Conveniently located, gated access, friendly helpful staff, clean storage units - all for a decent price.Im a repeat customer -- having rented storage space from them in the past, and again now just today.

Your staff has always been professional and helpful at every turn and we have appreciated it these last several years. It has been a pleasure to work with them. However, we have retired and have permanently moved out of the area. This makes it unnecessary to hold anything more in our unit.

Decent prices, big units. Wish it were open past 9pm though. At least for accessing your pod.

Our son was unexpectedly informed that his place of rental was being sold. He was on a trip out of state so we needed to quickly step in and move him out. Town Centre Self Storage to the rescue! We called the night before and had a perfect (and affordable) spot ready for us the next morning. With the exception of the third party company, who took our call after hours and stated there wasnt a difference in price for climate control, everything was quick, easy and smooth - and, Town Centre graciously waived the price difference due to the miscommunication. We would recommend and use in the future.

We had a great experience with Town Centre Self Storage. We utilized their services for over 10 years and only ended our partnership because we needed to downsize office space and resources. We would highly recommend!

The lack of compassion fom management during a crisis situation with my family was devastating. Everything else about the place was fine except for the fact that they did not have even 1 garbage can on the property for customer use.

After 31 years we said goodbye to our family home in Eagan. We had accumulated a lot of great memories over the years and needed a temporary spot to store them while we were building our retirement home in the western suburbs. I was very pleased with the services provided by Town Centre Self Storage. It provided a safe, clean, and convenient place to store our possessions during our time of transition. Rental was fine, staff is good. Issue is I reserved an appliance dolly and blankets online. I get to the site to pick up my rental and then I’m informed they have no dollys or blankets. It does me no good on the day of a move to find out they do not have the supplies I requested. I would expect a call ahead of time so I could make other arrangements for this. Poor customer service on that part. Also the van was dirty with muddy animal paws on the seat and dash which also indicates that they do not sanitize the rentals between reservation - that is very unacceptable at this time.

The woman who worked here parked right in front of the swing gate with a no parking sign right next to it. The swing gate is only opened on the right side. So we cant get our truck inside. When we tried to make a way to get inside,(the office was closed), then this woman came out (guess she is the guard?). Yelled at us what are you doing to my car?! I said you are blocking the gate and parked next to the no parking sign. She again :I work here! you could scratch my car! You should get a code to open the gate! Then she just left. The Uhaul app and even the sign on the gate (can see in the picture) told me just remove the pin and open the gate and I never recieved any codes. I returned my truck on the parking lot outside. Even if there is code stuff, is this the reason Uhaul staff can park their car right next to no parking sign to block the gate? I cant believe there is actual person so shameless accusing others for her own fault. Awful experience.

If you come here in the winter, be prepared to bring your own shovel and ice melt to make it safely into your unit. There was an inch of ice on the sidewalk and landing leading into the facility, and it was clear that no one was going to make an effort to clear it. Most of the outdoor units also had a couple of inches of snow piled outside their doors, and the drive itself was still icy in many patches.There are no dollies or moving carts, so make sure you either bring your own or are okay with using rusted Rainbow Foods shopping carts, which apparently they have deemed acceptable to move your stuff around, since theyre scattered everywhere. We also rented a U-Haul from them along with a dolly and furniture cart, but they dont actually have any. Like another reviewer said, it would have been nice to be told this in advance, since I assume they can see the reservations coming in.The staff were nice and the facility was clean, but I think the lack of attention to detail and safety measures for winter conditions really was the source of my frustration. I would not choose this place in the future knowing what I know now.

They show a price online than when you get there they hit you with a $36 admin fee higher than anyone else in town. They also add a climate control $11+ fee even though you already have to pay extra for a CC unit......really shady. At least the other places only hide the insurance price which is annoying in itself.

Website said the storage area was 5X5, I didnt measure when there but based on my measuring of what I tried to fit in it, that isnt true. The website didnt mention they charge an additional 42% of the storage fee for climate control, whether you want climate control or not. The website says that the additional fees are $0, but when you get there is they charge 130% of a months rent in administration fees.Basically expect them to bait and switch you on everything you can think of, and then on things you didnt even think of.

I have used multiple storage lockers at the Eagan Town Centre Self Storage site over the years and have always been satisfied with the cleanliness, security and ease of use.However, over the past year Ive gone from three storage lockers down to one. Each time Ive had the pleasure to work with Cheryl Rivas when closing out a unit or if I have a question. Let me just say that Cheryl makes the Eagan site superior to any other sites out there. Cheryl knows the business inside and out, yet she always seems to treat people like they are what matters most. We all know this is rare these days and that alone makes it worth coming here. Cheryl has a great personality with a pay it forward sense of kindness.If I was only rating the facility and the service I would of easily given 5 stars. However, the Mayflower system as a whole tends to increase rates on a random basis that is frustrating to me.

Cheryl was so helpful and explained everything very clearly. She gave me all the information I needed. It was a good experience and I know it is a safe and secure facility. Thank you.

I read the reviews prior to making the decision to rent a storage locker (negative AND positive ones). I can honestly say my experience has been nothing but positive! Ive not experienced any of the negative things mentioned in the past reviews, and I can sincerely tell people to disregard the negative reviews--They have GREAT Customer service! Cheryl Rivas, the employee that Ive dealt with since deciding to rent a storage locker, has always been extremely friendly, professional, and upfront about costs and policies. All my questions and concerns have been answered and I never felt like just another customer. Even though this will be the last month I need storage space, I would NOT hesitate to go back! Especially if Cheryl Rivas is the person holding down the front gates and keeping it real! Im a happy customer and I highly recommend Town Centre Self Storage!

