Extremely expensive packaging. $2 for a plain super thin plastic envelope. An extra $2 to apply a medium amount of tape on packaging. Some employees are great, some dont care at all. No effort to promote customer service or retention. UPS has a monopoly, so they put no effort. I understand they see tons of people with Amazon codes, maybe this burns them out.Government USPS has way better service in my opinion.
This place is awesome! They help me ship packages to my family internationally every year and are always professional. I had a bad experience with other places and these guys made everything smooth.
Not happy with paying for two day air delivery and still having my shipment sitting in Saint Paul as of today… Was supposed to arrive today in Florida and won’t arrive at the earliest until Monday. While I understand that they do not guarantee their services, maybe they should be priced more accordingly then? I asked if there’s anything they could do for me, nothing at all.Honestly, if they would have given me a coupon for a future transaction I would’ve gone back, but why when there’s plenty of other shipping places in town...I have had positive transactions at this location in the past... But I’m really not happy about this one today. Waste of money.
I was procrastinating dropping off a package because I thought it would be difficult. But it was the easiest thing ever. Service was great!
Came to drop off two packages for my girlfriend, knowing that I had a code to be scanned off my phone for one of them and the other was supposedly ready to go. The woman behind the counter scanned and labeled the first one and then looked at me. I asked if the other was ready to go as-is, and she said not unless youve got another code...then she turned her back to me and walked away! In fact, Ive learned now that the package WAS ready to go and could have been dropped in the bin at the door--and it should have been obvious to her at a glance. This woman does not belong in a customer service position...she was shockingly rude and unhelpful.
I dont know if its weird to be so happy about this but everytime I go there they are so nice and helpful. The young man, Jack, that helped me was very helpful, happy, and kind. There was another young lady working (didnt catch her name) helping a women who was deaf/hard of hearing. She was so patient, and kind. Took the time to write notes back and forth. Its too bad people only think to review when they have a negative experience.
I experienced terrible customer service when I went in to do a simple return. I was told that I would not be helped at all until I had a mask on, even after telling him that I am medically exempt he still refused to help with the return. Im highly disappointed that me and other people that are medically exempt are being rejected service and discriminated against because we cannot wear masks. I will NOT be returning again and I do NOT recommend this place at all.
As always a pleasant experience.
Been here twice in the last month and all the employees have been rude, disrespectful, and short with me. Asking them a question is like losing a leg with them; I get times are tough but everyone is struggling and having HORRIBLE customer service won’t make anyones day better.
James and his staff are great to work with. We ship everything through them because they do great work. I see many of the poor reviews have nothing to do with the UPS Store, but rather the “Big Brown Trucks”. Different situation there.I’ll be back again over and over. Thanks James and staff!!!
Great staff, products, & service! NOTE: This is a UPS STORE. Any Google comments related to packages improperly dropped off at a house, etc should not reflect on this store - that is UPS delivery - a different entity. This UPS Store, employees & printing services are top notch #1 in products & service.
Fast &Friendly service. Always help me send it the best way and I saved money
I sent a package to a friend out of state and made a mistake on the address, for which I own.It would have nice if the store would have called me to let me know they had my package. It took UPS nearly 2 weeks before it was returned the the local UPS Store - bad on UPS.
They did some print work for me and got it done really quickly! Thanks so much!
Little bit of a wait just to drop off a package, but employees definitely knew what they were doing. Was in and out without hassle. Great job!
Excellent customer service! I was on my way to the main entry with a large package on a return journey to Amazon and one of the extremely polite employees rushed to open the door just to make sure I didnt have to struggle opening the door with my large box in hand. I was a little disappointed about the $2 charge to print the Amazon return labels but the charge was do to a mistake by Amazon customer service not UPS.
Always quick drop offs when returning items from Amazon. Love it.
Can you please inform you drivers not to drive like a bat out of hell down residential streets. We have kids and a park near by. I see this everyday.
Such a great place and people are so friendly.
Great customer service! Greeted right away when we walked I’m and assisted with all our needs in getting our package shipped...will definitely be back!
Always great service! I use them for both business and personal shipping, and have no issues.
