Went here two weeks ago. All of the employees were so helpful and accommodating. I was looking for a concealer, and Danny did a great job helping me find the concealer that matched my skin tone. Would definitely come here again!

I usually chalk up beauty stores to marketing at its finest. I never expect to see any real results, but I have been proven wrong by the friendly and knowledgeable staff. They have shown me about their products and how effective they are. I will not underestimate their products as this place is not your average beauty shop.

Nikki with the hair salon at this Ulta cut off so much more of my hair than what she showed me. She showed me about 2 inches of hair to cut off but she realistically cut off 4 almost 5 inches. I had measured where my hair previously was and to now. She was also rude and didn’t talk and the few things I did say she would just fake laugh and keep cutting my hair. I wasn’t rude but I literally hate this hair cut more than anything rn. I haven’t stopped sobbing over it. Honestly avoid Nikki if anything.

I went to have a haircut and color dye in this location. While the stylist was nice, unfortunately he isn’t a good stylist, IMO. The haircut was a bob, but it came out unmatched (one side was longer than the other). The haircut feels uneven, and it is left to be desired. And for the high price they charged me, they should have better stylists.

I went in to invest on some good shampooos and treatment for my dry frizzy hair. Diane helped me out and she was AMAZING. Recommended me great products to help with my hair. I’m excited to try them !!So update on my review. The products I was recommended changed my hair life. I naturally have wavy/curly frizzy thick hair. Thank you Diane for your help !!

Went to get my eyebrows waxed and Mara was great!!! She did a great job. The store was clean and even though the line to check out was long they knocked it down quick.

I was traveling through Downey, so I took advantage of the shopping. Here at Ulta Beauty I bought a mascara (Benefit) and the product was dry and empty, at first glance the product box looked like new and I did not check that the product was already used. Also, in the same way it happened with an eyeliner (tattoo liner) that I bought, it was dry and does not paint anything. Unfortunately, I cannot return them because I returned to my country. The only good thing was buying The Ordinary products, those were in good condition. Be careful and check before you buy. Attached photos.

Had the best experience ever at the Downey store I originally purchased a lancome foundation product but bought wrong shade went back to exchange color had an issue with receipt....but manager patty took care of me, great customer service she was able to resolve my issue.thank u patty!

Ulta has pretty much every brand of makeup one can imagine. Lancome, benefit, Urban decay, m a c, Estee Lauder, and I could go on and on. If you cant find what youre looking for there then it isnt available. Its a little pricey, but itd be just like going to the mall and find it at Macys or Sachs. Not only do they carry makeup but they carry hair tools, brushes, curling irons and straighteners, and they even have someone who will shape your eyebrows.

Terrible experience at the beauty bar. First appointment with Mara was canceled and reschedule for the following day. I arrived on time and walked past her talking at the from. Waited 20 minutes to be told I was late she she wouldnt have enough time. Employee at the register told her I was on time but that she could only do 1 or the 2 services booked. I left. Terrible customer service would not recommend.

They always have what Im looking for here. It cosmetics Cc creams are the best at coverage. Highly recommend.

My daughter and I went in here ready to spend on make up and skin care. This was my first time buying make up for my daughter. We had such a horrible experience. The sales women here look act like they do not want to work . They were so rude not only to me but to another Customer . will never come back to this place again.

This visit was very pleasant, everything was clean and in stock. I miss the testers but they are doing a great job of keeping us safe. Thank you ladies!

This is honestly my favorite Ulta, this one carries a few of the brands that are not being carried in other stores. They are usually well stocked and the employees there are always nice and super helpful.

Always has enough supply I love that. Over the weekend I purchased a lipstick but accidentally brought the wrong color I went back to return it and had no problems that is great.

