Wow! Excellent coffee. The location is clean, crisp and simple.Their whole focus is on making great coffee. Period.Garrett is a total coffee need, and loves what he does.Great indoor and outdoor seating options to enjoy your cuppa.Edit: Weve been back twice and love this place. If I lived here, Id be a local. We met several locals while sitting and enjoying the coffee, and they swear by their coffee.
Best coffee around! This was one of the best coffees I’ve had in the area. We ordered 2 lates which were really good. The coffee is freshly ground and it’s super creamy. They use great ingredients and have a great machine. The coffee really was incredible. Only downside is that they don’t offer much food options, only a few pastries and overnight oats. But they were very friendly to guide us to a good bagel place nearby. Will definitely recommend for the best coffee around.
A cute little coffee spot. Great place to study. Free parking. Personnel is very friendly and professional. Coffee ☕, tea, iced drinks and anything else you get will be prepared with care. Recommended.
Great Coffee Shop just off the Trail!!I was looking for a coffee shop downtown that wasnt overly commercial, had good flavors, and a relaxing vibe I could get some work done at and this little shop did it all and then some! The barista knew his stuff and could make specialty coffees to the order (creative ones too). 10/10 recommend this place if you are looking for a chill coffee shop that delivers.
I love 9th bar. I make it a point to come multiple times when I’m visiting from Chicago. The iced latte is fantastic. Garrett, the barista, is a super friendly local fellow. The mellow, bohemian vibe and cool outdoor seating right by the Pinellas trail makes for a great coffee drinking environment. I’ve sampled the food and bakery items as well, which are excellent. This place rivals even the finest coffee shops in Chicago. One of Dunedin’s hidden gems. Never change.
Very nice coffee house. Friendly and a good atmosphere. Casual and kid friendly.I got the You get what you get which lets the barista make what ever they want. I ended up with a very nice cappuccino. I was impressed with the precision of weighing the grounds in each shot. I think I would get the same flavors everytime.
Ive checked out many coffee spots in the Dunedin area and this is hands down the BEST one! Coffee is so delicious, love the vibe and the people there. Check it out!
Dunedins hidden gem. Great quality coffee and cute quaint place sit n enjoy.
Give this place a try if you care about getting the most out of your coffee. Total coffee nerds (in the best way possible). The only place in the Tampa area that I found so far that takes the time to properly dial in their espresso. Thanks for the coffee education Garrett!
First time visiting this coffee shop and it definitely didn’t disappoint! Plenty of seating, all appropriately spaced out and appeared to be thoroughly cleaned. On top of that, the staff was very friendly, great at handling several orders, and quick to make my drink. Lastly took a chance with the cinnamon muffin to which I would HIGHLY recommend, it was incredible. Easily 5 stars, and I will be back for sure to try some different options!
Fantastic coffee. Fantastic service. Wifi is really fast if you need to work. Overall vibe of the place is great too.
I love this place! I’ve been here a few times and it’s a super friendly environment. This last time I had the pleasure of speaking with the barista Logan who made me a fantastic latte.
I got a nitro cold brew here. Although they are not my favorite thing, I tried one since it was a hot day. This was my favorite I’ve had, there wasn’t a bad after taste that most tend to leave.
LOVE this place. I get a dirty matcha almost every time and they are soooo delicious, plus they have maple syrup for a natural sweetener, YAY! Also when Im feeling naughty, they have thai tea! OMG. Muddy Thai? Are you kidding? One of the best ideas Ive seen so far. Love this place, their drinks, and their customer service is always outstanding. THANKS :)
Delicious drinks and blueberry muffin. Barista was friendly!
Super cute coffee shop next to all the bars in Dunedin! It’s kind of hidden, but you can also get to it right off of the Pinellas Trail! They have a variety of coffee and teas, but their cold brew is my absolute favorite! They have quaint seating inside and a wonderful, bright atmosphere. They also have outdoor seating as well. WiFi all around!
Great place to have a good coffee, amazing pastry and read.
Quaint little hipster coffee bar. They had oat milk and almond milk for vegans. They be their own chai tea and infuse it with simple syrup. The Muddy Chai (Chai latte with espresso) is excellent. The Barista was friendly and charming. I wish they had options for vegan treats but if you just want a local latte or Americano, you will enjoy the ambiance and service here.
I recently found this coffee bar and they have outstanding lattes! The staff makes it fun too.
Cute little place. Service was quick
This is, arguably, the best place for coffee in Dunedin, probably on the whole peninsular. You should try the cappuccino, especially if it’s being lovingly crafted by Rhett, a proper (non-hipster) barrister.Every time we’ve gone in there it’s busy but not rammed, people are sat working or reading, it’s not too noisy but it has a hubbub, helped by some very well chosen background music.A great find.
Amazing coffee, food, and atmosphere💯
Coolest coffee shop I have ever been to. Awesome people and even better coffee!
