Officially my first and last visit to this service department. 120K service is $689, plus whatever service they want to request. I came looking to get my wipers blades rear and front changed, as well as an oil change. Service tech never actually showed the handout, just quoted what I thought was $69. They see a female and take advantage. RUN…don’t walk!! Don’t have your car serviced here. Appointment was scheduled at 8:30 am and 2 hours later I am still waiting. Smgdh. Oh and everyone waiting has tire issues, money hungry. It’s surprising that they never mentioned to replace a part of the vehicle that is actually broke (wiper pump). The absolute worst service I have ever had. I will never come here again. Sticking with BOB BELL BABY!!

Overall is was a decent experience. The salesman Sam is the reason I give a 4 star vs a 3 star. Very professional and courteous. Definitely ask to deal with Sam when you buy from them. Started from the internet sales lady Betty Franco and she directed me to one of the best sales guy Mr. Jacob. He find me exactly what I wanted. Once after that he was aggressive enough to match my pricing and with his effort I was able to close the deal same night. Mr. Jacob, Mr. Osama from finance with one other guy in the dealership were with us for another 2 hours after their office hours.Trade in was quiet quick and simple, please reach them out and they will help you find what you need. Absolutely amazing and it’s my first brand new car, I will love to buy more with them only.

Went in two separate times for manufacturer recalls. The first they took care of the first two issues the suspension recall installing a bracket and reprogrammed the ECU but ignored the trailing arms saying it only needed some coating to satisfy the recallAbout 2 months later one of my trailing arms broke leaving me to get it to the dealer for actual service which took 2 weeks without a rental while my car was in the shop and they only replaced the broken trailing arm leaving me to wonder when the second is going to break instead of replacing that one under the recall as well
Very first time doing business with them, Very friendly clean 👌waiting area. I drop my car off one day early so I didnt have to rush and by 10am it was ready. My appointment was for 1:45 today now that what I call great service!

I always enjoy taking my car for service to Thompson Hyundai because the customer service is exceptional, the waiting room is always clean and tidy and the bathroom are also clean and inviting to use. This may not seem like a lot to some people but for those of us who own our own businesses customer service, clean waiting area and clean bathrooms are what our clients are checking out when theyre waiting to be serviced.
I tried to get service here twice. The first time I had an appointment. When I went to check in the manager came forward to ask why I needed my transmission checked. When I told him he claimed it sounds like its something else. I told him to just do a diagnosis on the car anyway to see what it is and he continued to talk about the fact that its not what I suggested. I was confused and upset because I didnt understand why he was so stuck on convincing me that Im wrong rather than seeing whats wrong. I took that as if he didnt want my service. This was the beginning of summer. I went back today just to see if Id have a better experience. I had an appointment confirmed twice. I sent my boyfriend to check the car in and they claimed they didnt have an appointment under my name and to come back in 4 days. I hear you loud and clear this time. I will never come back. Theyre unprofessional and dont care about their African American customers.

Instead of going to our local dealership which is only a few miles from home,We went further away and drove to Thompson Hyundai to test drive/purchase a new vehicle on 4/2/2021 and was approached by a Mr. Abrams.... we test drove a Hyundai Kona and provided information to start the purchase process. They came back and said we should have no problem purchasing a vehicle. After a short period of time they came back again and said in addition to the pay stubs provided they needed bank statements. The bank statements were provided and we continued to wait. We were then asked to move to a waiting area while they continued to work with the financial institution and so the sales rep could assist other customers. A bit later Mr. Abrams said the financial institution needed the documents in hand to proceed and that he would be in touch with us by Saturday 4/3/2021 at the latest. It is now 4/18 and we have yet to hear from them.... we have since gone to another dealership and left several hours later with a brand new vehicle. I would never recommend Thompson to anyone looking to purchase a new vehicle.

The salesman was very pushes he insist on running my credit even though I told him I already been pre approved from my credit union so I let him because he informed me that I had a lot equality on my trade that no bank would take that offer unless I used that bank so that why agreed And he was only going to give only 200 dollars for my trade when Car Max already said 1000 dollars the same day he couldnt match it so my credit score come back and he came already with a written proposal for a 40 thousands dollars brand new car mean while I never even seen the vehicle and he asked me my budget at this point I was ready to go oh he never give me my keys from when there did appraisal asked for them several time he change the subject I was getting very upset so he finally pulled out his pocket i was livid could not believe this worst experience ever

Recently had some work done on my car. There was a problem with the communication when I came in for the oil change because I said I wanted to know what needed to be fixed before I go on a road trip. I was told everything was good but two days later received an email saying all my tires needed to be replaced, brake pads, and two filters. I was upset but Corey and Steve were very helpful through that and apologized. Even discounted my alignment for the inconvenience. The next weekend my vehicle started vibrating at 70 mph which meant the new tires needed to be rebalanced. They just took care of that today and my car is back in shape as it needs to be! Im happy to do business with the folks here as they definitely know how to talk care of their customers. Thanks to Sam for selling me the car in 2017 and thanks to everyone in the maintenance department for keeping it maintained!

