Shane Was amazing today I came in as a walk-in this morning with a car squealing I wasn’t sure if it was brakes or a belt I told Shane the information right away he was courteous and friendly he took my car in he came back and told me what it was he did not try to up charge me at all he just told me straight how it was and I appreciate it so much we worked it out so my car could be fixed today which was extremely amazing because I have a disabled son so I need to have transportation! My dad is a senior and needed his oil changed and a new tire. I’m always leery of places taking advantage of him because he doesn’t always hear well, but that wasn’t the case here. Manager Tony was amazing and thoroughly explained everything to him, and technician Matthew got the work completed in a quick and timely manner. Overall a great experience with awesome staff and wonderful service.

One of the worst experiences Ive ever had. Towed my vehicle out of there after 4 days of calling, promises, and no resolve... not even an estimate.. Went there on day 4 to talk in person and noticed my vehicle had 2 of the 4 tires halfway off a drive on lift! Terrifying

Boy has this place gone downhill since Tony left. Staff at front desk are rude, service is horrible. These clowns had my car for four days and still hadnt gotten to it, and never a phone call to update me. When I tried calling them, they claimed to be too busy to take my call but would get back to me in a timely manner. Again, they did not call. Ended up taking my car and going elsewhere. Will never return.

My first time going to Monro and I must say Tony was awesome!!!! He changed my converter and the price was very reasonable. So friendly and great with his customers. First off, if you ever have your car serviced at this particular MM location, you’ll totally understand why this place has a perfect 5 star average rating - out of over a THOUSAND reviews.I truly wasn’t expecting the phenomenal customer service I received, especially when going to a car repair place. I called earlier this morning and spoke with Tony, where I asked for an estimate for rear brakes and rotors for my car. He encouraged me to come in for a free inspection and ask for him by name, which I did. He is such a kind person - super friendly and personable! He took me out for a quick test drive after I described the issues I was having with my car, which is totally unheard of in my past experiences in dealing with mechanics. Usually they just have you drop the keys off and go about your business and then have you wait for them to call you with a rundown and estimate.This was my first time coming here and Tony treated me like a long time friend. He had me wait for a few min to get my car on the bay then brought me out to show me what was wrong, and to give his recommendations. He never once tried to sell/up sell me on anything, nor did he ever patronize me - which are two things I’m very familiar with when I normally go to a car place, especially since I’m a young woman.Then once my car was ready he reexplained the work that was done and assured me that me car would drive like it was brand new - AND IT DID! :) Thanks Tony! This is literally the best place to go if you need ANYTHING for your car. Tony is a life saver after my car wouldn’t turn on and it was towed over he made no hesitation in taking a look to let me know what was going on. He let my partner and I know that we had a busted alternator and was very quick in the way he handled the car. He is extremely professional and a jokester deff made this experience amazing and for a steal deal as well. You will never regret going there.

In all my years of getting my vehicles serviced I have yet to find anyone like Tony. Not only is he welcoming and friendly his knowledge of cars and fast service is amazing. From brakes and rotors to welding having pipes replaced and oil changes. Monroe has done it all and helped me to maintain my Infinity. Finally, a mechanic I can trust!Apart from fair prices and quality work, Tony is always up-front with me and provides detailed options and information about fixing my car. I feel like these guys are on my side, and only recommend what they would actually do if they were in my situation (many times that saves me money!). Also, these guys NEVER give me false assurances and they stand by their work and their estimates. This is so rare in mechanics!As for their work, you be the judge: I was hearing a weird noise from my brakes and took the car to another very highly-rated mechanic. 5 visits, $2000, and all new brakes and drums later... the noise was still there. Not to mention ever-increasing estimates and condescending comments implying I dont know anything about cars. Eventually they told me that my car was just old and I should get a new one. A few months later I took the car in to Tony and Shane for an oil change and asked them to have a look at the brakes if possible. Within an hour they were able to diagnose and fix the brake issue just based on hearing the noise and their extensive knowledge of my model car! So I would definitely say these guys are some of the best out there! Expert level for sure.It is worth mentioning that, after I explained my experience with the other mechanic to Tony, he did not disparage the other mechanic at all! He even assured me that the work they did (even though it was not right for my problem) was good. I appreciated his integrity on that.

I always go to this Monro in east Hartford. I have tried different locations and I always come back to the East Hartford one with Tony. Their services are amazing. I can call them with concerns and they would give me advise. Never had an issue with them. They are honest and clear when it comes to Vehicle issues and how to solve them as well as cost. The costumer service is exceptional. Even though I moved out of the area, I do not mind the drive to this specific location for my car services. Very satisfied Tony is amazing.

I made an appointment for an alignment here mainly due to convenient proximity to where I work. Turns out that I stumbled on a great shop with a lot of integrity! Tony, the shop manager, refused to charge me even after his mechanic spent time diagnosing more than an alignment issue. There was no hard sell on more work - just a recommendation that I take care of a suspension issue before having them do an alignment. I eventually brought my car back and they took care of my alignment. Im super happy with the results! Thanks!
