Not good. Ordered an ice coffee. Was first order and customer of the day. They took 10 minutes to make a caffee mocha. Then told me they didn’t have ice. So it was literally half milk with no ice. They tried to hand it to me like this and that’s just not okay to pass it off as “iced” with no ice. So they remade it as a hot coffee. Meanwhile 3 other customers in line behind me got their drink orders before me.

Best cappuccino at the DTW airport (or in town)... even better... there isnt a stupid long line like there is a the other typical coffee place.

Excellent cold brew and creative decor. Good selection of cold and hot espresso and filter drinks.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many of the shops in the McNamara terminal and airport (in general) were closed. Options were limited.This coffee shop was one that I had not heard of before, and I really had no coffee substitutes to choose from. However, in a way, I am glad that I came here and tried their iced coffee.When I go to a coffee shop, I usually order some sort of iced coffee. I do not like it to be on the overly sweet side where I am essentially drinking a cup of liquid sugar. I like the coffee to be strong and rich, and I like it to have a couple splashes of the sweet flavor. That was exactly what I received! The flavor I had with my iced coffee was caramel. The barista put in a very little amount that was perfect for complimenting the coffees taste.

I sometimes wonder if there’s something wrong with me when I think of how much I love sitting at this coffee shop in an airport. I look forward to people watching at the DTW Illy as much as reaching my destination. I wish there were more Illy cafes in the Midwest.

Its crazy that of all places the Italian coffee company illy would have a cafe inside the Delta terminal of the Detroit airport. Located right next to the big fountain, the cafe is centrally located in the terminal. Surprisingly, the line is never as long as that other big American chain with the lady in green despite having far superior (stronger) coffee. If youve never had an illy espresso drink before, brace yourself for some really good stuff. Its too bad that there arent more merch available for purchase like the other illy cafes.

Very mediocre coffee. I ordered a cappuccino and it was warm milk dumped on a bad shot of espresso. I could see the barista making my drink, he did not tamp the coffee for the espresso and poured the same amount of milk into my cappuccino as he did into the latte for the lady who ordered after me.

Best coffee and baked goods in town. Their chicken wrap is also fantastic.
