Three words: vanilla whiskey martini. It is exactly as good as it sounds. From what I understand, Main Street Coffee is known for martinis, and some of the other ones my coworkers got also sounded fantastic. This place has got some pretty fancy drinks.
Super hospitable and great coffee! This place is awesome and I will be back for sure. They let me post up with my computer, feed me awesome coffee, and was a great environment to get some work done. 10/10 would rec. to anyone in the area! P.S. the wifi is wicked fast!
Best espresso martini ever ! Great pizza’s too. Good vibe
Just started a job on Main St and my usual tea stop, Jiggers was closed. I went here and a large black, hot green tea was $6 with the tip. One tea bag. The price difference from a small to a large is for a few extra ounces of water. Nice looking place but way overpriced. That much would get you a full breakfast with free tea refills at most diners.
I lived above Main Street coffee for about a year and was in and out constantly. I worked 3rd shift so I saw the owner a lot when he would get here around 4am. Also was our landlord! But Mike who works behind the Coffee counter is THE MAN! Really quick at what he does and makes a perfect Latte. He knows his S*** about coffee! Very personable and nice! Love to have a quick conversation with him. If he’s not behind the counter he’s talking with the patrons! The way the sidewalk and painted and the interior to replicate a European cafe is awesome and it really sets a relaxing tone. There outdoor seating that has an awning over the tables and chairs Incase there a sporadic shower or it’s to warm and sunny. I highly recommends his place! High quality coffee and a great bar on the other side with perfectly made and tasty drinks!!
Well just great thats all it sums this place up perfectly. Staff was friendly and very accommodating I accidentally put nutmeg on my iced Carmel latte and didnt realize until a quarter of my drink was gone. We were sitting outside eating and I went in the tell the girl behind the counter. She instantly said I will make you another one and with a smile no attitude very rare these days (Kelsey was great). Definitely will be back here.
So...this place is really great! Im new to the area and have been exploring Main Street more and more. The outdoor area is so creative with all the colored drawings on the side walk. I ordered a Hibuscus Iced Tea and sat outside to enjoy. They allow you to have your dog with you(outside) which is really important to me. I enjoyed my delicious tea and an apple turnover.
Been a regular here for many years. Every time I visit my parents, I come here with a buddy or two, grab a nice coffee and desert, and just people watch and let the world slowly march by.Coffee in this place is awesome, taste very good, and desert is fresh daily. If available get the chocolate moose boom, my god it taste awesome.
Delicious food an coffee. Great little shop with an amazing interior feel and outdoor seating.
Good coffee and other drinks, good desserts, light snacks, warm and cozy decor inside, sidewalk tables in the shade outside... Very nice neighborhood cafe!
I went there this afternoon for lunch with my son and mother in law. The girl at the registers was rude and did not want to take an order so she asked the “cook” to do it and he wasn’t happy to do it and he had an attitude as well. When the “cook” brought our plates he kind of threw them on the table. The sandwiches were very small- like half the size you would expect. I had to go back in and get our own napkins. Overall not a good experience.
Wonderful atmosphere! Great food! Felt like I was back in Rome, Italy!
Amazing drinks, fun vibe. Cant wait to go back!
Best place for a nightcap! The Coconut Tequila Espresso martini is one of the best drinks in all of EG. TRY it!!!
They have home made syrups and I made my own combination. I had lavender coconut coffee and it was o e of the best coffees over ever had. Also the 2 people working there were very polite, super helpful and friendly and we even joked a little bit. Ill definitely be going back!
Good coffee nice little nook to study in.
I love this Cafe. Been visiting it since it was opened. My favourite coffee is the Milano. Nice sandwiches and bakery items available here as well. Perfect place to meet with a friend, date, or even just to do some homework. The cozy upstairs area with books and fireplace as well as the adjacent Tuscan styled bar makes this a gem in East Greenwich.
I really like this place! Coffee is amazing most the time the service is rewarding and beautiful. However my experience with the girl with black hair& blue eyes has been rough on countless occasions. She is either snappy and rude or she don’t even bother to look at you at all. It’s quite rude. I really think Main Street coffee should consider replacing.
Wonderful espresso martinis in the bar area. Great service and attention to customer needs. Clean and cozy. The coffee area has a nice sitting area by the fireplace.