The manager there was a dream I needed a hydrating skin care treatment and she helped me so much I love her recommendation

I went in to purchase my face make-up and powder and all displays say do not touch I walked around the clinique display for 20 minutes and no one came to help me. They helped other customers around me, but not me. After standing around for 20 to 25 minutes I left disappointed 😔

The great: this Ulta actually carries a much better variety of the most popular products in store. I especially like they carry brands from Black-owned beauty companies. Im also glad there are now testers for the drugstore brands. They could definitely use more products from Colourpop and Id like to see Coloured Raine carried here too.The not so great: customer service can be lacking at times. This seems to be an issue with Ulta no matter which one I shop at. There are the rare occasions where a beauty consultant will ask if I need assistance. More often than not, Im invisible and have to find an associate. In short when its great, an associate will go above and beyond.

Dont shop here! They double charged my card. If you do, check your charges to your credit card. Im sure Im not the only person they charged twice for one purchase,and they did not repay me for their mistake! I will never shop at this store! Rip off! Zero stars

This place was amazing and has all the beauty products that womens wants. This place is like a dream of a womens. I love the foundation and some other stuff. It was all worth it.

I loved and appreciated how a beauty consultant/costumer service rep saw me looking for something and then walked over asked if I needed help and found everything I was looking for in 10 seconds!! The cashier then alerted me to a promotion, I went back grabbed three more items and she let me go right back to the cashier I was at and quickly checked me out without me having to wait in line again. She also remembered my free gift and through in some samples. I had a great experience and cant wait to go back!!

I was in line for 30 minutes when there was on 2 people in line and the worker saw us but was busy BUSY on her phone and being fascist following a African American customer asked her so often if she was going to purchase or not when she literally just walked in with her baby girl omg

Came inside this Ulta. Was disappointed by the customer service. The guy in the cashier kept hiding from us to not help us. Clearly we were looking around for help and did not even bother. I asked him a question and he told me to check the bottom drawers. The store was not busy. Disappointed!! If you work in customer service then you should know how to talk to us CUSTOMERS

Cashier demanded my name and telephone number in order to be able to return item if needed. I was making a purchase and shocked that she said I couldnt return item with a receipt., A proof of purchase. She was serious. Shame on you Ulta for requesting this info and telling customers a proof of receipt is not enough.

Very disappointed! I had an appointment at the salon. My first experience and I explained my unique hair situation when I made the appointment over a month ago. I was looking forward to a new look for 2020 with my appointment on the 31st of December. Now I am stuck without a new hairdo. Truly disappointed that I was refused service.

Poor customer service specialy the supervisors they just walk around acting like they doing inventory.. or they see people walk in and dont get avoids customers so they will not assist them the cashiers have great customer service.. but the ones on the floor look at customers like with a face like they dont want to be bothered..

The store was very sold down on product after the holidays. A lot of colors of products were missing. No one greeted me or asked if I needed assistance and I was there looking all over the prestige make up brands for at least 30 minutes. The experience was just ok.

I had a pleasant experience here. I walked in and was greeted, the staff were both polite and very informative. With help I was able to get a foundation color match and find the perfect highlight for my skin. I recommend this Location.

Im so glad I didnt get my hair done at this location. So i walk in and im standing at the counter and one stylist is just sitting in her chair playing with her hair and the other one is talking to another Ulta employee. And after like 5 min of standing there waiting to be helped the chick playing with her hair comes up to me to ask what she can help with. So I proceed to let her know I would like a hair cut and she then glanced at her computer and says theyre all booked for the day. So i looked around confused because it was completely empty. It literally seemed like she just didnt feel like working.

Horrible costumer service, walked around the entire store like 3 times looking for an specific brand and no one bothered to help and when I finally asked an associate for help which was really a simple question she didn’t even let me ask and cut me off “hold on give me a second I’ll help you right now I’m helping her out” like first of all I was just gonna ask if they carried that brand and second she wasn’t doing much for that other person, she could of been nice about it but whatever I kept looking around and when I come back she’s by the register chilling with all the cashiers... sees me and nothing... at that point I figured out my self they don’t carry it but asked another girl by the reg and she was nice enough to answer my question... this is why I don’t mind driving all the way to Whittier the girls over there are always so welcoming and helpful should train these other girls on cs.

