We live 1 hour from the store. I went in to order while we were in town and to receive the military discount that isn’t offered online. I had ordered another item and was picking that up, so I inquired about the status of this box. I was told it arrived on the truck the night prior. After walking around the store for 45 minutes, they were unable to locate it and said they would call when they did. I never received the text/email saying it was ready for pick-up. Three days later, I called to see if they had found it and was told that it had been shipped to the wrong store. I had to drive a hour each way to get my card refunded and the box reordered. So the second the box arrived at the store, but I received an email saying that there was a problem with the order. So I called the store and the girl I spoke with was very rude. She cut me off almost instantly and transferred me to the receiving department. The guy in receiving explained the damage and said he would contact me after he figured out the reorder status. Again, three days later I drove a hour each way and immediately asked to speak to a manager. When the Assistant Manager came to the front, she told another girl at the service desk to give me a discount and order it via the .com store. So my card was again, refunded and recharged for the same item a third time. The third time, I called and the automated system told me it had arrived and I’d receive a text/email when it was ready. Well, five days passed and no communication. So I again called and was told it was ready to pick-up. This was by far the worst experience I’ve had ordering anything from any retailer.
Ordered a refrigerator months ago ...they gave me a delivery date for November 1st. and after waiting patiently for over a month they leave me a voice message 3 days before the stated delivery date saying that now the delivery had change to January 5th.I was absolutely disgusted about it .of course I cancelled the order and now I m stuck with a home depot credit card that I wont be even ever be using. Outrageous what they are doing to people.I myself will be avoiding home depot as it was covid.
Looking to purchase a $4000 refrigerator but the said they will not deliver to Coffee Springs and will not ship to the store for pickup. The woman in the department was very nice and tried to be helpful. We would give her 5 stars. But this rating is for Home Depots lack of customer care.
I would like to thank Fiona at the return desk for helping me with my online order and credit card application. She was very nice and pleasant and contacted customer service for me, more than once. It was a pleasant experience, and great customer service on her part.
Ordered a washer and dryer over a month ago. The first delivery failed due to “truck smoking”. Delivery is then rescheduled for 20 days later. We received a call yesterday to confirm delivery and no one ever showed up. We called an hour past scheduled delivery time frame & were told it should be here. Cancelled order because this is insane & will not be purchasing major appliances from them ever again.
Spent over 475.00 in the store but couldnt get any one to help me locate a bath tub surround. Cashier was more helpful than any other employee in the store. She even went out of her way to do a phone purchase, . Not her job. Cashier gets 5 stars,. Other staff gets 0 stars.
Wonderful staff and great patrons in general! Easy to find everything we needed, and very clean store. We went in and had several boards cut for an entertainment center we are building and the staff was awesome with the saw. We found everything we needed in about 4 aisles. Plus, the staff loved on our corgi and encouraged others to do so. Best hardware store trip ever!
WARNING!!!Do NOT purchase any appliances from Home Depot! They contract delivery only and the company they contract with is horrible and Home Depot says they can’t do anything about it. After learning the delivery companies name and looking at reviews, i realize this is an issue and has been. Google “Exclusive Enterprise” out of Midway, Fl and you can decide if you really want to do business with someone that partners with a company like this.

How Ridiculous! Purchased a $500 charcoal smoker grill online TODAY online, masterbulit gravity 560, added Assembly, a grill cover, charcoal, waited for email to pick up curbside for our familys Labor Day cookout later this afternoon (last minute our old grill refused to light) received email, called & was told assembly crew is out until after the holiday! Seriously?!?!?! Takes 3-5 days to get my $630 back and no one in the store is competent enough to put together the grill that I paid for and specifically was suppose to pick up TODAY!!! Wow! Talk about poor customer service! I remember now we have previously & almost always shopped Lowes for our needs! Sorry we cheated on you Lowes, never again!
Ordered a washing machine in April. Got appointment date on May 19. Took off work and they were a no show. So a reschedule for the 25. Well the call came on 24 that they were gonna deliver my range and refrigerator. I told them I ordered a washing machine, so another day of delivery was made, 26 between 2 and 6. Well they are still a no show as of 7:25. This is ridiculous. I have not had a washing machine in the house since 19 since I followed the rules to have it out of their way. I hope Home Depot can find better folks to handle their deliveries. I paid in advance in full, but not guaranteed a refund for days. Poor service for sure I guess buying local ain’t gonna be the best idea.
Staff cannot be bothered to acknowledge you. Pickup order a few months ago. Checked in. Nothing for 15min. Won’t answer the phone for pickup. Have to go in, “oh there was never a notification..you must have done something wrong on your end.” “We didn’t hear the phone” they said as it was actually ringing in the background. Showed the British accent lady my phone with the check in, somehow made things worse. I’m sorry for the pickup order, will not inconvenience the staff again.
Wanted to purchase a new lawnmower, but Home Depot wouldnt give Veteran discount. I have a copy of my DD214, its stamped on my Drivers License which also has the Gold Star meaning it can be used as Federal Identification. But was told NO cause what I have isnt on their list. So I went to Lowes where all my info is connected to my My Lowes card. Scan the card and discount applied, that simple. Pay attention Home Depot, youre behind the 8 ball. Needless to say, I Wont Be Back.

