Trading Post is the best! They have an AMAZING beer selection and liquor as well. Prices you cant beat. Not to mention the Mexican candy selection! Theybhave everything i grew up with. Its definitely your one stop shop. Lastly, Veronica is the best! Her friendliness and customer service is impeccable

I absolutely love this place! They have a great selection of craft beers, spirits and old school candys. The energy is great because theyre always playing the jams making your visit memorable. Veronica is a sweetheart and Jeremy is the man!

I love the feel of this quaint liquor store, which by the way, doesn’t look like a liquor store from the outside! Jeremy is the best will help you find any beer style you want. They have a wife variety of alcohol and candy. One of my favorite spots for beer.

Best liquor store on the face of this Earth. You can create your own six pack of mix and match beer cans, they sell retro Candy, traditional Mexican candy, they have a California lottery scratchers machine or you can play the lotto, they also have a really wide variety of iced teas, bottled coffee drinks, chips, snacks, cup noodles, cookies, and they sell full size bottles of liquor. A very well thought out business with a nice design and take on Western.

A friend of mine told me about this liquor store because they sell a lot of craft beer so I decided to give ita try. The clerk Veronica was very helpful in helping me to find exactly what I was looking for. Will be definitely be coming back.

I really enjoy coming into Trading Post! Once you enter youre transported to the old west without having to use a time machine (mine broke down last week). More than great, unique, selection of all kinds of liquor and candy too!

They have classic/ candy from the past and a great choice of beverages from water to energy drinks, and alcohol, their variety of beer gives you a lot to choose from. Cool people who work there.

Pretty dope for a liquor store. Huge selection plus they have a lot of unique items you really do not find elsewhere. Amazing candy section with a bunch of old school candies. Also Kingston Coffees here. The charcoal lemonade is bomb.

Very cool spot in Downey. Theres plenty of parking which always nice to have. Staff is friendly and willing to assist in spirits selection. In fact, I went there once looking for a specific beer, of which, they didnt have but the assistant offered to order it. Low and behold, they kept true to their word. This goes a long long way in customer service.

Ive got to tell ya, this place is bitchin. Whoever took over management of the place completely renovated it and really did nail the Trading Post theme. I go out of my way to buy my beer, liqour and candy there because they have an excellent selection and some really cool retro candy that reminds me of my childhood. You will not find a better liquor store in all of Downey. As a matter of fact, I cant think of a liquor store that tops the place anywhere. I encourage you to check it out for yourself; they did it right and its a breath of fresh air for me everytime I go in. Cheers!
