I always love stopping by the store and even just getting a freshly cut soap.My favorite thing to purchase is the luminous moisture BB cream foundation. The price is comparable to mid tier brands of “clean” make up. The difference is Lanae is totally transparent about ingredients and process, makes your foundation in front of you, and the color is totally custom to fit your skin tone!Another product I love is the eye shadow. A group of friends and I spent a great afternoon at Mix making eyeshadow. We all got to bring home a nice pallet of eyeshadow. The store owner was very helpful and made it an easy and fun experience.

What a fun shop, and I am lucky enough to have it in my neighborhood! All of the classes and workshops offered are unique and fun to take with friends and family. She is super cautious with safety in mind, I had no problem stopping in and picking out a few items, and she also offers curbside pick up. The products are top notch. Definitely encourage everyone to sign up for a workshop or stop in and shop!

Just got powder foundation - perfect shade me for me while I waited (not long) and I absolutely love it! I also got a sample of a new lotion - after two days of using that sample I HAVE to go back and get some. It is wonderful!!!

My skin loves the products and the experience shopping there and making items is one that no other place can compare to.Its very apparent that Lanae puts careful thought into all aspects of her company and providing a quality shopping experience with quality products.My first experience with this store was in May/June 2020 when the COVID restrictions were being lifted enough to allow in person shopping. I appreciated her attention to following and going above standard guidelines for COVID response. For me it has felt like a safe place to shop and take part in work shops at.Ive purchased numerous products over the last 9+ish months. I absolutely love her facecare products. The silk face wash, re-start face moisturizer, and the my immortelle facial oil have my skin looking the best it has in my adult years. I havent had any of my normal skin issues this winter with my combination oily/dry skin - my skin tone has evened out, and ive had fewer breakouts. I love the feel of the mineral foundation powder and concealer on my skin and the coverage that I get with them. Having her mix the makeup especially for me and knowing it is the perfect shade for me is great.I appreciate that the product containers are reusable. I appreciate that she puts thought into the ingredients that she uses and appears to have a lot of knowledge about every ingredient she decides to use.In a year where a lot of normal activities were no longer safe I loved that there were so many classes to take at Mix and to have a part in making my own products on my own and with a friend. I made bar soap, tinted chapstick, lotion, pampering facemask, and my own eye shadow pallet.

Great products! I got the mascara and gel eyeliner, both last all day and dont irritate my eyes. Plus, my lashes have never been softer

I walked into this store on a whim after picking up some flowers next door. I was amazed that something I had been scouring the internet for was in my own community. Usually shopping for cosmetics is a nightmare, especially online. I have to look for products that are labeled clean or hypoallergenic only to find dangerous chemicals in them. Lanae has put the effort into making simple and quality products at manageable prices. My first visit I bought the eyebrow filler and mascara. They both work magnificently. They dont cake or smear; which is a normal experience with other natural make-up. My plan is to invest my skin care and make-up into Mix Cosmetiques because Lanae has proven if you take your time, it is possible to make products that are good for our skin, and for the planet.

I bought the bug spray the other day from Mix Cosmetiques and I LOVE it! I really cant stand the smell of Citronella for long amounts of time so sunscreens or other sprays that have it in there make me sick. At first when you first spray the bug spray you smell it but within seconds you cant smell it anymore and the bugs steer clear! I will be buying more products in the future!

I tried many other blushes but they all caused bright red blood vessels to emerge on my cheeks. Out of desperation I found and tried Mix Cosmetiques and my problem was finally solved! And better yet, the color was matched perfectly for me!