They work hard for you and with you to give you the best possible deal that you can afford. They are a winning team, this includes the gentleman that helps you finalize everything to make sure all your insurance and paperwork benefits you to the max. Do not purchase a vehicle with Thompson. The minute they sell you a car their finance department stops answering their phone. And dont bother leaving a message because they wont return your call.
Not only has my mom had issues with the service department thankfully she stopped going there but now my stepfather has a issue with this exact same place. Not the service side but the dealership side. He purchased a new truck from Our Ourisman a few months ago and was owed money from his truck that he had traded in. My mom hand delivered the necessary paperwork to Ussamah Siddiqui and was told it should take no more than 60 days to receive the refund. Well just out of curiosity he called to check on the status of the refund and thankfully he did because he was asked to send the person listed above the exact same paperwork. In which he did. Verbally he was told he would try to expedite this process for him to receive payment by April 10th. I immediately suggested to start emailing these people because ANYTHING said Verbally will be later forgotten or I didnt say that. Tuesday 3/23 he emailed the paperwork requested and Friday he checked on the status of the refund because around April 2nd would be the 60th day as previously quoted to received the refund. On Friday 3/26 he was emailed back that he checked with the accounting department and was told cancelations are reported by the 10th of every month and they didnt have anything for March. And of course just like any other thing in the world due to covid cancelations have been delayed but next he says I WILL TRY TO FOLLOW-UP with you by the 10th of next month personally I think this is unprofessional I will try??? Also he said there is a person named Lindsey is the contact person for cancelation refunds. She has the access to be able to see when the money is distributed.

A horrible buying experience followed by inept service. When I took my car in for an oil change, they did not put my cabin air filter back correctly. There was a loud whistling sound coming from the dash. Upon inspection, they left the cabin filter door off and did not put the glove box stopper back on. My complementary oil changed ended up costing me $14, to replace the glove box stopper.
The lady that was working with us was great. The only thing I had an issue with is that I wasnt suppose to be meeting her when I got there. Also they really try to cut throat me on my trade in which I got from them. Lastly, they tried to sell me an suv that was leaking oil(somehow it past md state inspection). Id still go there but If I was anybody that didnt know about cars I would bring someone who does.

Corey Weimer addressed my concerns immediately. He went above and beyond to take full responsibility for the negative issues that occurred during my last service visit. In his defense, he was off for a few days and was unaware that things had gone wrong. As soon as he saw there was a problem, he responded professionally, quickly, and with the utmost respect for me as a customer. We discussed my concerns and he understood my frustration and the need to address things with his employess to avoid negative feedback in the future. He had my car picked up, provided me with a loaner, addressed the issues that needed to be handled, detailed my car, and returned it to me. Corey cares about the reputation of the service department. He cares about the customer and that their needs are important. I have the utmost respect for Corey Weimer and my salesman, Brian Thrift. Because of these two, I continue to deal at Thompson Hynudai and hope to continue that relationship in the future. A good service manager understands that its teamwork that makes the dream work...and I know Corey will make sure things are done right. This was the most convenient car buying experience ever. I got in touch with the internet sales manager Greg and we discussed pricing for a 2019 Mazda CX5. After exchanging some emails, he gave me the best price compared to other dealerships in my area. After finalizing prices, sales manager Patrick got me pre-approved for manufacturer financing at low APR for 5 years and kept the paperwork ready. I just walked in and dealt with Shawn, who was wonderful to work with. He made sure I was comfortable and kept me duely updated about each step of the buying experience. He threw in a 2 year oil change and tire rotation for free. Overall, everyone was pleasant, straightforward and honest to work with. I highly recommend working with Patrick, Greg and Shawn.

One month after purchasing my 2020 Elantra I had to call and submit an insurance claim,I just want to let you folks know that I dont think I should have to call down there and leave messages on three different peoples voice mail.Then have to come down and have someone to pull my information out of the computer. Thats not customer !Im already concerned than any other service needs are already going to be issue.we purchased this car for one because the dealership was close by for service, but this isnt service. They get you in that car and then they forget about you as soon as you go out that door.
I contacted Thompsons Hyundai regarding a new vehicle thru the internet. Betty Jo Franco the internet manager promptly sent me a note followed by Al Mccaffrey the sales manager whom sent me information regarding the vehicle promptly with no pressure. A few days later I met with Chris Bowen and purchased a new Sants Fe. Chris also was there to provide a service in a professional and ethical manner unlike many new car salespeople. The deal was quick with no pressure and a fair price. If you want to get a new car get a Thompson Deal! They are far above most dealers in the way they conduct business. I also had a chance to talk to Brian in Parts to get some aftermarket parts for the new vehicle and he provided the same 5 STAR service!!

