Good steaks, great customer service, good prices

We r going thru a difficult time...So many people r working in the service industry that really do not want to be there...Im so tired of poor customer service and folk just not wanting to do a job they r hired to do. Its like warm bodies...its so sad..I actually seen employees ignoring costumers and sincerely avoiding to do work. At this point, I blame management because u r not monitoring your best interest(getting my money) and I had so much more to give...I just dont want to get into it no more..I promise me and my family n friends will never return...they sale ox tails 25 feet from you with welcoming service...no ones hiding from work( blue cap).? Or keeping up mess(lemp)...so dissapointed and so much I didnt say....Alex u need to supervise...your employees comply when u micro manage

RJ Meats is the finest meat market I have ever experienced. The quality and the quantity of selections are beyond comparison. The prices are extremely fair and the staff is completely knowledgeable. What more could you ask for? Better parking perhaps, but totally worth the effort.

I enjoy shopping here the meat prices are going up but the employees there are ready to serve you the have lamb shanks, burgers, pork, beef, they dont fish it sold on the other side. I like there you see a lot of people.

My husband and I purchased a whole beef tenderloin yesterday (5/1/2021).The price was $11.95 per lb and the tenderloin was 6.7 lbs. Total $80.30. We had them cut the meat into 1 1/2 in filets. Imagine our surprise when we got home and there was a pound LESS meat than we paid for. Needless to say, I will NEVER shop at R J Meats again and if you do, let the buyer beware!

I went to Wrigleys to buy a corn 🌽 beef 🍖 and it was only 2 ppls in front of me basically in and out not bad at all the staff was very polite.

I have been coming here for over 10years My father knew the Original owner I was not privy to come with my father when I was younger but that being said this place has the best meat, just wish they had more pecan pies its my favorite and I always spend enough for a free 🥧 thanks for years of Great service. Also do you think you will ever add pricing for the items most sold like steak hamburger or ribs ???

A week ago I bought 60 16-18 oz. T-Bone steaks for a Rotary picnic. The steaks came from four whole loins and were outstanding! Everyone raved about how tender the steaks were. Several asked where I was able to get such good meat for such a reasonable price. Thanks to RJs.

Was here for the first time today. Austin and Ron took great care of me, and set up with with everything I asked for. Ive been buying my meat from the grocery store for 30 years. Im mad I didnt find this place sooner in my life. The burger I made tonight was the best Ive ever had. Ill never go to the big grocery store ever agai . Ill be back every week.

I got a half slab of NY Strips and they were the best steaks Ive ever had. And for $5.99 / lb you cant go wrong. The shop is squeaky clean and the customer service is top notch. They are also extremely generous with their philanthropic efforts and give back to charity on a regular basis. RJs is the bomb!

The best meat in Eastern Market! Great service by well knowledge employees. The prices are super reasonable as well. They have dry aged meats too. I will definitely be back. The ribeye I had was super juicy with great marbling.

Bought a slab of ribs there two weeks ago. When I arrived home and unwrapped them, the stench was overpowering. They were spoiled. I tried calling the number several times that Saturday and early in the following week with no answer. These ribs were unwrapped in a big pile in the display case, in contact with many, many dozens of other ribs. I had to throw them out. For Gods sake, do not buy meat from RJs unless it is vacuum wrapped. The worst experience buying meat ever...

DIRTY!!! Every business in this building. Dont go here, I never will again.

I Purchased a 7.65 pound slab of New York strip from RJ Meats for $5.95 a pound. I asked that the slab be cut into 1 inch thick steaks.For fun I decided to check the weight when I got home. The weight turned out to be only 5 pounds. When I called, the manager, who claimed to be RJ, stated that “we don’t cheat the difference was trimmed fat’.I didn’t see 2.65 pounds worth of fat when I purchased the slab. It all means that after the fat was trimmed (wink wink) which was 35% of total weight, the actual cost of the strips was $9.10. Next time its Costco for me!!

WAS A COUPLE OF BLOCKS AWAY FROM THIS PLACE GETTING TRAILER LOADED AT WOLVERINE PACKING CO AND MY CO-DRIVER GOES OUT AND RETURNS A SLAB OF RIBS FROM RJS, THE BEST BBQD RIBS I HAVE EVER EATEN FROM ANY TAKE OUT RESTAURANT HANDS DOWN... ALMOST AS GOOD AS WHEN WE PULL OUT THE GRILL AT HOME
