LOVE this place. Staff is always super friendly and knowledgeable. You get to earn reward points at the Cafe as well as the nursery. They all the varieties of plants you could want and are always healthy and pest free!

Really cute garden center with a ton of variety of plants and pots! I went there to find unique pots for my big spider and pothos plants and they have a huge array of sizes and colors. Their feline friend, Ash surprised me as well and thought he was a fun addition to the center.

First time visit...what a magical place. I saw so many amazing plants. The 3 goats were fun too.

Down to Earth Nursery is a lovely place with beautiful plants, flowers, crafts, and so much more. I love spending time here in my spare time looking for stuff for my nail shop and I always find something that helps enhance the look of my place. I highly recommend this place and will definitely visit it more often.

Overcharging. I was charged $90 for a lawn mowing services that usually cost $45. They also charged me double for my outdoor plants. In addition, the landscaping they did for me is a bad job. Definitely not recommending them!

Went to get some pansies from Down To Earth this morning, decided to have a sandwich there before getting flowers . As we walkedIn no one I saw was wearing a mask including the wait staff. i asked my wife do we really want to do this? WeWalked out and decided to go to May’s greenhouse . When we got there everyone was wearing a mask including the staff.Got my wife a couple birthday gifts and some flowers to the tune of over $400.Thank you May’s Greenhouse, we will keep you in mind when in need of greenhouse products long after the need for masks.Thank you for being responsible.

Down to Earth continues to grow and evolve as a business. Plant selection is very good but on the pricy side. The service and staff knowledge is high. They have evolved with a good eatery and place for local artisans to show their goods. A fun and quality business in Eau Claire.

The plants were incredibly over priced. I am a big houseplant enthusiast and these prices were absolutely insane, for common houseplants. They do have a fairly decent selection of rare plants, but also very expensive. I did get a few nice hanging planters for a decent price though.

Very nice garden center but BEWARE Perennials only have a 7day return policy and must be returned in same condition! Other greenhouses have a 1 year warranty on their perennials..

Was happy with Karl and his crew. However, tried to contact Tyler by several methods - phone, e-mail, and havent been contacted.

The prices are too high, the staff are not terribly knowledgable, and about 50% of the employees wear masks. Within a few minutes of being in the shop, I was surrounded by a big family not wearing masks. I immediately felt uncomfortable, so began to mention this to a staff member, then realizing she also didnt have a mask on.My boyfriend asked for a Citronella plant to repel pests and they gave him a blooming plant that smells like Citronella, but not the actual plant that is a grass. He looked this up after the fact, and now needs to return it because of their deception/lack of knowledge.

I stopped in here randomly and purchased some gifts. A beautiful place and great service! The lady at the barista gave me a free frozen meal to try as I was indecisive about purchasing one. It was phenomenal and super nice of her. Will be back!!!

OMG! Amanda is a rockstar! While my wife and I are a little “parsnickity” we have been on the quest for 3 Spring Snow Crabs for a very particular place and reason at our new home. Amanda allowed me to “bother” her regularly as supply was low and an expected shipment was due over a several week period. They finally came in, Amanda tagged three for me and they are perfect! Now planted, they have names after our three grandchildren. Down To Earth truly has one of the finest working for them, the product was awesome and the experience was well beyond what we get most places. I had my porch pots done by Down to Earth las spring. They did a wonderful job and they lasted well into the fall.

My mom and i have turned to the quality and variety of this greenhouse over the last two years! we love to visit it every time i’m in the area. the last two visits have been very upsetting as the store has taken a turn for the bougie. what was once an accessible and high quality place has turned into $400 4in plants only. I’m not kidding. we used to come in and leave with a magnificent bounty for $100 or under. now you will be hard pressed to find something not tropical and ultra rare that is withering at the price point of $600. we are hoping this does not become the norm bc no pink princess or dragon scale is worth the entirety of a paycheck. our most recent visit was filled with unhappy looking plants that cost as much as sh*tty used car.

They replanted my fern dividing it into two. Price was $19 for dividing, repotting, and two new pots. Plus, staff member was very informative about further care of plant. Highly recommend

Down to Earth is a very cute greenhouse with a large selection of hard to find houseplants. I always enjoy going out there and seeing what they have in stock. However, the last 2 plants I bought from there had mealie bugs and I noticed mealie bugs on several of the plants they had on the shelves as well. Its worth the visit but be sure to check the plants before you bring them home.

Was there today for the first time, my wallet almost started on fire! So many choices, of healthy plants. This may have become my new favorite place, and customer service was absolutely amazing, very rarely do i get one person asking me if i need help, i think 5 or 6 workers there asked if i was doing ok! So good to see great customer service!

I love the variety of plants and classes that Down to Earth offers. The greenhouse staff has been consistently knowledgeable and friendly, and have on occasion gone out of their way to help find specific plants or advise on plant care. Their classes, demonstrations, and hands-on workshops on succulents, air plants, and fairy gardens have been fun and informative. Theres always plenty to select from, even outside our Wisconsin outdoor growing season. A walk through the greenhouse is an excellent cure for winter blues. In warmer months, I love checking out the outdoor annuals, perennials, trees and fruit/vegetable plants, and spending a little time watching the goats. Their sales are great. The huge ceramic pot selection is gorgeous. They do an exceptional job of keeping up on current trends, without being so trendy that their pieces become quickly outdated. The reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is simply a matter of personal taste. Theyve recently changed their boutique (which I used to absolutely, completely, totally adore) to a very on trend Joanna Gaines kind of a style, which is beautiful and highly appealing to many. I appreciate it and understand that a lot of people really respond to this aesthetic, but I strongly preferred the eclectic, surprising mix that I would always find prior to the switch. I also miss the vintage tables and chairs and decor in the cafe.

