Our movers did a job. They moved our stuff from A house to B house. We couldnt have done it ourselves. Its a sad day when you pay a premium price and the workers are slow, incompetent, non-stop complainers dont listen to instruction and really dont seem to care to your stuff or property. They left their trash in 2 yards . Seriously. Couldnt find a trash bi apparently. The office lady was nice and she called often to hear the progress but she didnt do anything about my concerns. Its a sad day when just barely good enough is all you get. Like I said before, we could not have done it ourselves. I was not happy at all with the experience. They left our furniture as directed in the new garage. I hope when we set it in the new house (were getting flooring installed) its not ripped, cracked or otherwise damaged.

Just beware when having your antique or valuables moved.This company was very professional in organizing our cross county move and loading our furniture from our WI home. But, what happened in the multi-transfers we will never know. Somehow our Steinway piano was dropped hard enough to have had one of the steel wheels jammed into the floorboard and hard enough to have separated the piano and cracked the floorboard. We were buying a home and had to have the furniture delivered to a storage unit until our home was move-in ready. We were present when the furniture and piano were delivered to the storage unit and at that time it was pointed out that one of the wheels had fallen off?But, what about all the brown paper wrapped damaged furniture? We discovered why other furniture items were wrapped in paper only when we finally got the items into into our home and unwrapped them. Damaged or broken items with numerous gashes, and deep scratches. So the insurance you pay, will only cover the trucking part. Once its unloaded, reloaded, or placed in a storage facility the insurance will not cover damages or repairs. The company couldnt account for where the damages occurred either, because it was loaded and reloaded so many times. Of the 10+ moves that we have made across country during our academic careers, only THIS company has damages any of our our belongings. So, if you plan to move your piano or any furniture of value, do not use this company!!

Smooth experience of moving from the get go. Desire was great. Re-did the estimate after we got rid of many items. Janet was professional and caring to keep checking how things are going. I used Piepho to arrange an inter-state move that involved packing, loading, long term storage, transportation, delivery and furniture assembly. I was very pleased with their service every step of the way. I have moved 16 times, nationally and internationally. This has been the easiest and most peasant experience of all. The packers, drivers, and muscle were all friendly, hard working, experienced, clean and neat. We are still unpacking but so far there has been only trivial damage and nothing seems to be missing! Packing an moving a 5 BR home 1 level home to a 4 BR 3 story home about 2 hours away. The packing process went well. All of my things were packed well (mostly kitchen), and nothing was broke. The move went smoothly. The moving process was a bit more difficult due to 3 story home; however, it still went well. This is my second move with Piepho and would use them again.

Piepho moving was awesome. I hired them to move me out the day before I closed on my home sale and purchase. They were very accommodating to my needs to have the timing perfect for my move. The movers were great and took very good care of my belongings. It was very hot in early June 2021, about 98 degrees the afternoon they delivered me and the 3 guys who were there did a great job of getting everything off the truck and in the home. Hats off to them for their efficiency on that hot of a day!

The movers packed our valuables, taking great care with my antique China, lamps, and breakables. They were efficient and very communicative. With an out of state move it was really great to have the driver there at both ends to be one main contact person. On the delivery end the movers again were efficient, were tolerant of changes in where to place items and were very attentive to the environment making sure not to damage walls, floors, etc. I was also very impressed by their knowledge and skills of disassembling and reassembling some complex furniture items. We would definitely use them again!

We made a cross country move from MN to AZ. I packed everything and had Pheipo load transport and unload. Other than a small hiccup on date of transport everything was smooth. Great crews and driver and excellent sales staff Would use again and highly recommend

From the moment I contacted them they were very responsive and helpful. They were kind enough to move the date when we had to move the location of my mother’s move to a different assisted living facility from what we had initially planned. All of the staff from scheduling department to the actual movers were very professional, courteous, and helpful. I would definitely use them again and will be recommending them to all of my family and friends.

Customer service throughout the process was great with responding and asking questions we would not have thought of while preparing. Janet took care of us very well. Waleed was our driver and was in daily contact during our 1,800 mile move. He was a true professional.

The mover (Chris) showed up when he said he would and had enough workers to get the job done. Chris delivered on time and was efficient. He was easy to communicate with. I heard of moving nightmares, but this went as seamless as possible.

Mom had an antique china cabinet; carefully moved with no damage. Senior facility did not have a large elevator, so they had to carry her big couch up the stairs. Wonderful, polite movers.

