This place is always fill with students and paying customers. One male employee stated the students can camp here until closing shift, without as a paying customer. The sign says otherwise to limited seating capacity for others. The table wasnt clean, the place is always fill with students. There are occasions I had to sit on high chair or outside table. I rather spend my money else where to dine in.

This was my first visit here, and as they say first times the charm. I honestly have no complaints with this place. Staff was friendly and the food was unexpectedly good. LOVE the warm bread for the sandwiches. Prices were good for the fare, not pricey by any means. Give it a try, you wont be disappointed

This place is AMAZING. NEVER HAD HAD A SANDWICH AS GOOD AS THIS! The ec area has great cooks. Literally cant stop eating it! Havent sat there in a while but the order to pickup is amazing. Never stop what your doing. I appreciate the employee. Thank you thank you thank you a million time

Whenever I am visiting Eau Claire I always go here for a coffee. They do sell one the best coffee in the town. They have a big seating place and its fairly busy during the morning/afternoon. The employees are friendly and nice. They sell sandwiches, soup, cookies and muffins. I just wished they had more variety of breakfast menu though. But beside that its a good place to chill.

Very poor experience with a kid who identified himself in the evening as the manager on duty. Came to the booth screaming at me for whatever childish reason. E-mailed manager from their website - No reply... Poor staff quality and training. Its my money. Spend it anywhere I wish. But, not at the Aquatic Cafe - Poor Management, and over priced anyway -

Context: My order was simply a flavored latte and a cinnamon roll. I tried three different coffee shops in downtown Eau Claire over the course of 3 days, and Acoustic Cafe feel to the bottom of the list. The latte flavoring was very artificial, and the cinnamon roll was very dry. Ive heard that the sandwiches are a good choice here, so I will have to consider that in the future. I wont be stopping again for my morning caffeine and pastry fix.

This is literally an Eau Claire staple. I grew up in Eau Claire and literally have to go to Acoustic every time I visit now. I would rank it as in my top 5 favorite places to be in Eau Claire. Grab a Hoagie and Chili cup and enjoy their relaxing atmosphere with art posted from local artists or take it to have a picnic by the river.

Have loved Acoustic Cafe in Eau Claire for years. Great atmosphere, lots of seating, neat artwork hung on the walls for sale, live music (covid interrupted live performances. Their turkey hoagies are the best! They use a special sauce of their own recipe that really make the sandwiches extra flavorful. Love their soups, though they so change them out throughout the day, so the morning/lunch soup is likely to not be the soup that same evening. Homemade Betty Bars (giant krispie bars with chocolate frosting on top) and giant krispie bars, homemade scones and cookies. Ice cream also available. Lots of coffee and other hot and cold drinks.

Hostile environment!! Slow and rude service. 3 out of 4 things on our order were wrong and they didn’t care. The girl ringing people in needs a manners lesson. While I can not confirm this, I do believe that she refused to serve me and made disparaging comments about my appearance solely because I am a transgender woman.Additionally, they have created a maze of makeshift table barricades all around the booths that made it difficult to get in and out of. This is DEFINITELY a violation of both fire safety standards and makes it impossible for handicapped patrons to visit the acoustic cafe. Which after the way I was treated makes me believe that they’d prefer not to serve any underserved community. Very very disappointed. Do better.

The worse coffee. . . save your money and go to Starbucks... . Sandwiches are so-so. I mean this is 2021 who puts sprouts on sandwiches anymore that s a 1960s thing. Not the best service the counter people kind of remind me of outdated hippies. . . but I do have to say they always have great soups.

Filthy. Absolutely filthy. Tables and floors. Extremely SLOW gal on the register. She had to get drinks for people although there were all kinds of other employees standing around. Ordered the half Tuna hoagie. One would think a tuna salad would be cold... Nope. It was a hot tuna sandwich...what? I couldnt eat it. We asked for water thinking we would get a nice glass.of ice water...nope! 5 ounces of luke warm water from the tap! No ice! Lol what????? I would never return...however give the employees credit for actually working unlike so many sit at home after the pandemic collecting unemployment. Management/owner need to step in and help these kids out.

What a great restaurant/cafe! Arrived at noon on a Monday and was greeted with happiness and quick service. Great covid precautions in place. All employees were wearing masks. Really enjoyed our pita sandwiches. The hummus is great and tastes homemade. The dessert case has amazing options in it. They even serve hand scooped ice cream.If you are searching for a local establishment with good vibes, I highly recommend you check Acoustic Cafe out.

Acoustic Cafe, as always, did not disappoint. Whenever I come home, I always make sure to stop in. Right now, masks are required when not seated. Additionally, they have limited capacity and ask that you respect others time to try to allow others to dine-in also. I found these rules and suggested to be reasonable and easy to follow. Happy to support local!

Overpriced food. Stale bread for all three whole hoggie hummus sandwiches we ordered, not enough hummus. $12 for some bread and hummus? Can make a way better sandwich for 1/10000th the price at home. Wont eat here again.

