It’s really far away from me and for that reason I go there only once a month but I get whatever I need for a month. I trust this place and it’s been 6 years that I go there.Their meat is always fresh and the butchers are all nice and friendly, they’re also patient (I’m not Arabic so I always ask silly things about the meat and meat that I need for arabic kebobs and they always answer my questions nicely)A thumbs up for this place

I have been going there for the past 16 years. Usually I have a good experience. Today I was the first yo get there. I asked for hamburger meat, the butcher had a cart full of meat with a lot of fat on it. That was what I got, I did not want to say anything for fear of blowing up in my face. I think he was upset for some reason, and it clearly showed. Usually I get some fat in the meat, but this time it was excessive. I drove 25 miles to get quality meat specially when my average bill is $225. If I wanted fatty meat I would go to the corner butcher, pay the one dollar extra per pound, there are many around my house.

Listen I like that they are halal based and have so many variations of cuts of meat. I got scammed twice by them when I bought a whole lamb. Twice the meat stinks and black. After cooking it I would hold my nose bc it smelled bad. Never ever buying lamb from them. I like the hot dogs and bacon that I find at the grocery stores.

Great selection of meats and fish & chicken and the prices is spot on, when you cook the food you can taste the quality and flavor .

Very good price $$ quality prefect one Thuseday and Thursday because they bring new stuff. However dont ever ask if food is frozen or new they will lie to you just to buy it. overall 8/10

As I’m walking in a young man greets me and hands me a cart I go to the meat section the butchers are nice people as I’m walking out the store with my shopping cart full of groceries same young man helps me take it to the car and hands me the bags very nice place and very affordable amazing prices, all though the only bad experience ab this place is the parking is very tight other than that 10/10!

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY! CHECK MEAT BEFORE! I purchased over $250 of meat from them. When I got home I noticed that the meat was black and cannot be cooked or eaten and was spoiled. I called them to tell them that I want to return it back to them for a refund and that I did not want to do business with them anymore. They refused to give me my money back.

Tight backing, but there is a worker to help get docked. Once in door unloaded 13 pallets in 27 minutes. Very professional workers. There is no overnight parking there, but parking lots are around the area, off street parking, etc. Check Google maps to see what you can find. I would give 5 stars, because of the workers, but the area, parking/ Tight backing, lowers it to a 4.

There is a confusion circulating among many muslims that Saad wholesale is not selling Zabiha Halal meats. Can you please confirm this? Also they dont have baby goat meats which is very popular among south asian people. They told customers they have it but these are actually lamb meats. Can they confirm they sell baby goat meats as well. Overall they are very good and having lots of choices of halal meats. Thanks

Easy once you get the system down that you need to get in line for the butcher table to order, then verify the weight with the scale station in the center of the store, and check out is at the exit. Credit cards are accepted.

Saads quality is always beautiful which makes them very popular.I went around 10 am yesterday a Saturday and had to stand in line outside. The wait was not long and it moved really quickly inside as well.

They may have been using the same location for over a decade now, but if youve been a regular, you can see theyve developed a LOT since theyve first started their business. The only reason why I havent given it 5 stars is because I personally wish there was a bit more variety available (but Im not saying they dont have any!). Excellent workers, excellent selection of meats and poultry, absolutely worth the business!

Bad quality meats, they sell the top quality to restaurants and other butcher shops, and then the old or diseased animals are sold to people at the wholesale market, ground beef is 60% fat that they usually should throw away, prices are more than what you would get from any market in dearborn, customer service doesnt exist, all in all a horrible place.

Hello truckers if you wanna waste 3-4 hours then this is the best place for you ...you come to this place and they send you to another warehouse to get unload and then when i called here to tell them that no body is unloading me yet and they told me no no no you talk to them THE BOL has halal market address on so it’s your responsibility to call not the driver also on my paperwork it says they start unloading at 6:00am but the guy who unload trailer comes at 7:00am and i arrived here at 6:00am and got out at 10:00am...

This place cheats its customers. I sent my daughter to buy meat on my behalf. She requested a specific type of ground beef called Towbeh which is lean meat with no fat. The butcher took advantage since my daughter is gullible when it comes to meat types. He brought her instead a piece of beef filled with fat. He tricked her knowing she wouldnt know the difference. As soon as she brought the ground beef home I was able to tell immediately the butcher gave her a totally different type of meat. My daughter told me she knew he was giving her something different because he brought her a piece from the back, towbeh is tyically fresh and displayed in the front. She saw him ground the unknown piece of meat with a ton of fat, but she was too shy to argue with him. Im certain the piece he grounded up was old and he was trying to get rid of it by grounding it up with fat. They charged me as if it were fat-free towbeh which is more expensive than the fatty meat I was given. I am very disappointed and disgusted by this behavior.

I usually shop in person at the store. Recently, I tried the pick up option. The meat is frozen and the lamb chops has ‘made in Australia’ tag and a production date of 9/2019. Pure hypocrisy since they once had a sign saying imported meat sold in other stores might not be halal. If I want 1 year old Australia lamb chops, I will go somewhere else which is way cheaper!

