October UPDATE: I rented my unit July 2021 (3 months ago). Ive been paying $136.00 per month. On Friday I received a notice, As a month to month rental provider, our rates are reviewed and adjusted depending on current market conditions. As a result, we are writing to let you know that effective 11/08/2021, your monthly rate will increase to $194.00. A $58.00 hike in 3 months? This is insane. Im in process of writing a letter to the MN Attorney Generals Office. Something about this doesnt seem right. Rent with extreme caution. Or dont rent at all!

Kristian was awesome to say the least, there were computer issues but he stayed on the phone with me thru the whole process which was super nice since I wanted to make sure we could get in today! He was very helpful and patient! Glad I chose Extra Space Storage, looking forward to a successful lease! Will leave another review once I’ve seen the unit!

The facility is really clean and well maintained. Kristian is great to work with and has gone the extra mile to address my questions/concerns. I would absolutely recommend Extra Space Storage to anyone looking for a storage unit.

Kristian was so helpful at all hours of the day & made my experience one of the best Ive ever had with a storage facility, if I were to need it again Im definitely coming back here from now on. The facility was clean, they have dollys for your convenience & not to mention the accessible garage! 10/10 recommended.

Extra Space indeed a fine place to find... The store operations at 4095 Nichols rd. The Manager is very professional. Business done well with country side demeanor. I am saying polite. On the way of checking out this establishment. I was taken care with quick efficiency. Zero surprises and and of all thinks besides discounted rewards of the day the process was smooth effective & prompt. Even when i decided on a up grade. It only took a moment of my time. Simply put I was in a great mood. Then i find that upgraded size of 10x10 was the price of most other storages shoe box ideal. Thanks so much for a huge sigh of relief and a grateful client. I think locking in for a year is prudent in fact. Thank you Extra Space Storage. Like Al said. Space and your time is all relative to your location....spend your time wisely shop here....

The Nicols Road, Eagan, MN location of Extra Space Storage is impressive -- large, clean, and well managed. We had a couple of face-to-face meetings with Kristian who clearly likes his job and is very good at it. He is helpful, has the customers interest at heart, and anticipates items we had not considered. I also had a great phone conversation with Lisa regarding the move-in paperwork. She was pleasant and professional, too. I recommend them without hesitation.

No public restroom, their staff is rude and and unprofessional. Prices are too high. They get you on a low introductory price and the jack it way up afterwards. Go somewhere else. There is a Acorn not to much further down the word.

My experience was great! I asked a lot of questions and Kristian was very helpful. I personally do not want to deal with anyone else but him. A friend/co worker suggested I use extra storage space, the rates are inexpensive compared to others., The customer service is remarkable! They make you feel very important. I could go on and on but you get the point. Thanks for having great customer service and hiring wonderful people like Kristian. I would definitely recommend this place for your storage needs.

Absolute horrible experience if I could give no star rating I would but it will not let me, met my sister here after driving 1hr plus from River falls, Wi to get my mothers antique dresser to restore upon arrival I beat her here but bay door was ( and still is) wide open as were the sliding doors to get into the lockers the alarm has been going off we have been here 25 plus minutes not one person showed up. My sister called the emergency assistant line nobody picked up and also just kept restarting the automated prompt over and over I cant believe that with one broken bay door out of service, one bay door wide open and both entrance doors also open that we have had bzero luck when needing immediate assistance . Ive only heard great things about this facility but i guess hearing and then first hand witnessing will now be forming a whole new opinion.

Manager Kristian is very helpful, professional and great to work with. Online, no-contact rental was super quick and easy. Heated, covered indoor unload area was wonderful during brutal cold weather. Well-lit hallways. Secure walls, door and ceiling. 10ft ceilings in the units. Carts available to move items to/from your unit. Everything is kept very clean.

Rates *were* reasonable, now close to double what they were. They cited COVID-19, availability, etc. One of the two bay doors were broken the majority of the time I was there. Since theres no other entry to the building except for the walkthrough, you could be forced to wait or unload in the weather. It should be top priority to keep doors running, but I never got the impression it was. Facilities are clean, but no bathroom or trash dumpster.

Kristian Smith was very nice, thorough and gave me a tour of the facility, showed me a couple different sizes of the storage units available. Explained everything and when I decided which unit I wanted, Kristian completed the computer work and sent them to my email. The facility was very clean and quiet. I must say that I like the lock system and it is much better than putting a lock 🔒 on and hoping it stays on without breaking.Thank you,Sue Berg

We visited Extra Space Storage here in Eagan on 10/10.We were looking for a space to store outdoor furniture to make our transition smoother when we are in the process of home buying/selling this winter.We were greeted with Lisa, the assistant store manager. She is kind, friendly, and takes great pride in the service she provides to her customers. It was very easy to connect with her like she is a long-term friend of ours. She gave us a tour of the facility which is quite spacious, beautiful, and clean! She did an excellent job explaining the contracts, locks, access to building etc.Definitely recommend choosing this location for your storage needs.

Securing a unit was very easy...I did it all online. When we arrived for the first time, everything was ready as promised & described in the emails. It was very easy to enter and find the unit. There is a large garage that you can pull into and large elevators to help with transport if you have a unit on floor 2 or 3. The facility was also very clean and well-lit. So far, we are very happy with our experience.

When I arrived at the facility there was a worker outside cleaning up the parking lot. Both people working that day were very nice and helped direct me to where I needed to go. One of them even helped me push the pallet to the storage locker it needed to go in. There is easy access in and out of the facility and 2 indoor spaces to move your stuff to and from the storage lockers. Thanks again for the help 😊 I would recommend this place to meet your storage needs.

Extra Space Storage is great all around! The Customer service is excellent, I worked with Christian. The facility is clean, easy to access, and the units are great! I have a 10X10. I highly recommend ESS, for the ease of obtaining the unit, great customer service, and for the affordable cost! ESS is a new facility in the area, and its also the most affordable! The storage units are new. The staff is solution oriented and provided great customer service. This units are located close to both minneapolis and St. Paul. I highly recommend this place.

My husband and I are looking to sell our home later this year and have looked at a few storage facilities in Eagan. I have to say this is the cleanest facility we have been in and probably the easiest to navigate. This location will at the top of our list when we are ready to move

Clean facility thats easy to get in and out of. Elevators are quick for access to my 2nd floor unit. There are always moving carts there to make moving items to and from storage units faster. Good and friendly customer service.

Everything about my experience has been really positive and easy. If youre looking for a storage unit, I highly recommend this! It was easy to lease a unit, easy to coordinate a well guided tour, really nice and clean facility with garage to pull into to unload.

The Manger who was filling in from a st paul location was nice. Lots of information and helpful. I question his move to Minnesota with this -13 degree weather coming but wish him the best lol.

This is a new building and is very clean. It is very convenient and close to my home for quick access. The renting process was very easy and I was able to complete the process quickly. They also had plenty of different options available for me to look at to determine what I needed for space.

The people at the facility are very nice. The facility is kept very clean and is easy to get to. The two very small complaints I would have are that there are only 2 loading spaces and there is not a place to throw anything away.
