There is no other place in Duluth like the Electric Fetus. Their variety of records is quite grand. They have the best incense sticks in town, are dog friendly and have amazing staff members! Another bonus is that you will always leave with a new artist to explore thanks to their overhead speakers that are always playing something groovy.

Super chill store with a goofy selection of stuff on top of music! Staff was friendly and I got a super cute dinosaur dress with pockets at a fairly good price! Definitely worth at least a peek inside.

This is a fun place to find that one old album you listened to years ago but never got your hands on. They have a large selection of new and used music along with some video. It is also an interesting gift shop sort of on the order of the old 1970s head shop, including hundreds of old music posters on the walls and the aroma of incense permeating the air. The people are helpful and the prices arent bad.

The vibe is super chill in here, which is nice. The employees always greet you and offer help, I appreciate that they let you browse without being on top of you. Their vinyl is well organized and the gift items are fun and unique. My only critisism is I feel like the prices on used vinyl are slightly inflated compared to other places I go to for used records. I will continue to pop in here from time to time because at the end of the day it is just a really cool place.

This is just a fun place to browse and shop. They carry a huge variety of items! I brought my 17 year old down when she got a record player for Christmas. She easily spent an hour there and has gone back several times, coming home with more than albums!

The Electric Fetus is the best place to shop for records in Duluth. They have a great variety of new and used vinyl with reasonable prices and frequent specials. They also have a nice supply of turntables and accessories.

I bought tickets to a concert for almost $50.00 cheaper at the Electric Fetus (very cool name) than online. The gentleman, Pat, gave excellent service and Im happy that I stopped in the Electric Fetus.... (Very cool name)

Very helpful and Friendly staff, even at 10 minutes to close. Only complaint isnt against them but perhaps the copyright holders that will let you download or burn an album for a price but some of these release have incomplete albums as a few tunes from several live albums arent included in the release and other albums in a series are not available at all. But the Electric Fetus was very helpful.

Lots of good stuff but the vinyl was pretty expensive, as in used prices exceeding MSRP on albums that are still in print and readily available elsewhere. The 3 guys working couldnt be bothered to talk to customers or answer questions. Honestly, thats about what Ive come to expect at Record Stores though.Edit: I was specifically referring to a used 28 dollar record with scratches that came out in 2016 and is 22 shipped from the label and 16 bucks on Amazon.

If you are looking for records, CDs, used movies, unique clothing and jewelry, incense/candles, or tacky socks this is the place to go. Always something new and interesting to check out. Prices are very reasonable for everything except the clothing although it is likely one of a kind type pieces.

Pretty great place for records, especially for so far north. Always had really good experiences with the staff and there are usually some pretty good deals storewide. I really like how they distinguish artists that are from Minnesota. The jewelry and clothing is also really nice here too. A go-to place in Duluth!

Had never been to one of these stores and, given the weird name, was not expecting much. Turned out to be a GREAT store with lots of records, incense without that overwhelming smell of burning too much of it, some great clothes, and my wife found an Auric Blend perfume shes been looking for everywhere. The staff was very friendly, the store was clean. Great experience.

Been coming here since I was young. Live in Minneapolis now but I always try to stop by and see whats up when Im back in town. Almost exactly the same set up as then. Its where I developed my love of music. Every town needs a record shop for the youth of today. The used record selection is usually pretty grim but they do have a decent new selection, I always seem to find something that Ive never seen in the Twin Cities.

A selection of music not quite as wide as the one in Minneapolis, but still a great selection. The vibe is cool and casual. Besides music theres a wide incense selection and some lovely (if a little pricey) clothing.

Always been a favorite stop of mine! Changed a lot since I was there last...but the people were friendly and helpful as always!

I always have loved the Fetus, but I always have the problem where I go in and spend at least $100 in my head within the first 5 minutes of being there, so I can never stay long. But if youre in Duluth (or Minneapolis) you cant go wrong.

Friendly eclectic place where you can Pick and burn your own mix CDs. The atmosphere is cool, and a little hippie which made me wonder why they offered soy candles along side traditional wax candles. -1 start for not sticking with your vibe.

This place is the best..great cd/vinyl selection..decent little glass/pipe selection..go into this place every time I come past!

The staff is very chill and friendly. They have a lot of really cool items here. Its always fun to stop in and explore for a while. Id say its a tad pricey. A bit of a tourist trap. And dont forget to check all your bags at the counter. Thats a slight inconvenience.

The Electric Fetus is a great local record shop! They have rows and rows of albums and CDs. They also have some clothing, accessories, incense, and other miscellaneous stuff. Definitely worth a stop if youre shopping along Superior Street.

Decent pricing clean store and I have been to record stores all over the world. Its really cold outside in Duluth today but nothing compared to the frosty attitude at the cash. Sterile, cold and uninterested and basically sent the message just give me your money and get out of here.And you wonder why people buy online .

Ehhh alright. Way too hippie of a vibe. Could do without the incense. Staff wasnt friendly at all. Selection was OK, but lacking in some big name artists. Was hoping for more of a Tower Records feel. Overall disappointing... Maybe theyre reaching their niche though. Thats just not me!

Kids and wife loved shopping, store doesnt cater to the Dads that shop with, theres no restroom, and only one chair(for dad to wait at). Ill be steering away from this shop if this dad can help it in the future.

Let me tell you folx about the incredible experience I had here. The second we walked in, we were very warmly welcomed by the lady at the register, and she pointed me to someone that helped me find exactly what I was looking for. As we were checking out my son decided they wanted a little water toy to keep them busy on the car ride home. I instantly said no as we would not be able to get water into before we started the trek back to the Twin Cities, the cashier, volunteered to fill it up for them, instantly making my childs day. We walked out of there so impressed with the amount of respect and service we received from everyone there. Just astounding.

If you looking for vinyl records this is the place to find your new and old artists. You can also buy record players here. Right now theres construction on superior street so no close parking so only walking, there are parking ramps with free 1 hour parking so there is that option. They also have preowned movies on Dvd and blu ray. Other things they have are games and silly socks and alot of other unique items . They also are dog friendly. The staff are super nice and helpful. Highly recommend going it is truly a must visit staple of duluth!!

No bathroom here. Buying a lot of vinyl with some other friends from out of town. Told by some not nice gal behind the counter that I had to go across the street to use a bathroom. How poor.. get on it . Thats no way to treat a paying customer. Maybe the transients but not customers.