I dont have anything stored here, but I drive past every day. Please unbury your fire hydrant. Heaven forbid if your facilities burn and people lose their items because of your lack of care to ensure the hydrant is clear for the fire department.

If I could give 0 stars I would. 20min before my pickup time, they called to cancel my truck reservation. No help, no apology, just a phone call and click. It was probably the busiest moving day for the year so far. I struggled to find a rental. I finally found a place in St. Paul that had a truck. It cost me 4x the original truck rental price from Budget because it was last minute.

I would give this organization zero or negative stars if that were posssible. Initially my experience was good. The rate ($86.00 per month) was decent for a basic outside unit. The staff seemed helpful and friendly on move in. I paid my rental well in advance of when they were due for three (3) months. Just before the 3rd months payment was due I received an email message stating there had been an error in the monthly rate that Id been quoted. The message stated that rate I had was a move in rate and was only for the first month. Im VERY meticulous and I specifically confirmed that the rate quoted would be the ongoing monthly rate. The I received stated that the management was unilaterally raising my monthly rental rate from $86.00 to $132.00, a $46.00 (nearly a 54%) monthly rate increase. When I told the staff that I had been quoted $86.00 month and that why I rented from them, the management was dismissive. I also told the onsite that I knew and individual who was renting a climate controlled unit for considerably less than the $132.00 monthly rate they were increasing me to. Anyone considering doing business with this company should RUN as fast as you can to any other company! Look at the reviews! They speak for themselves. They ARE NOT customer oriented at all! There are many other good, honest and reputable storage and truck rental facilities within several miles of Town Centre Self Storage. Do yourself, and your wallet a favor and give this company a pass. You wont regret it! Good luck!

Rented for a few months in order to get my possessions close to where I was moving. Gave my two week notice for moving out and then got charged for another month, when I contacted about that they informed me that they would reimburse me for the charge. Called a week later as the reimbursement did not happen and was told that when I vacate I pay for an additional month. Not pleased with the discrepancies, lack of integrity and most of all unhappy with having to call multiple times and leave multiple messages just in order to be told that they are keeping my money for a storage unit that I no longer have.*Update*I just found out I am having to pay for an additional month as well. Dont ever rent or use this facility or any other these products or storage facilities. They will take your money and like to your face.

Pretty Poor experience. I had to rent a storage unit for a few months while preparing to move. A few comments from my 2 months renting.-Security Gates were left open (because of a repair) for most of the time i rented. The site is located next to multi-unit housing (apartments ) so who knows if the cameras actually work, but I immediately saw this as a security risk (after the fact). So heads up there...Would be very easy to piggy back in..Gate takes forever to move up or down.- Site manager changes often, and really has no authority to do anything but take payments and print copies..- Poor Organization . I presented my move out notice well ahead of the 30 days, I was charged for an additional month after I moved out. I called several times before my move out to confirm we are all set and was given the Yes, you are all moved out, but still got billed. Had to dispute the charge with Amex because 3 weeks went buy without any action. Had to go directly to Mayflower properties and they finally called me back when I threatened a dispute. I got the response if the system would let me give you a credit I would, but I cant Classic. Needless to say our relationship didnt end well.Save yourself issues and dont rent here. If you do - make sure you use your credit card....or pay cash month to month.

Horrible experience. I rented two units while I was living in a smaller rental home for 14 months until we were able to buy our next house. I paid over $3000 over the course of that time for climate-controlled units yet when I moved out in July 2016, I discovered that my expensive pillow top mattress and bottom of wooden headboard had water damage, mildew and corner of unit was filled with mouse droppings. To buy a new mattress was less than my homeowners insurance deductible so I am out a sizable amount of money and storage center says they are not liable for ANY damages no matter the cause. If Im paying for climate controlled, I would expect water would be covered. Even front desk person said she had never seen mouse and water problems in a climate controlled unit, but regardless, they wouldnt reimburse anything. Do NOT use this company unless you dont care what happens to your things.

Helpful staff clean inside and outside

I dont know if there are others employed here...but ive only seen and dealt with one and Jessica was great. Really nice and sincerely did what she could to make an already stressful move...less stressful. As we all know moving can be very stressful. She usually ends the conversation with....if theres anything else I can do...let me know. You cant beat that for customer service bottom line. And pricing isnt bad at all. Gonna suggest this place when I can. Thanks Town Centre Storage!

Moving out of state can be very stressful, there are so many things to do and worry about. We didn’t want to worry about our personal belongings being safe and secure in storage while we searched for a home. After a lot of research, we decided to call Town Centre Self Storage. Still being out of state, we spoke with Marinda (the property manager). She was polite, friendly, reassuring, and very helpful. Talking with her really eased our fears, and we were confident that this would be the best storage facility for us.The storage unit was cleaned out and ready for us when we arrived. At first we had one storage unit, but we added a second storage unit. We used the smaller one for our garage items, and the larger one for our household items. During the winter months, Marinda would shovel snow from the entrance to our unit so we could easily get in. The grounds were always clean and well maintained. We could enter the security gate with our code anytime we needed to get into our storage unit. We never had an issue with security. It always felt safe and the entire area surrounding the storage facility felt like a safe residential area.Once a month we would come in and pay for our storage units. We mostly worked with Marinda. She was always pleasant, helpful, and efficient (as was her staff when she wasn’t there). It was amazing how many things she could do at once, remaining friendly, courteous, and organized.Various items were available for purchase in their office - things you might need in a pinch (boxes, locks, plastic covers, packing tape, etc.), We didn’t use credit cards, but we do know they accept credit cards.We highly recommend Town Centre Self Storage. Not only did we feel our personal belongings were safe and secure while we looked for our home, the customer service was A++.