Disappointing experience although I was initially excited to see they had an Ethiopian pour over.Ordered my coffee and was advised it would take 5 minutes to make, which I expected and appreciated the warning.Sadly, 5 minutes turned into 20 and on top of that my cup was only 2/3 full. The almost 10 people behind me waited almost a half hour to order and get their coffee. Not surprisingly, some of them left before getting their drinks. Plus some of the peoples drinks were put in wrong but the second employee to walk in seemed to try and fix those orders.Hopefully, this was just a rough start to their morning with a staffing mix up but its my only experience so its all I have to review. Quite disappointing. My pour over was quite good but even at that it was smaller than I expected for the price.
Hot brewed Coffee was good 👍. Store interior nicely done. Exterior seating area could use some TLC.
Easily one of my favorite coffee shops. Great service, nice atmosphere, excellent coffee. If you like GOOD coffee this is the place to go.
A bit on the expensive side, but the coffee was great. And we really enjoyed ourselves in downtown Dunedin!
Wonderful atmosphere in this spacious coffee shop. The barista that served me was very knowledgeable and approachable, made the place feel like home. Seeing him interact with his patrons so fluidly made me want to come back to get to know him more. Not only that, but the coffee I was served was made from top notch beans and a free refill! Definitely coming back soon.
Awesome little coffee shop. Friendly staff, great coffe and delicious oats - müsli :)Check it out!
They are the best the manager not sure what his name is I forgot with glasses has helped make extratremendously
This is an absolutely darling coffee house, with a wonderful owner. Their iced mocha and cappuccinos are as good as you get in Italy. We also had their wonderful wild blueberry muffin. It truly makes a difference when using wild blueberries. 9th Bar is a fun place to hang out and read, etc. A great, comfortable couch to relax on. We truly enjoyed our visit.
Always good coffee, organic, on the bike trail and the people who work there are so friendly. I enjoy this place every time I take my bike on the trail. Id get my coffee more often if I lived closer. Highly recommended!
It’s good! My chai tea latte was REALLY sweet and the muffin was eh but otherwise I loved everything else. Great little spot to get some work done or just pop in for a coffee. The staff was so nice, the girl I talked to offered me some advice about the area since I’m new. I’d love to go back and try their coffee since I’ve heard great things.
For the most expensive coffee bar in town, one would think you could water your plants!!! I have been here twice and both times the Pothos plants that are about the easiest things to take care of are wilted and dying. The first time I said something to the barista and he informed me he did not care. No one wants to look at dehydrated dying plants in your business so I’m hoping this review will save them. It also brings into question the quality of care of washing the dishes or anything else really. Seriously, water your plants. It’s part of your image.Good coffee! Very expensive
Very cool local vibe. I had an iced coffee and it was excellent. Easy access from the Pinellas trail. There is a bike rack over to the right of the front entrance.
EXCELLENT AS USUAL
Definitely my favorite place to go for coffee in the Tampa Bay area. Their ingredients are fresh, organic and local and you can taste the difference for sure. Plus the ambiance is great; has a real cool, comfortable vibe and the people are super warm and friendly.
Sublime fresh ground coffee blend - super smooth, full taste, no bitterness. Ful breakfast options for full meals. Super friendly baristas.
Nice local place off the main road. The atmosphere is great, but the cold brew I got was just.... ok, nothing more. I didnt go back to try the hot coffees, so no insight into those. If youre looking for a really good cold brew on a hot day, this isnt my first choice.
Worst cold brew Ive ever had. They advertise they have food. Four options of weird sandwiches is not food. The egg was worse than microwave eggs and overall everything is bland. No parking. Literally tons of better options in the area. Staff was nice thats about it.
Great coffee and service. Nice little place to hang out. Really close to other spots. I think I have fallen in love with Dunedin! So much to do within walking distance.
Absolutely incredible coffee. Baristas know their stuff. Located right on the pinellas trail.
Been going off and on for 3 years... coffee quality wavers from good to mediocre although the baristas are great and food is god awful. Owner is abrasive, rude and disrespectful and we’ve had to actually tailor our coffee stops around his schedule.
Great local coffee bar! This is one of my favorite places to get coffee. I only wish that they were open later.
Great food and great service! Im not a coffee drinker, but all the coffee drinkers I know LOVE the coffee here. And they have great tea options for me!
Really nice place. Owners super cool. I love the changes they have done over the years. Im not a fan of oatmeal but they have me hooked on theirs.
This place is one of many hidden gems that make downtown Dunedin so great. I recently had the pleasure of visiting 9th Bar Coffee and will definitely be returning soon!
One of those places that locals know about and hopes it stays low key because weve been waiting forever but of course the place is going to be super popular because of how great the food, coffee, and staff are. Keep an eye on that chef he does limited releases of his food making sure each dish is at its maximum potential and potentially selling out before you even get there.
Awesome place. They have ample seating and WiFi! They clearly care about and know about coffee. The staff was very friendly. Personally wish they had a darker roast available but the Columbia roast was still very delicious! You need to go!
Best latte Ive ever had!! We were pretty new to town when we first started coming to 9th bar. It became a weekly ritual very quickly. I always feel welcome when I walk through the door and I get Cheers flashbacks as everyone knows my name. Also you really cant beat the quality of coffee. I normally drown my coffee in cream and sugar, not when I order a cup here. I drink my latte with just a dash of their homemade simple syrup and it is truly dreamy!!