Haven’t been here since I was 5 when I lived in Eau Claire in the early 90s. Parents would take me here regularly and I’d just stare at that ceiling in amazement the whole time. Googled out of curiosity and so pleased to see it’s still kicking. I can’t tell you about the food (I was a picky eater) other than the AWESOME cookies. But the atmosphere was very calming to an oddly anxious child. 5/5, would stare at that ceiling again.

On a suggestion from a friend, I stopped in to pick up some hoagies for lunch. They were delicious but what surprised me the most was the price: much lower than expected. The staff was also quick and efficient.

Great food, a really chill place. While I have never personally done my schoolwork there, it honestly would be one of the perfect places to grab a good meal and get some work done. They also have live music on I believe Friday and Saturday nights, go check that out and support local bands. Not too pricey either. One of the first places I went to when I first arrived in Eau Claire.

Everything was good. It appeared there was a bum bussing tables outside. As he was dirty and unkempt. Im all for the unfortunate working, but this was not appropriate, especially with Covid. Next thing I see he is across the street picking up cigarette butts. And back picking up our coffee cups.

Didnt stay very long, but the spacing was great, large menu, and pretty quick service. Nothing to complain about!

Well known for their sandwiches, and rightfully so, Acoustic has a wonderful way of blending some amazing and unique flavors into a flavorful, juicy, one-of-a-kind sandwich. If you are in the area for a weekend, you have to hit this spot up.They have a great selection of snacks and drinks as well (their chocolate peanut butter crispy bars are as big as your face) which makes it probably the coziest spot to settle in downtown and get some work done.Not to mention they have a fantastic birthday deal. If it is your birthday you get a free drink and 1/3 sandwich.

The coffee is good, but the soups and salads are great! And when they can have live musicians again it is one of the best spots for a relaxing evening on the town.

Ordered 2 iced caramel lattes. One with almond milk and one with whole. They were awful! They had a burnt taste that stuck with me for the morning. I would NOT recommend this coffee shop.

I dont know how many times Ive been here over the years, but I can say that, in a good way, this place doesnt change. The food is great, the drinks are awesome, and the vibe is always pretty chilled out, as it should be. Personal fave is the Combo sandwich with a cold lemonade.

Ive been eating here for over a decade, and it continues to be delicious! I dont currently live in the area, but when Im in town, Acoustic Café is one of the places I always want to eat at when I visit.

One of the best deli roast beef sandwiches Ive had in the past couple of years. I dont live in Eau Claire, but whenever Im visiting my brother there I want to get a sandwich at the cafe. Prices are good, I bought lunch for 4 people there and it cost me less than $40 bucks. Good value.

Recently went here with a friend while exploring Eau Claire and loved the atmosphere of this place. The booths are made from this great older wood that looks like it was maybe repurposed from something else and adds a lot of character to the place. Staff was friendly, there were plenty of seats, and despite it being pretty full the high ceiling made the place feel really open. They serve coffee drinks, some ice cream and a number of sandwiches. Prices werent outrageous.

I love this place, you can never go wrong here. If youre looking for a simple yet cute date, come here. Sometimes at nights (certain nights) they have jazz or other live music. Their sandwiches are to die for (go for the ham hogie with everything on it) this place is also nice because you can get ice cream and than walk around downtown. Enjoy!

Classic EC spot, been going here since the 90s. Hoagies are excellent, I usually do the combo or corned beef. Hummus wraps also great. Quiches have been a nice addition, they are all delicious but cream cheese tomato and herb was the best I tried. Coffee loyalty and .75 refills, can’t go wrong. Bakery is top

Nice, comfortable atmosphere. Ive only been in there a couple times now, today. I can make this a place to visit regularly in my sobriety. Gotta thank them for their hospitality, as I am a southern American American. Would highly recommend it to my friends.

Perfect place to go down town Eau Claire. Can eat outside during the warmer months and enjoy a hot cup off coffee. They also have great live performances a few times a week. Really show cases what Eau claire is all about.

Based on just one visit. A bit disappointed. Coffee pretty good but poor food. Sandwich was sad on lousy bread and no attractive treats or desserts. Just blah cookies and rice crispy bars at 5pm. Nice room, booths and street windows. But a code for the restrooms in this sleepy place? Took away from the very nice vibe of the staff. Maybe more fun during the school year.

This place is pretty great place in Eau Claire. They have live music and have great Hoagies and soup. Perfect place for a date, a meeting, place to study or even meet up with your party. The coffee is excellent. Dont be surprised if you fill out theyre coffee punch card much sooner than you expected. Not necessarily the place for young kids but they do have ice cream.

The Acoustic has the greatest hoagies on the planet. The coffee is fantastic, and the atmosphere is social and intimate, fun and significant. This is one of the greatest shops in town.

My friends & I have loved this place since college! Got to introduce it to my niece & daughter recently. Theyre hooked! The oatmeal chocolate chip cookie is my fav & they are the only place I can find my favorite drink, PRESS.

However the reason to go is the best damn sandwiches in Eau Claire. Nelsons is close but acoustic wins. Theyre amazing. Get a third or a half and thank me later.