We used Piepho to move from Minnesota to South Carolina. I wanted a mover that was associated with a national brand (Allied, United, North American, etc.), but small enough to offer personalized service. Piepho fit the bill better than we expected! From the initial estimate (they were one of the few movers who still offered in-person estimates during Covid - how can you provide an accurate estimate if you dont see the customers stuff in person?), to helping pack us out of our previous home, to storage for 60 days (longer than expected, as we were moving to a new construction home), to final delivery, every step in the process was performed by friendly, professional, communicative personnel. Desiree was our estimator, Janet Huyck our moving rep, who was more than helpful when we had to push out delivery; we had a great local crew who packed us out from the Twin Cities. Chris was the driver who, with local hired help, unloaded us once we finally closed in South Carolina. On both ends, crews arrived on time and worked quickly.Were not fully unpacked as of this posting, but it appears everything arrived and nothing is broken or damaged! What else do you want from a mover?Was Piepho the cheapest? No, not from the quotes we got. They werent the most expensive, either. But if you value peace of mind, Id give Piepho a shot. Moving is stressful enough without worrying if your stuff is going to be damaged in transit or held hostage by an unscrupulous moving company. If youre in Minnesota or Wisconsin, moving into that area or locally in that area, youre cheating yourself if you dont get an estimate from Piepho. Highly recommended!!!

From our first contact with Desiree who helped us throughout the processong of setting up our move we knew we would be able to answer any questions or just seek advice on the little things that seem so big until someone walks you through them. Then we started working with Janet for the rest of the planning and moving. Her advice was very helpful on things like insuring higher value items or the timing of the arrival of our goods. Our move was small as we only shipped a smaller load but we were treated as if we filled up the entire moving van ourselves. One other national van company dropped us once they saw our small load. Allied Piepho gave us the best of tge scale of a national company and tge caring of a small local one. We have a collection of flutes and paintings that they spent great time and effort to ship safely and when it arrived everything was in good condition. The service st the end of the trip was as good as the beginning. We recommend Allied Piepho to anyone who doesnt need any added stress of a long distance move.

After my mom got swindled by a shady moving company we had three days to find a mover for a move from Minnesota to Arizona. I made a call to Allied Van Lines. Janet at Piepho Moving and Storage was very helpful and was able to help us out of what could have been a nightmare with my moms lease being up in three days and not having a mover, even though we had hired, and paid, the shady mover almost a year before.That same day we were able to do a virtual walkthrough of my moms apartment so they could get an idea of the the size of the load. The estimate was fair and they were able to work with us with such short notice.The movers that came in to move her apartment were professional and even packed two lamps for us at no extra charge. The movers that delivered my moms belongings were just as professional and careful with our items. We have found nothing damaged in the move.Janet called us during every stage of the move and kept us informed and asked how everything was going.As an added bonus my moms items were delivered one week ahead of when we were told to expect them.I would not hesitate to recommend anyone to Piepho Moving and Storage.

We were very impressed with the timely and thorough moving quote, the check-ins along the way, the care given to our items, the friendly and cooperative work of the movers on both ends of the trips and the experience as a whole. The office (Janet) kept us informed every step of the way. The driver (Walid) coordinated everything and kept us involved in all steps. We asked for an extra stop for a few of our items and this was done perfectly. The only concern we have is that we are having to tighten some of the bolts on items that were taken apart for the move. My move details changed multiple times but they were very helpful along the way. I loved the video process where I walked through the house to get an estimate. Made it easy and they saw stuff I wouldn’t have remembered! They coordinated everything and checked in multiple times leading up to my move day and followed up on that day. The movers arrived early and finished my entire move out of a house and into a 4th floor apartment in 4.5 hours! Super friendly and professional and went the extra mile in loading up my storage room etc. Piepho came recommended to me by several family members who used them for cross country as well as local. I have already recommended them to a co-worker.

Even though there was a little miscommunication regarding the delivery date the pick up and delivery of our belongings went perfectly. It was an efficient, friendly, quick and careful process. The continual update phone calls from Janet Hyuck were appreciated and in this day and age of minimal customer service happily unexpected!

The pickup went great but the delivery driver was horrible! He showed up late w/out a helper so brought his girlfriend. I helped pull in boxes because he was so busy screaming at her. Broke 5 items. - would NOT recommend their service!

The driver and local staff were good. The labeling on the boxes could have had a little more detail. This way we wouldnt be looking for something and its in a box that you wouldnt expect it in. This is minor though as the move out of our house was as good as a person can expect. The move into our new one we had one of the local crew not show up. But the driver was on top of this and did all he could to make sure this went as planned. I would use Piepho Moving & Storage again (through Allied).

I dont know what come to a professional packers mind when they take personal items to use as packing material. For example, a handmade, hand sewn quilt used like a moving pad to wrap speakers. Or..a towel taped around a fragile item as a moving pad. When you remove the tape you ruin the towel. Or even my bedspread taped around a piece of pottery now the bed spread is ruined. Paid huge money for packing, storage and moving. Will never use Allied again. What happens when you nest lap shades? The one on the inside is ruined. So you have to buy a new pair. Horrible packing. I suggest you look elsewhere. Just some of the issues I experienced.

