I have been going to this office for almost 20 years. I have always received the best service and care. The doctors never have you get something that isnt necessary. At my last appointment my eyes had changed a little. When I asked if I needed to get new glasses I was told it wasnt necessary, but if I wanted to update them it would be up to me. I would highly recommend Clarkson Eyesore, formerly Visioncare.

I think Ive been with you for 30+ years starting with Dr Riegel who imparted the high level of competency in your group. Then Dr Vincent continued that and added top notch customer service. PLUS, for lack of a better term, she added a happy factor to the culture where you all seem to enjoy your work and customers! Your office is always pleasant place.

After the change to Clarkson Eyecare, there have been several interactions that have raised customer service and professionalism concerns.1) Responsiveness. They do not answer phones or return voicemails in a prompt manner. When they do return calls and do not get you, they leave voicemails with very little information. Example. Called in to ask for prices for a specific item. Got a voicemail that says we have two options for that and didnt give me prices. Also at the end of the message that they are now closed. Why not leave me prices for both options?!? Not helpful.2) Professionalism. My last call with them they asked me for my payment info. After I gave it to them, they were about to hang up. Did not give me any other info. I had to ask how much they were going to charge me. The person on the phone did not know. I asked if they would be using my insurance on file first and they said they were unsure (my insurance covers the first $150 of my purchase). I told them to use my insurance, and then let me know how much I would be charged before they run it. Im supposedly going to get a call back before they run my card. Well see.Overall, I am not remotely satisfied. After I get my contacts from this place, I will not be going back. I will find another place that does business right and knows how to treat customers.

Great place! The staff was friendly and helpful. Dr. Shank was awesome and made sure I had no other questions. Just a great overall experience! Have not had an eye exam in years and the laid back atmosphere was very relaxing.

From start to finish, especially in the time of COVID, everything was friendly, professional, smooth and safe. Dr. Vincent is fantastic! She listened to my unusual situation of wanting to try contacts in various distances/combinations to determine future decisions for cataract surgery (and correct problem with first one) and had excellent on the ball knowledgeable effective suggestions - she totally got it. She is efficient but not rushed - i feel heard and my needs addressed. THANK YOU!!! Bonus - is personable and has a good sense of humor.

Dr. Shank-Lirones, the technician Dayna, and office personnel, Laura were very professional and friendly. Dr. Shank-Lirones and Dayna were thorough in the testing and examining phases. It is a very relaxing atmosphere for people who are anxious about their eye exams!

I liked the Optometrist I worked with, but had back to back unpleasant experiences with a staff person in the retail glasses area. I was hoping to have new lenses put in old frames, when i called to ask about it I was told it was not possible but because my lenses exam have expired, i was not given the opportunity to tell them my prescription has not changed in 10 years, really in the middle of a pandemic? I think this was the same person evolved in the previous unpleasantness, in that situation different employee was able to assist me, so I gave them another operutnity to hold my business by calling back and asking to speak to someone else. The person who answered the phone would not transfer me, as if the had no interest in a customer concern. Trying to spend locally but being driven into the arms of Costco, too bad.

Dr. Keiper is a great optometrist! She is very competent, she is friendly, and she explains things in a way that I can easily understand. The office is very well organized, the staff are friendly and helpful and in the days of COVID-19-I think they are on top of the game.I have been coming to Vision Care since I moved to East Lansing in 1986, and we have always been very satisfied with our eye care. I am also impressed with the way they keep expanding their technologies to provide the highest quality of eye care.As a primary care physician, I recommend VisionCare, and Dr. Keiper to my patients

The staff is always friendly and welcoming. I got a reminder text message to schedule my annual eye exam and when I called, I was able to get an appointment the very next day. Dr. Andrew White is awesome! He is always smiling and happy. I like his positive energy. He and the entire VisionCare team are on top of it! My visits are always enjoyable.

I’ve been a patient with VisionCare for a long time and after my visit today I will no longer be returning to them. I scheduled a 4pm to get my glasses adjusted and I arrived at 3:50. I walked up to the receptionist and told her what I was here for and she told me just to sign my name on the clipboard. I did and I went and sat in the waiting area. I waited and I waited. Then at 4:15 a gentlemen comes in walks up to the same receptionist and tells her he has a 4:15 appointment she tells him to go have a seat at the chair!! So at this point I get up and ask her if I need to reschedule my appointment as it was for 4 and their on to the next person like no one seen me sitting there waiting. I must say the lady who adjusted my glasses was very apologetic as she was not made aware that I was waiting and I told her it wasn’t her fault but I had spoken to the receptionist when I walked in so she was aware and yet I was not acknowledged.

Im an actual customer / patient here. No relations, not friends with anybody, ect. Everyone I talked to was very kind.The associate that helped me actually made me feel like they had my best interests at heart. They applied discounts through my insurance that I was unaware of being qualified for, nor did I ask for.I will be back.

I had Dr. Andrea Shank and she was one of the best eye doctors that I’ve had thus far. She went above and beyond to ensure that I was taken care of and helping me choose the best options for me without spending a fortune. She was willing to walk me through every step of the process. For a young college student who is new to dealing with insurance companies and doctors officers her help was greatly appreciated.

We found this place because they did the free infantsee program. After taking my 11 month old son, I myself switched. They did such a good job with me that my husband switched and now my whole family of 7 goes. Weve seen several doctors and have been pleased with all of them. Even with the one staff turnover we saw, the transition was extremely easy and the new doctor had reviewed the chart and it was a seamless appointment. I highly recommend.

Our family has been VisionCare patients since we moved to East Lansing. Both my children received their first glasses from VisionCare and the staff went out if their way to make it special for them.. The facilities are lovely, the doctors are knowledgeable and willing to explain and educate, and the staff are friendly and helpful. VisionCare also has an excellent selection of eye glasses to choose from and are extremely helpful with repairs and replacements.

We originally went here because they participate in the free eye exam for kids under 12 months. We had another optometrist that we werent happy with, but didnt have the time/energy/inclination to change. After taking my oldest son for that appointment, I was very impressed by their staffs abilities, how they treated customers, and the wait time. Since then my whole family has switched over, and Ive not been disappointed on any occasion--including picking out glasses, contact appointments, or even just stopping in to have them fix my glasses (once even a pair that wasnt purchased there!).
