Cute coffee shop, i had the best iced latte ever, friendly service.Always happy to support a small local business 👌🏻

This is the perfect coffee shop to sit down and actually spend time in! Sitting on the very edge of downtown Dunedin, it is full of charm and fun. Tükrō is fashioned out of an old house, so there’s a huge front yard/ patio where you can sit, as well as indoor seating with wifi and charging outlets. I literally spent at least 3-4 hours here getting work done.The workers were so nice and personable- I could hear either the manager or owner chatting with his employees about how to make different drinks and it was in such a kind way just to make sure they were up to speed, rather than teaching down at them. I was impressed with how they handled everything.My flat white was just how I like it- strong and smooth. I also splurged and got a homemade chocolate s’mores pop tart and boy was that good. Crumbly, chocolatey, and delicious. One of the workers also said they outsource all of their pastries from local bakeries and businesses that they are partnered with- so cool! I seriously enjoyed Tükrō so much and will definitely come back!

Found this little coffee shop from reading reviews of course, and it lived up to the hype. Dunedin is a cute and quaint small town and the coffee shop fits in perfectly. Clean and charming home turned into friendly bistro. Had an iced butterscotch latte and it was delish - High quality coffee with good flavor. Barista’s were friendly and even the bathroom was cute! Highly recommend.

Tukro is a great little coffee shop off the main street in downtown Dunedin. The staff was really friendly and the prices were great. I went in on a Saturday morning and they were busy but it didnt feel like it. I was able to quickly get coffee and then sat on the front porch to enjoy it. I will definitely be back, this place awesome.

Wow! In town for the day and borrowed my friends bike to come here. Wanted some chai tea and breakfast. LOVED the atmosphere! The chai tea was standard but the gallette was amazing! Also got a chocolate chip cookie to go and I’ve very excited about it. Highly recommend!

Im sooo glad I searched for a good coffee shop because Turko came through heavy. Went with a cold brew to counter the heat and it was perfection and exactly what I needed. Super cozy vibes, staff is helpful and friendly and the coffee choices are top notch.. Ill definitely be seeing you again tomorrow.

I just had the best coffee experience ever! I was even lucky enough to meet Dominick, the owner. You can tell he has put his heart and soul into making this the best it can be. If you’ve ever had egg bites from Starbucks, get out of there! The egg bites at Tukro are made fresh and out of this world!!But aside from all that, you’re not going to find a specialty coffee shop like this anywhere in the area. I did my research😉. They are the only place anywhere around here that features Counter Culture coffee. The atmosphere is inviting, open and laid-back. It has a “homey“ feel like my parent’s house. There is a nice courtyard out front that is completely shaded and active with people relaxing, or working remotely from their computers. My girlfriend was with me, and she saw a few people that she knew, so we were able to say hi and catch up. It was just the coolest vibe I’ve ever seen in a coffee shop. Definitely worth checking out!….I think my triple espresso is kicking in!

Tukro is filled with friendly locals, skilled baristas, and serves the best coffee in the area. They also have pastries that you can not refuse. Really, those pastries fly off the shelves! Any drink you get will be crafted with care and leave you happy - Ive tried them all. The shop has a very cozy vibe and is a place you can go to work, hang out, or have a meeting.This coffee shop is a real gem to people who understand that good coffee takes time and this staff works very hard. I have been going for over a year and I can attest that I have never had a bad experience. Even IF there was an off moment (rare) they were willing to fix it no problem.Tukro is definitely a must visit in Dunedin and for any real coffee lover it should make your regular cafe rotation.

Adorable coffee shop and great coffee. Super friendly staff.The only thing I’m a little disappointed in is the fact that your coffee shop is still using all disposable cups. Almost all restaurants and coffee shops have resumed using their reusable dishes in the area.Coffee shops create so much waste and little shops like this who used to do better should resume doing better.Covid can’t be used as an excuse anymore when you no longer require staff or customers to wear masks in your shop (which I completely agree with) so please get back to using your reusable mugs 😊

Coffee shop was really cute and staff was very kind. Lots of house-made flavors. I had a snickerdoodle latte which was the perfect amount of flavor and very good. Lost a star because I was hopeful for a real coffeehouse experience with poured art based on other pics, but instead just got a paper cup with the milk carelessly dumped on top. So, spot on for flavor, but my coffee snobbery makes me pull a star for lack of even attempting art.Edit: thanks for the kind reply. I understand the craziness of the industry. It took me a long time to get art correct! Its certainly not something that can be learned quickly and the staff was all very kind and welcoming! (Theyll get there with art). Hope to try it again in the future; atmosphere and flavors were great!