The white chocolate iced latte taste exactly like a Dunkin donuts iced coffee extra extra, take from that what you will
Best espresso martini in RI:-)
Yummmy espresso martinis 🔥🔥🔥💙💙
The best expresso martini!
Bartenders are awesome. Gotta get an espresso martini, it’s a must.
We love Main Street Coffee!! They have awesome coffee, and awesome pasteries and bagels to add to your morning time routine. The spot to check out for sure when in East Greenwich. We are up, visiting from Savannah, GA; but originally from Rhode Island and Boston- and we are trying to get it out of our systems now before we go back south!A staple of Main St.
Really cool bartenders and staff.
This place sucks!! there are so many better places. don’t waste your time or money
This place is a hidden gem! In the warmer months, this is the place to enjoy a tea or a coffee outside and just people watch. However, the colder months is when this place really takes off. It has a warm inviting atmosphere and serves the best espresso martinis I’ve ever had. Here’s a pro tip. Order your espresso martini and head to the back and up the stairs to a cozy loft like area. Sit on a cozy leather couch by the fire and just relax.
Love the coffee and staff here! Great atmosphere.
Real coffee and a fresh bagel. Thats all I wanted. They exceeded my expectations. Ill be back to try the rest.
I felt very safe here. There was Lysol in the bathroom, hand sanitizing stations in multiple locations and I saw a barista go out and sanitize a table as soon as someone left. Vegan options available!!!
I feel like the place is losing its consistency. New people working almost every time. I order the same thing and it tastes different every time. Today my coffee was barely warm and tasted old.
Best expresso Martin ever
This is more of a rustic feel, with more Italian coffee type vibes. Not really specialty, but still unique. Loved my cappuccino, had a good kick. Nice staff too. They have coffee cocktails too which is pretty neat
Phenomenal cold brew coffee I had this morning. The quiche was fantastic too. Up until now, I had only been for espresso martinis, also phenomenal.
Great drinks!
Hands down the best bar in the neighborhood! Do yourself a favor and stop in for the best espresso martini around.Friendly staff, amazing drinks, and a great spot. We miss bringing the dog inside, but can still be found sitting outside with her frequently. The bar side often gets packed at night, which is really no surprise!
Been here so many times to get the best Cappuccino. Loved all their desserts.
This place looks nice and fun but don’t be fooled. The drinks are terrible, the service is almost non existing and the bouncers act like college kids that finally can drink without hiding in their moms basement after she falls asleep.
Absolutely delicious coffee and pastries! Best place to go for an expensive Irish coffee
Always good. Never disappointed
One of the best Coffee shops in the area. Quality food, service and aesthetics. The grilled chicken salad is top notch and the baristas are the best!
Its 5pm on a tuesday, and its closed.. no explanation on here, no one answering the phoneit says open until 1amvery confused / disappointed
Always worth the stop. Desserts are insane. Coffee is good. Unbeatable cozy atmosphere.
Martini Tuesday, all I really have to say. Great service, great drinks whether coffee or booze, and cool environment.
Love the fresh brewed espresso, Mel is awesome!
Very cool place. A great place to go to finish an evening with friends. The bar has some good drink specialties.
Decor is great and fun. Outdoor area on the main street is nice too. Lunch tasted good and prices were fair. Out door chairs could be more comfortable and coffee was a little weak, though the taste was pretty good.
Excellent Espresso Martinis!
The barista was so friendly and my drink was delicious. Loved the inside as well. Well done all around!!
They hire a construction person by the name of philip ficazzola to do unlicensed and unapproved work on the property. a complaint will be filled with the town.
Espresso martinis are hands-down the best Ive ever had but I would recommend having an option for chai latte that is dairy free.
This is by far the most comfortable cafe in RI. Ive been to numerous cafes from Smithfield to Westerly and this once has the best atmosphere and fireplace room.
Great coffee and fantastic martinis!Cute and cozy, you have to stop here is you are visiting Main St East Greenwich.
A cozy place with the friendliest staff and great vibes. One of my favorite places to grab a drink with friends and my dog. Best espresso martini Ive ever had!
Cute but when they open out up for the bar its like sardines trying to fight their easy to the front.