I love this place, Tiffany in the salon is awesome, she manages to cut hair amazingly with these long diva nails! The staff is great, had an issue with a return and management (wish I remembered her name, she had dark medium length hair, athletic figure) went above and beyond to help me and figure it all out. A great place to get to see the actual colors of makeup and not play the guEssington game of trying to pick the right hue for your skin color. Absolutely love it here!

Loved this store until my first return experience. DO NOT BELIEVE WHAT THE WEBSITE SAYS FOR RETURN POLICY. Its false advertisement. They do not hold your receipts on rewards card and even if they can verify purchase they will not return it the way you pay. They only offer store credit with no receipt. Stood in line 20mins, to return an item I bought 5 days ago, only to be told I can get store credit. And to top this irritating experience, this location has no gift cards available!!!! So they couldnt help me anyway. Oh and did I mention your virtual assistant must be robots because they are very unapologetic. Going back to Sephora.

Went in on Sunday afternoon. The line was so long, I left without buying anything. So I went on Tuesday night and guess what? A very long line again. Could it be a new manager that doesnt care if we stand in line for 20 to 30 minutes. They need more cashiers even on slow days. Going back to Ulta in Cerritos.

Ok i usually do online shopping to not deal with like the lines in the store and rude workers... but at this ulta it was SUPER CHILL! i want to thank Angie tho, really made my beauty school shopping easy, helping me find everything i needed and the lines where fairly quick so like it was dope!

This Ultas prestige section could be better stocked and a little more tidy and their mass has low stock on some items such as colourpop & morphe. But I was asked if I needed help so that’s good. This Ulta does not carry MAC, but does have lime crime, ofra, sugarpill, dose of colors, as well as a large selection of skin care including clarins.

They have a large selection of products but I purchased 2 a different foundation compacts Dermablend,, the sales tech sold me I looked like a corpse in, and the IT I exchanged it for was too creamy and wore off. I wanted a powder type foundation like MAC Studio Fix, which Ulta sells online but not in the store. Ill tell my daughter to get me a gift card from Macys. Much simplier with everything in stock.

Made an appointment to get a hair dyed at 7pm. The person who made appointment booked in system for wrong time 6:30pm so when I went the person Kat said they only give 15 minute grace period. I was like I have a appointment card it says 7pm but couldnt find it she said sorry I already booked someone else. I found card and instead of her trying to help me out just sat there doing nothing with a few other coworkers thanks for your customer service never coming back for these services

Horrible service..... Had a bad very bad experience with a sales associate over the phone. Everything went well in the end it’s just ridiculous dealing with that situation.

Superficial girls aka staff, not helpful, not doing there job. I was there 30 mimutes and no one came to help me find my shade of foundation. Instead girls are looking like over done manikins with zero IQ. As customers we need half descent staff to work store and know products since this is their job and why they are there.

The sales associates here are arrogant and are superficial. The store was not stocked well and the caisher was pushy and rude. I spend decent money at this store on a regular basis, yet I was treated like dirt.

Like their stock but the customer service stinks. No one asks if you need help. They might need more people on the floor. Also more cashiers because last time I waited in line for 20mins on a Thursday night.

Never stocked, No customer service. Im there about 3xs a week just beacuse I work around the area and its easier to do my returns, but Its rare when I buy from that store. I rather go to cerritos, Lakewood even Down town LB. customer service is amazing there unlike this one. Never a chasier, always a line, kinda messy at times and when ask for help its short and rude answers.

Bad customer service. I walked around aimlessly for 30 minutes just trying to find a product. I was not approached by any workers nor was there any on site. Most of them were in the cashier or in the back. First and last time shopping here.