This is the best coffee shop in the area. Their coffee is gourmet and of high quality. The pasties are at that same standard. My wife and I live an hour away and at least a couple times a month try and make it to this area to enjoy their coffee. Another great aspect about the coffee shop is the area that its in. There are tons of small shops and activities to enjoy that can keep you busy for hours. They also have a Airbnb on the top floor you can look into. I highly recommend this place.

Wonderful atmosphere, lovely decor, excellent service and delicious coffee and treats! Their nitro cold brew was first-rate, and the pumpkin spice cake had a beautiful and delicate presentation and tasted fantastic.Their display case includes a wide variety of beautiful vegan options. I was skeptical of the location as we were walking there. Its just far enough off the beaten path that I wasnt sure it was there - but it is!Great coffee, wonderful owners.Absolutely beautiful garden area to bask in the sun and shade.The pollinator gardens are such a great idea!

Stopped in here for the first time today on a tip from the owner of Dunedin Bike Tours.Love, love, love the vibe, patio and the friendly staff!I highly recommend a Cold Brew with Café Shakerato in it. Two separate things on the menu..I put them together.Also left with some pastries for breakfast in the morning. Ill be back!

Finally getting over to TüKrō Coffee to meet Dominick and check out the shop. Ive watched this place since they started working on the building and attending coffee roasting school. Their drinks and pastries are simply heavenly. The rose cardamom latte is not to be believed! The staff is friendly and attentive. You MUST go check them out ASAP!

I am long overdue in writing a FIVE star review for TuKro Coffee. This wonderful place has been my go-to coffee shop in Dunedin since it opened last year. The care they take in preparing their espresso drinks has made this the best tasting espresso I have had since visiting Rome, Italy in 2017.This coffee shop uses Counterculture Coffee beans. The only way Counterculture Coffee allows shop owners to use their beans is by training the owners & baristas how to properly grind & weigh their espresso beans. I have learned that being off by even a gram, can make the difference of having a bitter, or sour, espresso drink. TuKro Coffee takes pride in their craft, and I have always had a smooth, enjoyable, espresso drink.I have had the pleasure of bringing family & friends to TuKro, and even the most coffee snobbiest of them (even more than me-lol), have had nothing but rave reviews for their beverages. A few have even bought beans to take home with them. It was fun to watch their faces as they take their first sips, and say how they dont need to add sugar or a sweetener, because their espresso is so smooth.The owners, and the baristas, as I mentioned above, take pride in their craft. This includes creating latte art even on their takeaway orders (see pics). While hardly necessary on to-go orders, since many will never remove the lids, it is a perfect attention to detail. Another awesome perk at TuKro Coffee, is that they get their pastries from a local bakery. Many of these are gluten free and vegan. All I know is that they taste delicious.Finally, over the past year, my wife and I have become friends with the owners. All of the staff take the time to learn your name if you are a regular, are always engaging to everyone, and greet you with a smile. Honestly, this is the best coffee shop I have ever had the pleasure to be a regular at. Great espresso drinks, great people.Oh...one more thing: the 2nd floor of TuKro Coffee is a charming 1br/1ba Airbnb called Kro Haus. My wife and I stayed their for our anniversary in January, when we decided to take a staycation and be tourists in our hometown for a long weekend. It was such a comfortable place to stay. A bonus is that a coffee and pastry are included daily with your stay. Be sure to check it out.

This interesting shop is just below a bed and breakfast from what I understand. Nice little shop with great coffee and drink choices, and they dont burn the coffee.My ONLY complaint is: For a coffee shop in Dunedin, how can you NOT have Irish cream as a flavour?!

The picture of rose latte on google attracted me to try this place out. Its cute little place. I ordered the rose latte and the lady gave me the drink without the rose petals. I asked for it and she was unhappy and seemed unwillingly adding it into the drink. Isnt the drink supposed to be look pretty too? Especially i wanted to take pictures to show my friends. It did taste good though. The jasmine rose cake is very pretty but the matcha cream is bit too sweet.

This is my new favorite coffee shop in Dunedin. It’s out of an old house in downtown. It has been remodeled so well and you feel at home there. Everyone is so nice and friendly, and it’s honest to god quality coffee. I didn’t even get a picture because I drank it so fast LOL.

Very cute and the service was lovely. They got my name on my order without me telling it. They made the drink quickly and also had the cutest atmosphere. Very homey and peaceful.I got the liquid tirimisu which was a lot smaller than I thought it would be but it was so delicious and satisfying. A lovely little dessert in a cup without being as overly sugary as a real tirimisu. Fantastic place.

Coffee as an art done scientifically, tastes exceptional every time. ☕And the baked goods are a perfect accompaniment 😍Months later Im still coming weekly for the great coffee, this is a Cortado with almond milk.

Excellent coffee (Im talking real coffee, not DD) with a changing variety of original baked goods, which is a nice change from the standard muffin/bagel fare. Best of all is the well-shaded outdoor seating, including a traditional front porch, tables, and my fave, a sweet spot on the ground under a lovely shade tree.