An enjoyable evening with excellent food and drink. Only disappointment was dessert (coconut cake was very dry), and the noise level (it was Friday evening to be fair) was a bit challenging. Antebellum is high on my list of go to restaurants when you want to impress someone.
I call this the hidden gem! You can literally have drinks and just relax. The coffee special drinks here are AMAZING!!!!!! And bartender was awesome!
Beat expresso martines ever
Relatively surly staff... Throw attitude if you order things they are out of. Quick solution might be to mention if youre out of something prior to orders. But getting the wrong thing and asking for the right order was responded with youre really going to waste that? Food and drinks are amazing and thus receive the stars.
Great martinis!! Small menu very good pizzaOver all great little place.Fire place in back little.art gallery
Probably the best cute little independent coffee shop Ive seen in some time. Perfect for meeting somebody for business or a date or any other purpose where conversation is the goal.
Whenever I am up in Rhode Island, I go here for my daily coffee fix. They have the best dirty vanilla chai!
I stopped in today to grab a latte and work on some emails. I like the atmosphere here it is very relaxing and I had a good time. Highly recommended.
Drinks and baked goods are delicious. Love the atmosphere! Can get a bit noisy on Friday and Saturday nights
I really like their menu and the way they serve
For a latte and a conversation this is a great place to meet a colleague or best friend.
Jordan makes the best drinks!
Nice place for a coffee while strolling main street. What looks like delicious sweets in the case. Being diabetic I cant say if they are as tasty as they look
Best spresso martinis in the state, hands down. The only thing theyre known for.
Awesome coffee, they make the best lattes anywhere, better than Starbucks (still love SB too though). The interior is pretty great, has a homey feel to it. The service was decent.
My rating is solely based on the coffee, which was some of the worst coffee my boyfriend and I have ever had. The coffee was weak and the flavors for specialty drink were flavorless and tasted nothing like the flavors ordered. However, it was busy, in a great location, and the martini and food menus looked appetizing. Would never go back for coffee. Quite disappointed.
The best bar/coffee shop in East Greenwich. There is a reason they aquired a title of Best neighborhood bar in Rhode Island. The amazing and famous Martini espressos with the long list of flavors (go with the Blueberry) may have been a big factor but also...-Great people, friendly staff and relaxed vibe make this a great spot to swing through.-Also, the coffee shop side has some very tasty treats and a selection of sandwhiches and paninis. Last visit I had an Italian Pesto sandwich on Rye with an iced coffee and Cannoli (about $17.00) and had no complaint.Last call is 12:45
I was disappointed that my breakfast sandwich was microwaved and my large iced coffee was weak and in a cup most consider a medium. Not good at all unfortunately. It is a cute relaxing atmosphere but that didnt help the quality of my sandwich. Dunkins breakfast sandwiches are actually better believe it or not. Too bad this is the case because I always try to support local business :(
VEGAN OPTIONS! I have been here a couple of times and I love the environment and the staff but all it’s missing is some vegan friendly alternatives! I want my espresso martini with some almond milk Baileys 😊
The best espresso martinis
Live it!! Drinks are awesome!! Atmosphere is unique and the vibe is so energizing!! Highly recommend!!
This place is great. The mixed drinks and good. The bartenders enjoy making well crafted cocktails and the music is awesome
Love this place, great coffee in the morning and great place at night. Pricey but worth it.
Favorite place.... Love the espresso martinia
Whenever Im back visiting Rhode Island its one of my go-to cafes. Great coffee and liquored ones if you desire as well.
Great low key cocktail spot in the Toscana side. Coffee, baked goods, etc are excellent also.
Very good coffee and cocktails, but so you dont show up and get turned away like we did, its 21+ after 10 PM.Youre advertized as a coffee shop and cafe, there should be some indication.
Fresh food. Cozy
Place to meet people always good capochino
The coffee is good. The food is alright. The service is terrible. 2 of 3 times was given the wrong order. This latest time the girl taking our order took it down correctly, even though she was only half paying attention and still a bit rude, but the girl who made the order gave me something totally different. Even though it was written down on a slip of paper she brought with her to the kitchen. Go figure. SO, go there for coffee, sure, but dont get food, and dont expect even a modicum of attentive customer service.
Lovely quaint place .A must do.
Beautifully painted walls and a quaint atmosphere with a fireplace lit in Winter and outdoor seating in the summer
