Very unsanitary. Produce looked old/expired, dust on the shelves, fruit flies on the shelves. Nice owner but needs to take sanitation more seriously considering were in the middle of a pandemic. Will be taking my business to India Spice House unless sanitation is made a priority.

Fresh vegetables on Tuesdays and Fridays at around 2PM makes it a great place. Quality of vegetables are best during this day/time compared to any Indian grocery store. I haven’t purchased vegetables from any other store, other than Poornanand Store since last two years(when I first came to know about this store from a colleague). We get the feeling of being in an Indian store and speaking Hindi with Uncle/Aunty(Owners) and with other staff members which is incredible. Personalized experience as uncle(owner) remembers everyone by their name and builds a strong relationship, that gives a more personal touch.

Great ambiance, very helpful staff. The only store with actually fresh and great variety of vegetables. They dont carry any meat which makes the whole experience so pleasant.

Always clean, can I say genteel? Such a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere for the mundane task of grocery shopping, taking the stress out of all the running around. Good produce, friendly staff and the odd bismark from the baked goods dept keep me going back.

Been coming here for two years. Bad experience today. Purchased Haldiram roti packet. Opened the packet and what came out is shown in the picture. Packet says expiry in 2022. Called the shop. “We have never had this complaint before” was the response. That was it!! No effort to find out what was wrong, no interest in getting a picture. Forget about saying we will replace it. Such a sub-standard service.

Its a good Indian grocery store. I can find almost everything I need. The staff is also very helpful .the only thing which I dont like about the store is they sell the expired food items on lesser price which is not a good thing...

Let me start off by saying they are nice people but there are a few issues that they need to take care of. I have been a long time, a really long time customer and my honest observations are posted here. First, they need to display prices on the items. Not displaying prices is illegal and we are not sure what they are charging. No matter how they much they try to convince us, I am not sure on the rates being charged. They do say the y charge less but every other store charge the same amount. Second, if a customer wants to return an item for an exchange or a store credit they should do it whole heartedly. I see that they do a lot of dramas asking silly questions and forcing the customer to buy another item which is not correct. Lastly, they need to respect the customers in times of COVID situation. They have made good profits considering how much people are buying and stocking things and yet crib about a lot of things, e.g. about losing money which I think is again an honest lie. I hope they read the review and improve upon the things I have mentioned. I wish them the best!

Excellent collection of groceries and fresh veggies

We get our green weekly vegetables from here and they are always fresh. Typically you subscribe to an e mail and get the notifications. There are plenty of other grocery items and the staff are helpful && courteous.

Today I stopped in to Poornanand Foods just looking around and wanting to try something new. As soon as I walked in I was greeted with a smile and asked if I needed any help. I didnt know very much about what kind of foods were what and had questions. I received help from a very nice gentleman. I wpuld recommend going to this store for any of your Indian food needs.

Went to this place for the first time in the morning and the shop was not at all clean. There is a good collection of Indian cosmetics but the racks are highly unkempt and unorganized. They should not open the shop for customers until it is properly cleaned inside and all the vegetables are stacked. The staff is friendly and cheerful and overall good Indian groceries but not hygienic.

Indian groceries in Eden prairie . Have frozen Indian goods like ice creams, sweets, snacks, vegetables etc. . They get Indian veggies on regular basis . Have good stock of different pulses, rice, variety of flour, spices, pickels, snacks, religious items etc.Very friendly owner, you will feel like being in India after shopping from here, familiy owned business . Parking space available, shopping carts available, toilet available . Little congested, so gets crowded when new stock of veggies arrive . Give deals on festival occasions .Good for quick shopping .

They are small from total sq feet standpoint but they have all you need, staff is good and friendly.

Worst Customer Service and Expired Food ItemsI called up from home to check if they have grill to make roti on electric stove, they said yes, i mentioned ok i will come now to pick up....when i went there, i searched for this item but couldnt find it, i requested front desk to help but no help received, finally after asking multiple times someone came along to search with me, looked to search but didn’t find the item, they said this item must not be there now. Total 30-45 mins of time waste driving from home, in store and driving back 😞Also one of my friends mentioned by mistake they purchased pickle which was expired, when they went back to store to return, front desk said they will give some discount on item as it is expired 🙄