I ordered new houseplants online, for curbside pick up. The staff were friendly and helpful, and they called to clarify details. They potted two of my plants as requested. My plants are beautiful and healthy! I would prefer to go into their beautiful greenhouses and shops, but curbside will do for now.

I love going to Down to Earth Garden Center! Besides having an abundance of wonderful things to purchase I like to sit in the greenhouse and eat lunch. In a busy world its great to have a place where plants are abundant and tranquility beckons me to come and relax for awhile and enjoy the simple things in life. Come try it out! MY EMAIL AND THE DOWN TO EARTH CALENDAR BOTH SPECIFICALLY SAID 6PM TO 9PM FOR SALE ON HANGING BASKETS, WHEN I GOT THERE ALL OF THEM WERE GONE. THEY SAID THEY STARTED THE SALE AT 8AM INSTEAD,I AM SO OVER THIS PLACE. WILL NOT BE GOING BACK

I bought a Thai constellation for $300 from during curbside pickup (March) and noticed even though the soil was WET the plant was acting wilted curly and thirsty so I unpotted it to find a terrible case of root rot. They won’t answer my e mails. I am still struggling with it’s single node to this day. This was an expensive fraudulent act. I also noticed after my first complaint e mail months ago they removed their thais from the online shop. Call me and make this right down to earth garden center!! APRIL 2021 and they still never got back to me no matter how many times I tried.

Not impressed with no masks being worn by employees. This was only in The Mustard Seed clothing shop.

Unfortunately the employees are not mindful of the mask mandate. Today, in the greenhouse several were either wearing their mask below their nose or didnt even have a mask on. I wont be returning.

We worked with Down to Earth for our new construction. Dominic had some amazing ideas and we trusted his expertise. We met with Ben to pick out plants and the outcome is more than we ever could have hoped for. They were extremely good to work with throughout the whole process. I would highly recommend them!!!!! Thank you to everyone that was involved that I might not have mentioned. You did an amazing job!!!

Down to Earth went out of their way to resolve two situations showing great Customer Service and understanding. They first returned a tree that I purchased without issue, because my plans had changed. Second, they exchanged out a second tree, again without question because I had discovered an issue with the bark. Not only was the exchanged tree a much better choice, they even offered to bring the tree to my home. I told them I was glad to bring the tree back, because of their wonderful treatment. I will certainly will be back to Down to Earth in spring for one more tree, a large variegated maple.

Wow! Our yard is being competed while I type this and it looks great! Dominic and crew really went to work and delivered a yard that we are so proud of. Thanks to everyone at Down To Earth Garden Center for you dedication to excellence.

Really enjoyed this place a lot. I took my 94 year old Granny with me and she is a handful. The staff was helpful, sweet and the food was excellent. We took a stroll through the boutique and then down to the garden center and we both thoroughly enjoyed ourselves... very nice, relaxed atmosphere. Please visit this place! Might not be the best place for small kids and babies, its more of an adult place but they would be okay if they have a good temperament.

I loved this place. The prices were great for my taste in plants. I loved the atmosphere and received great help when I asked for it. The lady who helped me was very friendly and kind. I like that there is so many different plants to choose from as well as different prices for different sizes of a same plant. I went home very happy and fulfilled and can’t wait to go back for many more visits.

This place is one of my favorite places to go in Eau Claire. The selection of plants is wonderful- even in March! My husband and I decided to visit on our anniversary (March 5th). Though we have visited many times previously, this was our first visit this early in the year. Really got us excited for the upcoming growing season 😍 The greenhouse breathes life into an otherwise frozen atmosphere, and it is a joy to behold.

Holey cow this place has EVERYTHING! Other than a Tradescantia nanouk, I was able to get every house plant on my dream list, from baby cacti and succulents to a pinstripe Calathea. Looking forward to shopping here when I buy a house and can go crazy in the outdoor plant/landscaping sections!

What a cool place. They have a green house, a cafe, and a boutique. There may be more that Im missing, but do you need anything else? You can grab a coffee or a smoothie and shop or sit in the cafe or look at plants. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful. The cafe is a little pricey in the food department but its all fresh and sustainable which should cost more. I love this place I will go back again and again.

I love it here. Some days I just come to relax and look at pretty plants, since I cant have many in my one bedroom apartment. Being here just makes me happy.

Fabulous in every direction. Coffee, food, shopping. Nursery options. Sit outside and enjoy the beauty. Its always on top of everything. At the end if the season when everyone else( Nurseries) is done with the blooms. They are like walking into the nursery in the spring!! Brilliant.

Unique planters and decor. Some plants that are hard to find elsewhere. The staff is very polite and very knowledgeable and helpful. This place has such a relaxing environment. I wish I could live here.

Good food, cute gifts and friendly staff. It was raining heavily so we werent able to see the greenhouses but they too looked fantastic. Though we were just passing through the staff invited us to their customer appreciation cookout the following day.