I enjoy going to Home Depot. It is very rare that I am not able to find the item I need. The staff is very helpful. That is usually my go-to place for the products they carry.
Went to the Dothan, Alabama Home Depot for a chest freezer, a large chest freezer. The sales representative said, Ill need your zipcode first, 36314. No we cant deliver to to you. We are 25 miles from the Home Depot, Dothan, Alabama. We (buyers) will gladly pick the freezer up. No, it isnt possible to sale a freezer to us because we do not have appliances delivered to the store. The sales representative reply to us and I quote, we can not sale to you. Personally, I dont need to buy from Home Depot, ever again. WOW a business that doesnt need customers, who would have ever thought that would happen. Check you zipcode before shopping at Home Depot.May our good Lord continue to bless Home Depot, Dothan, Alabama
I went to Home Depot yesterday to find a door to an opening that was too small. After talking with BAMA (the associate who helped me) I was soooo relieved. He was super friendly, very patient, and attentative to my needs. Happy to know theres still good hardworking people thats willing to work. Way 2 go BAMA! By the way....Love the mask!

Yay! A big box hardware store! I really can’t complain though. They mostly have what I need. The prices aren’t the greatest.
I’ve been trying to cancel an appliance delivery for a week now. They did not meet their delivery date that was scheduled in store. I told them I want to cancelmy orde. Home Depot told me I have to contact the delivery company. I did they said Home Depot needed to take care of it. Called them back. Home Depot says Samsung needs to take care of it. This has been a terrible experience with no resolution.
The workers were very helpful and patient 110% .
I ordered the desk online but had to go to Dothan to pick it up. I was disappointed that it couldn’t be delivered to my house but I was extremely surprised by the simplicity of picking up the desk when we got to Home Depot. It was so quick and easy and the customer service assistant was extremely efficient, quick on her feet and though very busy was extremely friendly.
Staff is always very helpful and accommodating, and will go out of their way to make sure your needs are met. I will often drive a little farther for something, to get it at home depot because the customer service here is top notch!
I love they have Ryobi, I went to Lowes on short notice and they have such a limited hardware and tools selection. I had to drive further to find a Home Depot
The Home Depot in Dothan Alabama is the only place that sold what I needed,so if you have shop around and couldnt find what you needed, Try the home Depot in Dothan.
This place has anything you want,only problem is they are doing some remodeling and you might have trouble finding things. Best selection of tile anywhere, walls,floors also wood. Good selection of Appliances, cabinets at sale prices. Sanitizer and macks.very helpful.

Very courteous staff although I am not fond of their corporate interests they only allow the veterans discount a couple times a year unless your 100 service connected disabled... I am happy that they acknowledge the vets who were injured but those who werent didnt give any less of an effort they were just blessed not to be injured... Anyways something corporate needs to reconsider..

Purchased a grill inside the store, waited forever outside without any employee offering assistance to unlock the item and load. I walked back into the store and returned the item. They knew the item was never actually taken by the customer and even then, no one cared enough to offer assistance. Apparently, completing a sale is not of a concern.

Super easy to find most everything we were looking for. We had to ask the staff about an air conditioning filter and she took us right to the one we needed and was really friendly. We will definitely go back again.
Very efficient shopping experience. Clean restrooms and isles you can walk in without weaving through carts waiting to stock shelves. So much better shopping here than fighting the clutter and dogs at the Enterprise Lowes.
You can purchase an appliance there but you cannot ever actually get it. It was a horrible experience. Home depot had me wait month after paying cash for my dryer. There was 2 delays. Like most people I had to take off work and wait for delivery. I Wasted time off from work. Tried to get help but was hung Up on twice when I called the store. Then waited on hold for 20 mins. When I did finally talk to someone they told me could get a refund. I said ok.. I will never shop there again.

I was supposed to have a delivery today between 11-3 for a washer and dryer. I received a confirmation the day before. So I made sure I had today off. No one showed up today by 3:00 I called at 3:03, to be told it was pushed this afternoon to a different day with no other option. I talked to the supervisor, and several other people with no help. Home depot gave me no communication until I called. F- in customer satisfaction. Will never order anything again from home depot.

Dont expect to have Pros at your beck and call here and the cashiers act like theyre doing you a favor by being there. Do most everything you can yourself or youll be there all day waiting for someone to help you.

I ask 3 people for assistance 2 acted like it was a problem to help the 3rd was a cashier who took time to help but then got chastised by a older woman that work there for leaving her station to help. Maybe its not company policy but at least she tried. Oh and the older woman was 1 of the 2 that was not any help.

Approximately an hour ago, I stood at the counter in windows and doors for 25 minutes without being acknowledged. One employee was waiting on a customer while the other had his face buried in the computer. Customer service apparently isn’t a priority!

Ran in to get a couple keys, not a bad experience. The do-it-yourself kiosk was down but they were able to call an employee over to help me. He got me done pretty quickly, just had to go pay and I was out the door. The self checkouts were a little bit frustrating too, dont take any contactless payments and you have to scan everything yourself with a handheld reader. They do have hand sanitizer spray there, which is nice considering the fact that you have to touch all the equipment, but I would have preferred something that was a little easier and more updated.

Their military appreciation is somewhat of a farce. They state that they will provide a 10% discount to veterans. However your Alabama DL with a veteran status on it only applies on holidays! How is it acceptable then but not all the other days of the year? You have to submit a DD-214 to the license agency to get the certification on your DL.....
They were super busy around this time but super nice and helpful.

I just bought an Akron Kamodo grill from here and the service was excellent. Originally I was going to get the pre-assembled floor model, but that turned out to be missing a few small parts. A short while later they bring me a new one in the box, and an extra bag of charcoal for the trouble. All the employees were kind, helpful, and considerate. I would definitely recommend this particular store to any of my friends.