A great little coffee shop with easy access off of the pinellas trail. They have a great outdoor seating area with lots of great coffee and tea options. Dont forget your helmet for a discount.
Awesome food and coffee. Omar (proprietor) is truly an artist and takes his craft seriously. Worth going out of your way to visit. Rare gem of a spot
Great coffee & espresso drinks. Theyll do pour over too if you ask. My wife had a first rate cappuccino and yogurt bowl, I had a Sidamo pour over with granola bowl. That was almost an hour ago and the wonderful flavor of the natural process Ethiopian coffee still lingers ever so slightly. First rate.
I had some questions about coffee makers - very helpful knowledgeable and friendly. And in my opinion they make the best latte in town.
Decent coffee... The coffee shop itself has no personality. Way overpriced. Recommend Sandpipers for great coffee and a good price.
Friendly barista, efficient service, and the most delicious cappuccino I have ever had. It was flavorful and had a delicious depth of flavor. The inside is very clean and very cool to hang out in.
A great little coffee shop! Seemed a little sketchy at first but after we walked in it has a great ambiance. Some of the best coffee Ive had! Good scones too! Cute, hipster. Definatly come and grab a cup, you wont regret it.
I live nearby and used to get their coffee every day . The coffee is good but the place is run by a bunch of lazy liberal millenniums, Who don’t wanna do their job, never pick up the phone & always have the Uber eats app turned off because they’re too lazy to move a finger. Also they randomly close the shop 20 to 30 minutes earlier every Sunday and Saturday so you can’t believe they’re ours whatsoever . I think the owner needs to really look of who they hire There.
Great place to get a great cup of coffee or espresso drink. Sizes and prices are just right. Love the cortado. 9th bar knows whats up!
Best coffee in town, period. Great service, the coffee is out of this world. It tastes so good I dont even need sweeteners. Its just a wonderful place.
Cool place, friendly people. Even opened up on Thanksgiving to help their patrons start the holiday.
Great little spot! Order the Junk Mail 2.0 breakfast sandwich if you’re getting food.
Great coffee, kinda has a start up vibe if your into that. Baristas are super nice.
Brooke is amazing at making any drink you’d like! Highly recommend this place!
We go here all the time. Its the best coffee around. I love their iced almond milk latte. We used to drive from Clearwater for 9th Bar coffee and now we just moved to Dunedin and its so close we love it. The place is super cool inside and everyone who works there is really into coffee.
Awesome coffee! Great service! You get what you pay for and I highly recommend the blueberry muffins.
When I am in town I stay in Clearwater. But I make the drive to Dunedin just to get this coffee. The quality is exactly what I am looking for when it comes to good coffee. The knowledgeable and well serviced staff are an extra perk.
Dunedin is the closest thing the county has to a small town. So for us to finally get a coffee shop with experienced baristas, an amazing roaster (Buddy Brew in Tampa), and a delightful space to hangout in, its like a dream come true. Omar and Courtney are great people and really enjoy what they do. The prices are comparable to most shops in town, but the skill is what sets their coffee apart. So if you want a great cup, but dont wanna look all over, stop by 9th bar; the wait for Dunedins coffee shop is over
Cute BUT seriously the worst cold brew I have ever had. It was sour!
Love, love, loooooooove this place. Coffee is too notch. Put Starbucks to shame 100%. Its seriously just amazing coffee.Dont get me started on their breakfast. Im addicted to their avocado toast. Ive also had their breakfast sandwich and its sooooo good.Seriously such a great local spot. If you need a coffee fix and youre in the area dont bother going anywhere else.
Rocco is the best barista Ive ever had. The owners are the nicest people and go out of their way every time to make sure things are great. And the coffee...omg the coffee! Its the best :)
Good lattes! Nice little place hidden in Dunedin.
Best coffee joint in town. I love to come here and get some work done. All the staff are awesome.
Great coffee rhett is da best
Visiting the area and wanted some coffee and a snack, waited in line for 20 minutes and barely moved before I decided to walk out. Only one person working behind the counter on a busy morning? With a pounding lack of caffeine headache and the loud atmosphere in there due to the small space, I had to leave. Coffee is something you shouldnt have to wait for 30 mins.
Food is Starbucks quality, espresso drinks are good but one of the most expensive places I’ve been to. Really cute shop.
Good place to grab breakfast & a little pick me Up in the morning or just a quick cup of Joe & a quick bit in the afternoon.
Cozy location with friendly staff and great coffee. Highly recommended.
Best coffee in Dunedin
Great place. but will take them long time to make our order
Coffee was decent and atmosphere was great. I am a sucker for small coffee shops . If you are a stumptown coffee lover like I am you will leave wanting more out of the coffee they serve. I only had espresso not drip so I cannot attest to that.Food choices are available but lacking. Their blueberry muffin is delicious. This is a place to keep an eye on. Something this area deff needs and will embrace as it grows.
Tasty espresso. My barista took the time to dial.it in. Thank you!
Great find for awesome espresso drinks. Cool atmosphere with good music and enough seating to chill or get some work done.