I shipped a number of items that included 6 collectable figurines I had given my mother over the years. The store did the packing and I paid $25.00 for that service. I was told that if I insured the items, they had to do the packing. Upon receiving the box, I noticed that the packing was the same as when I brought it in with just a small sheet of bubble wrap placed on the bottom and top of the plastic box that I brought into the store. The figurines were just wrapped with the small bubble wrap with 2 figurines in each 24 inch by 8 inch piece of bubble wrap. As I removed the items I noticed a small nick on the first one and the damage got worse as I took them out with the last one broken in two. 5 of the 6 figurines were destroyed. When I received the insurance settlement it was for the purchase price I paid for them in the late 80s and early 90s. I had sent them proof of the current value ($735.00) and they cut it almost in half. I paid for $1000.00 insurance, they paid $470.00The owner of the store told me that UPS decides how much to pay out and the insurance representative for UPS told me they just check and verify the paperwork. They have NOTHING to do with values. If you choose to ship via UPS, know that you should NEVER ship anything that cannot be replaced at Wal-Mart prices and NEVER ship anything that increases in value over time, or needs care. This looked like someone who had no training at all in how to ship fragile stuff shipped it. For what they did I would have been MUCH better off to just let US Mail handle it.UPS has lost a good customer for life. I know they do not care but I will tell all I know.
The folks at the Eau Claire UPS Store are awesome. They are cheerful every day, despite that Ive dropped off hundreds of packages with them.
I had a package to bring in to ship while on my lunch hour and I called ahead, spoke with James, he took the information needed to generate a shipping label, so when I arrived he quickly weighed and measured the package, so my whole experience was only several minutes long which allowed me to still grab something for lunch! James was super helpful, Kudos!!!!!
I know the ups store will do their typical response of how they dont handle the packages blah blah blah, but my product was bent beyond repair, I was charged $22 with no refund of shipping costs. Was told to contact 1-800 number for UPS to file a claim, they told me to file the claim with a store. Just a run around. Now Im out a $170 product and $22 for shipping and 0 customer service and no effort for customer retention. On top of that it had been sitting at their store for nearly a week without notifying me there was any issues, my customer had to call me and let me know he hadnt received his delivery yet. Poor customer service on both ends and will not be using ups ever again. If you want your items thrown off the back of a truck and destroyed, use these ppl. Apparently do not bend and handle with care equate to drag it behind the truck for a few miles!
I shipped a package internationally and now UPS is trying to charge the receiver brokerage fees because the agent at this UPS Store sent it via standard service. The agent did not tell me that there were other service options or that there would be extra charges for the receiver on standard service. Im not happy about having to pay more to get my package released or the hassle of trying to figure out why there are extra charges in the first place. I will NEVER use the UPS Store again for anything.
I have gone to the UPS Store and worked with Holly for years. Excellent service!
My packages get thrown in front of my garage, not my front door, in the pouring rain without plastic covering. So my journal I ordered was soaked within minutes.
I go here all the time. Always friendly and knowledgeable, and my packages always get to their destinations.
I just want to comment on mr holtorfs note.i do not live locally and would expect this note may be removed.i had the exact experience here in san francisco, using a UPS store, with them wrapping and shipping, and destroying, a family heirloom.i was explicit, if you cannot guarantee against breakage, tell me and i will mail something else.i was assured all would be well, i paid for, but did not receive a double wrapping, which i feel would have given the needed protection, and the lack thereof -having paid for the double wrap - feels likea version of fraud to me.i also had the insurance, which proved worth nothing, and the item arrive smashed into dust.i was met with nothing but attitude and indifference. and an insulting financial compensation.i found that the ups stores are not run by ups, nor by ups standards...or so the corporate offices in atlanta said.it was such a frustrating experience, after YEARS of using ups, and respecting their good business ethic,so much so that i have never since, and will never again use anything to do with them.and i have, since that time, shared this extremely unsavory experience of ups, and their ups stores, at every opportunity...as you see here.i would caution against anyone using this business.robert corrick.
So helpful and they print beautiful prints for me!
Shipped my item there and less then 1 hour and i called them to write returned cargo on the outside of the package to avoid the tax charges but a woman told me they wont be able to find it. I literally just sended my item less than an hour and should still be in the store. What a joke!
Drop off direct TV equipment. The young gentleman working behind the counter could not have been nicer. Answered all our questions about the shipping of the equipment. And gave us the right answer on how to return some other equipment that they dont take. He went above and beyond.
Keep leaving packages outside instead of inside the porch. Have had items stolen and left out in the rain
$2 for a single page print seems a bit expensive
Worst customer service ever!! I will be shipping everything with FedEx for now on.
Great service!
They were supposed to deliver my computer today 10-12 but since nobody was home to sign they didnt let is reschedule it and I have to wait till fridayI hate ups now so much