Delicious flat white with almond milk. Lots of outdoor seating and very friendly staff. In close proximity to the Saturday market, with a large publix parking lot nearby.

Spicy Chai Latte, amazingly, beautiful flakey croissants and super yum ham and cheese croissants and spinach and feta croissants. Great ambiance. Wish they were closer to Plant City or Id live there!

Dominick is the man! Amazing coffee shop and well worth a visit. They really care about the ingredients and preparation and it shows. Dont even hesitate. If you want great coffee, you want Tukro!

This relatively recent addition to the Dunedin coffee scene has rapidly become a community hub, a place so many choose to meet up. The coffee is great and the staff very welcoming. It has a great layout inside so it customers can stay separate and there is a lovely space outside to sit and enjoy your drink.Right by a car park and only steps from the downtown shops, a good place to start your day in Dunedin (or to sit, sip, and wait while others browse the delights of the town)

Im so happy the area finally has a high quality coffee shop. Good prices, great staff, and good quality coffee. Not the best ive ever had but they definitely do a good job. The reason i gave it a 4/5 is because theres always a regular in there that just ruins my experience. I know its not necessarily the owners fault but its just a disappointing surprise when i walk through the door. I strongly urge you to get a cortado and one of their cold brew gelato floats.

It is probably one of the bestest coffee place that I have ever visited. The food is just amazing. I ordered the Tomato-Goat Cheese Gallete, which was something else altogether. We also ordered the golden kro and one other cold beverage which was decent.More than anything else, the employees and the owner are really amazing people, really helpful and sweet.Anyone who visits Dunedin, I would definitely recommend this place.On top of everything, they have designed the outlet phenomenally. All the space are interactive and built with nature in mind. There is this beautiful garden built besides. The chairs, sofas and all other seatings are fantastic.5/5 on all factors.

All around a great experience at this local coffee shop— the coffee was excellent and the fig scone was incredible. I got a rose and cardamom latte and my boyfriend got the blood orange pistachio tart which was one of the best pastries I’ve ever had.On top of it all, the staff was SO friendly and answered any questions. This place is above and beyond and I can’t wait to go back!

Hip and comfortable aesthetic, friendly and knowledgeable staff, perfect espresso and nitro cold brew drinks, the liquid tiramisu is an absolute must try for anyone who loves handcrafted espresso creations. 10/10 we will definitely be making this a required stop everytime we visit Dunedin .

A fantastic coffee shop near in Old Dunedin. The quality of the coffee and pastries is unmatched. They had a wide selection of coffee types and preparations. Their pastries are from a small baker and are outstanding.The shop is in an old house and has a fantastic feel. They did an excellent job with the decor and ambiance. There is outside seating available, including rocking chairs.

The pastries are always fresh and heat easily at home. The plants are healthy and well taken care of. This place is great! There are so many details and they’re all done right!

I recently bought a house not to far from Tukro but I knew it wasn’t going to feel like home without a local coffee shop to go to. Luckily a few months after moving in, Tukro opened their doors and I couldn’t be happier.Dominick and his team have created such a wonderful space that my wife and I look forward to going every weekend. The baristas call me by my name and they’re always there to greet you with a smile and a pleasant demeanor. Every time I’ve gone, Dominick has been out on the floor talking with customers, or he’ll jump behind the counter to help his team expedite when they get busy, and trust me, they can get busy. Every time we’ve gone, people seem happy to be there and even though the crowd may sometimes be large for the super cozy spot, we’ve never had to wait long for our order.Tukro exclusively brews Counter Culture coffee and it’s easily the smoothest, best tasting coffee in town. Plus they make their flavored syrups in house! Have you ever had a lavender latte that tasted like you took the Tide Pod challenge? Well not here! They managed to bring out the subtle flavor of lavender in my lavender cardamom latte, without any of the detergent taste that frequently accompanies lavender. Oh, and their pastries are no slouch either!TL;DR version is, I’m so happy that we finally have a quality coffee shop in Dunedin. Dominick, Tami and the rest of the Tukro team clearly know what they are doing and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for this awesome little coffee shop.

YES PLEASE! We drop by atleast once a day, often 2+ times. The coffee is delicious, the staff even better! It feels like family and we absolutely love it. The decor is quaint, mid century and really comfortable. The pastries are also so so good!

Love trying out new coffee shops to support small businesses but this one was such a waste of my $15. My husband got a cold brew that obviously wasnt brewed long enough, it tasted like water. I ordered a chai latte and it was so extremely spicy i couldnt even drink it and ended up having to throw it out. The only good part which is 1 star worth is the cookie was amazing. Expensive coffee and poor quality.

They are the only shop in town that serves Counter Culture Coffee, which is one of the best roasters in the country.