We recently used Piepho Moving & Storage for our move from Minneapolis to Rochester. Everything from the in-home estimate to the day of was great! They were very thorough in providing an accurate estimate, so there were no surprises. Our move coordinator made sure we had all the information necessary to make for a smooth move day. We actually had a Minneapolis-based crew load us and then a Rochester-based crew unload us which allowed for a quicker move. Each mover was courteous, quick, and attentive! Best moving experience weve ever had! We have recently completed a move from MN to WA state. Paul gave a very accurate weight estimate. Veronica coordinated the move beautifully, and communicated well throughout the entire experience. The true stars of this move were our packers, movers and unloaders. Led by Kevin in MN, Dave, Greg and Mike worked efficiently and expertly. In a day they had our 4 bedroom home packed. They loaded the next day and Kevin delivered our things to WA within a week of the pack. The unload was complete in hours. They were all professional and hard working. Our things arrived in great shape. I trusted them and they delivered. I would definitely use this company again and highly recommend them.

The moving coordinator and planners were very helpful prior to the actual move. We greatly appreciated the free boxes I picked up at their warehouse. The movers were very professional and were very careful with our possessions. The packing and the delivery went very well everything was done according to the timetable.

Piepho did a wonderful job moving my parents out of their house and into an apartment. Paul came over and gave us a quote that we thought was very reasonable. On the day of the move, Steve came, along with Bill and Stretch. They very carefully packed up my parents dishes, keepsakes, furniture, art work, drawers and cupboards. Steve was very patient when I (many times) said, Oh yeah, would you pack up this (closet, picture, desk, etc.), too? He had such a positive attitude and said when he comes into a home, it’s like he is moving his own Grandma. All of the men were very professional, very cordial, and did all the packing and unpacking with great efficiency. This was a temporary move for my parents and we have to move them in six months. I already ask them if they would help with that move as well. Thank you so much!

For the most part we had a good experience. Did not like that they called the day before and said we needed 4 movers at twice the price verses 2 movers in order to be out of our home at the designated time. That should have been communicated way before the day before the move. We had hired 2 although they did recommend 3 at the time so I told them we would do the 3 and they did send a 4th person which I did not have to pay for. I would have liked at least a heads up more than just the day before.

Good experience with Piepho moving from Minneapolis to Kansas City. Paul was good at communicating on the upfront from the survey process to guaranteeing a quote once he gave it. Lizzie was outstanding in terms of communicating everything from there. The movers themselves were on time vs. when they said they would be for pack/load and delivery to final destination. Only issue I had was that they forgot bed boxes when packing up our mattresses but quickly got them once the stuff was taken to the warehouse. Overall, a good experience moving given some of the crazy stories you hear out there.

My stuff was ail broken ! I got my household goods delivered today. I had over 20 containers dented and broken and crushed. The driver showed up with only 2 skinny workers to unload 10k pounds. Veronica works the phones at this company told me all drivers only use 2 unloaders which is a lie.My stuff was packed up with 6 workers and a driver. She seemed like she couldnt careless and talked smart to me on the phone and basically said oh well, Very unprofessional . Im very unhappy with this company. I paid for my household goods to be delivered intact, they were not. I would advise you to go with another shipping company unless you want your goods broken like me !

The guys were very friendly and courteous and very professional. I needed 4 pieces of heavy furniture moved from my second floor condo to the garage. The made it look easy, and there was not a mark on the furniture or wall(s). I would recommend this company in a heartbeat, and will definitely use them again.

The Piepho people are true Professionals with excellent communications and support throughout all phases of the move, prep, paperwork, load, transport, and delivery. Their pricing was very competitive. Everything was delivered intact with no visible damage although some boxes were a bit squished around the edges. If we move again, we will definitely be calling Piepho.For anyone contemplating a move, here is some general advice: Self packing saves money but may affect insurance coverage. Be sure to clarify with with your mover. For truly delicate items, add packing material and fill fully to the top of the box. For the most fragile of these, mark the box with bold instructions: “Place nothing on top” or similar.

Tammy, in the office, was always checking in on the moving progress and timeframe. They were always on time and worked a full 2 days to complete the work. I would defiantly recommend Piepho Moving.

I used Piepho Moving & Storage for an out of state relocation. The team was hired to pack, load and move my items. I was extremely pleased with their work. Led by Ronnie Olson, the team was punctual, worked fast and took great care of my items. I had some awkward angels the team had to work around to get furniture in and out of my place and they did so without a scratch. The care even went so far as Ronnie driving one of my plants back with him to ensure it survived the move. Overall my experience was great and they lessen the stress of what is traditionally a stressful experience. Ive moved a lot over the years and this was by far my best experience.

The movers showed up extremely late and it was a very rough start. However, the crew was amazing once they finally arrived! Super efficient and hard working. Additionally they worked with me on a fair solution for their tardiness and my sales rep even came to help the guys finish up!

Great job. They moved us from Minneapolis to Richmond, Va. They were on time, efficient, friendly and helpful. Able to help us with our small questions as they moved us out, took some stuff we thought maybe would be a problem, etc. Ron (our driver) was a great communicator and problem solver and put us at ease -- we felt confident our stuff was in good hands. Also shout-out to the helpers -- cant remember name of person in Mpls. :(, but he was excellent, as was Chris in Richmond.Piepho, if youd like the driver number for Ron, contact me through a PM/DM -- Id be happy to give it you.
