Not the best experience. I went to get gender reveal balloons, wanted the gender to be a surprise. They took my order, said it would take about an hr, then called me to tell me they didnt have balloons for the gender reveal that they were gonna try to get balloons and confetti. Ended up waiting 2 hrs for a plain black balloon...it was not ideal

Great and smooth online order pickup. Everything was ready and the female worker was nice and quick.

I wanted a costume and the employee ask me if I needed help? I said yes I would like this costume but Im not sure what size. She went to go get it and she said I could take it out of the bag to see the size. I asked her can you help me with this and she did. She was very very helpful to me.

They have a large selection for party🎊🎉. But it will cost you $2 to $5💰💰💰 more than other places. Good place for last-minute🏃‍♂️💨 partys. They will have basically everything you need. friendly employees also if youre looking for an anime themes they will not have it.😑

Dont go here for your halloween needs. Theres hardly any costumes or variety. When I asked about a certain costume, they showed me something totally different than what I was looking for. Then they said thats all we have. Uhm, ok?Thanks for nothing.

Ive been here twice and the customer service has been excellent.Today I had my 1 year old daughter with me waiting for my order. A lady on the staff came up and gave my daughter a balloon. My daughter was happy and entertained, I was happy.That was very kind of her

Do not recommend this place, went yesterday 3/31/21 to buy my daughter balloons for her 18th birthday and it hasn’t even been 24 hours and all the balloons are deflated literally in the ground. The price wasn’t even cheap we spent $33. I would rather buy balloons in dollar three because we bought some on January and till day they are still inflated. Really upset with this never again buying from here.

Worst customer service! I ordered online for curbside(online says usually takes about 2hrs) I called the store for an update because I thought it was weird that over 4-5 hrs and still no order ready email. My order never got worked on!! . I needed it for the same day!! Store rep said well it’s not ready and we’re closing. I said cancel my order then and they wouldn’t cancel it ! In my confirmation email at the bottom it says “ change you mind? Call the store” but for what if they won’t even help! NEVER AGAIN am I ordering from this location again. I will dispute with my bank!

Not happyI recall only getting 6 items and they charged for 6 and taxed me on it as well. When I told the cashier she said it will only credit you for the amount bought not the taxes. I was like why if you charged me shes like I dont know but this is all its allowing me to credit you. This is a rip off.

Prices are too high for poor quality ballons..the helium does not last..within a few hours 2 or 3..they start loosing air. Other than that..they have alot of variety.

Went during a slow Friday morning for a curbside pick up and submitted arrival through the online system. Waited for 20mins until I realized I should just go inside store to pick up my order. Two men employees working there were very indifferent as I waited in line. I’m waiting in line for service and one is on his phone. I felt ignored so I spelled out because at this point I could wait another 20mins being ignored. I have been to this store multiple times and this is the first time employees acted like jerks.

Absolutely unacceptable will be giving ZERO STARS placed my order this morning and hours later after my card has been charged I get a phone call that the balloons I ordered are “out of stock”Okayyy well fix your damn website, and I wont be getting my money till “a week or so” how the employee said it.

I had a curbside pick up and I called when I was outside which no one ever picked up my phone call. They dont welcome you when you walk into the store or even say thank you when you pay and leave!! There was 2 girls in the register and took for ever to attend 1 person at a time. There was another girl in balloon counter which seemed a bit angry and had an attitude for some reason, she never asked any customer if they needed help or say where the line started. It was my first time placing a order here in this party city and to be honest it will be my last!! Definitely would not recommend to my family and friends.

The Party City on Firestone Blvd in Downey close to Home Depot always runs out of Helium. This is the one closest to my home. So I have to run to the next location over. I dont understand why some stores have the helium and others dont 😥

Everything was swept up. They Need more paper decorations for Halloween.

Love this Party City. Clean and organized. Staff is friendly and helpful. Sometimes prices can be a bit high for some items. For example, I saw a bag of Halloween pencils for $5.99 where I saw almost identical pencils at Dollar tree for $1 of course. Parking is spacious and clean.

I went to two of the party City locations and the one in the Lakewood Center in Downey has staff that are very rude the staff behind the counter we asked for an item and she refused to help us she said she couldnt check for that item we wont be coming back to this location. But then we went to the location on Firestone in Downey and what a difference the cashier there was very helpful and made sure we were satisfied with our purchases well be coming back love the service there

Party City is great because they have everything you could possibly want when it comes to party supplies, but their prices are really high. I receive coupons but have to spend a lot in order to be able to use them.

Employees not very helpful. Ask questions about products, they said they didnt have it, i walked down the aisle an found it myself.

I was looking for a very specific costume for a birthday party, and was pleassntly surprised at how helpful the staff was helping me find the items I wanted. The store had items for my costume I hadnt even thought of. When it came time to pay, the total had a minimal amount of pennies in it and the cashier was kind enough to use some that were laying around so I didnt have to break a dollar(pennies should be eliminated from our currency).