I came to this dealership in an emergency because on my way to Virginia for my grandfather funeral, my car decided that it needed a crucial update. The service team there was welcoming and understanding. Im from NJ and go to my home dealership for all of my maintenance on my car. The team at Thompson reassured me that my car was in good hands, when they found out the issue in my car, they explained it to me and why my car acted in the manor it did. Then fixed it and got me back on the road so I wouldnt miss my Grandfather funeral.
We actually went there to buy a car. No one else was there buying but us. We looked at the cars outside and nobody would come out to help us. So we went in the building a lot of sales move around but not one asked if we needed help. I said youre lost you put a sale then they said can I help you. I said not now Im leaving. This place was unproffesional, and inconsiderate to the fact that i had to change plans to see the car they advertised (mini cooper s 2010, ps its still for sale and has a oil pump issue so theh lied about) after making a call to them saying this car is ready for you guys to come see it. The customer service was unprofessional as the manager speaked to me as a child as i wasted his time and not the other way around. I would highly recommend not giving this place a chance with any sales.

Chris Bowen was the sales person that I worked with in purchasing my new Hyundai. Hes very friendly, has a great sense of humor and very knowledgeable. I first came in looking to purchase the Santa Fe and test drove the vehicle, but left the dealership knowing it was something I wouldnt enjoy owning.Days later, after some research, I looked into the 2019 Hyundai Sonata Sport. Instead of contacting Chris and setting up an appointment, my wife and I drove over to Thompson Hyundai. We saw Chris as we were walking in the showroom. He recognized both of us, greeted us with his friendly smile and told him I wanted to test drive the Sonata. Chris took my information and gave us keys to the vehicle to test drive. During the test drive, I knew that this would be the car I wanted to purchase.The entire car purchase experience was great as there was no pressure or sneaky sales tactic. Called for the service department and the receptionist directed me to four different departments just to get someone to answer for over an hour and no one answered the phone. This is one of the worst displays of customer service that I have ever seen. The receptionist was helpful as far as to trying to get me to the right place but the Mazda building showed strong lack of customer support
Great quality service and the wait was faster than I expected. Especially for a Saturday. The waiting are was a nice size and was glad to see that there were even a few toys for my son to play with.The only thing I was disappointed about was that they dont wash your car with service.
Went in when it was time for my Mazdas oil change and tire rotation. They completed a thorough check of my car which included testing my battery. They rated my battery as 100%. My battery proceed to die a week later and had to get in replaced. Will not be returning here for car service any longer.Edit: I spoke to Corey who was very apologetic over the phone. Unfortunately when I called the dealership initially, their response was not nearly as nice or cordial. I will not be returning here regardless.
I had a poor experience at this location with the Finance director when I was looking to purchase a car in 2011. It did NOT leave me with good thoughts of Thompson Hyundai. My mechanic recommended that I go to this site for service. I was leery about bringing my car due to past history. I was pleasantly surprised. I will bring my car back for service in the future. Steven Jones along with the shuttle driver were very helpful on 10/11/19.

I was in and out of the garage in a reasonable amount of time. They gave me an estimated time which was longer than it took which was good. I felt like they were also respectful of my time too.
Never going back again!Unfortunately Ive given them 1 to many chances. They have a very rude service advisor Steve his attitude is HORRIBLE. I made a review about him and his poor customer service and things from there went DOWNHILL with my car. My car is a 2017 the next time I took my car there I was told that my car tires looks like I purchased 3 new and 1 used tire that was weird because I bought 4 new tires from NTB and they were under warranty they came back and said they had the wrong car. Unfortunately I should have listened to my instinct and not taken my car after that but I did. My air stopped working and I was scheduled for a oil change and it cost me 259.99 for them to check to see what was wrong with my air. I my service slip it says they checked this issue for 1.5 hours but I watched the technician bring my keys come back to the service advisor about 40 mins after my car went back to be checked and to have the oil change. This service advisor Tom let my keys sit to make up for that 1.5 hours that was on the paperwork. Only for the service advisor to tell me in order to fix it is gonna cost me 1050.00 before my review about Steve my every time I went there all I ever needed done was the routine services after my review each service after that its been something even bogus things starting with my tires. Lesson learned for me though. Ill never have another service done at THOMPSON HYUNDAI!!! My insurance company sent me somewhere else to see why the air wasnt working and they gave my insurance an appraisal for 360.00
Very friendly and professional service department. The initial problem was all covered by the warranty and they provided a free loaner vehicle while mine was being repaired. I also had two maintenance items done while I was there. I have been buying new vehicles at Thompsons since 1988 and will continue to make them my dealership of choice!
Very pleased that my vehicle was still under factory warranty for a new clutch. Needed brakes only had the vehicle 3 months but was given a good explanation as to the standards that they need to pass for certified used vehicle.