Good place to shop every type of meat

I recently placed a home delivery order. I called my order in, the person I spoke to ( Samar ) was so sweet and very patient with all my questions. She Clarified all the prices and made sure my order was complete and correct. I got my order within two days as she stated. It was delivered to my door, contactless which was great considering the times we’re in. Everything came packed neat, and all my beef was fresh and looked amazing. I also ordered chicken and they also were packed neatly. I would definitely recommend Saad wholesale. Their prices are unbeatable and they do not disappoint. This is my first time here today and I am very satisfied with the service. There were couple of butchers helped me to identify the correct size of meat required for me. The meat was fresh and you have plenty of varieties to choose. I recommend it.

The worst place ever to get meat from. Called and complained about bad meat that i bought the same day, steak was black on the inside and stinky... called them and the guy tried to tell me thats normal. Its not my first time buying meat. I know how steak should look like.

I have been their customer since 2 years. Pros:Decent variety of meat available.Prices are cheap.Wait time other than weekends is not much.Cons:Their chicken cut is standard big pieces. So if u want medium or small cut its not the place for you.If you want skin off chicken they dont have it.Why i am giving 2 stars then:Not all of them But Some times staff is really rude. I noticed this before but I usually give benefit of doubt if it happens once in a while but not today.I went today to one of the butcher at section where they grind meat, but to my fault i couldn’t convey him properly as in what i want. Instead of helping me understand with the options i have, The response was like super rude and he was too loud “ WHAT YOU WANT COME ON COME ON TELL ME” as if i am there for charity or free meat.My Conclusion:Place is cheap and has pretty good variety.But some times you have to pay the price you save from cheap meat and that is your self respect dealing with that one rude butcher or cashier. They lost a customer.I tried to keep this review honest.

As a long time customer of Saads meat market, who brings customers from the Grand Rapids area I was very disappointed this morning. As my mother and I made are way around picking the quality meat that they provide. We picked out lamb shoulder and wanted it cut. I want up to the area where the meats are was greeted with a friendly hi from one of their older employees who is always on top of his game sorry I didn’t catch his name but he does have one finger missing always so nice. We handed him the meats since there multiple pieces of lamb shoulder he passed half of them to station in front him. On the other station the guy cutting the meat he drops on the floor without the plastic on the meat or offering us to get a new piece of meat he picks up the meat from the ground cuts snd bags it with no shame gives us the bag. As long time customer we didn’t want to make a fuss with customer inside we took the meat paid for and threw it out once we got home. With everything going in the world sanitary is the highest priority which seem to this person it definitely was not. Will have too twice before going to saads meat mark Again.

I have always loved buying stuff from this place but recently i feel the service has dropped down and goat and lamb has started to have a strange smell after its cooked.

Lamb is frozen and not the best quality, unless you buy a whole lamb. Its cheap frozen meat. If you dont care much about quality over quantity this is your place.

Cons: To be honest not all people there were bad but most of them have a bad attitude dealing with the customers. I bought both lamp and beef. The quality of beef was bad. It was bloody and black which explains it was not fresh. I also have a concern about the source they come from.Pros: the service was fast, the prices were cheap, there is a variety of meat you can buy.

Good variety of fresh and frozen halal cut meats and chicken. Other frozen meats are also available. Fish and animals parts/organs are also available but frozen. Personally I go there for the fresh meats. Been there a lot and definitely will be going back

I buy all of my meat from this place. I spend 4+ hours driving from Ohio specifically to get there. I reviewed 4 instead of 5 because I kindly ask the owner to shift the operation hours to 5pm or later. It is quite difficult for customers who live far away to make it there before the place closes. Bought a box of lamb chops. Lots of non-lamb chops parts were in that box (fat parts) to make it weight more. Watch what you buy.

Buying meat products anywhere else is a waste of you’re money. This place has everything from lamb chops,wings, red snapper, deli meat, beef bacon and fresh burger area. Best to get there early morning before 10 to avoid big crowds as the place dose get busy.

We went here for the first time a couple months ago, a 2 1/2 hour drive. It was well worth the trip. The selection of meats and the customer service was excellent. We filled our freezer with quality meat for a great price. We will definitely visit again.

Today I noticed a new butcher, he was very courteous, helped me decide on the part and cut I needed. This took about 15 seconds and was painless. Please keep this up. The butcher station is hectic naturally but with this professionalism and courtesy it was very easy and efficient.

No doubt their prices are ok but their system and attitude towards customer is worse. Please always check the bill before you leave the shop. I bought, chicken wing box, boneless chicken breast, lamb and 5 pound beef and at checkout they charged for 52 pound instead of 5 pound. So please always check your receipt before you leave the store.

This is a good place to get halal meats at pretty good prices. If you go on Saturday, get there before 11:00a.m. for the best selection.Its not fancy and youre essentially in a freezer getting a lot of products yourself, but the staff is friendly and will help you along the way.Its a hidden treasure within Eastern Market.
