I went in for a transmission issue 3 years ago and was told that’s not the problem, Glen put a $65 part on my truck and 1 week later transmission went up🤦🏽‍♀️. Same thing my mother went in for 3 weeks ago paid almost $3000 for parts and no transmission 💁🏽‍♀️Her car still making noise and Glen lied to my mom and said I cursed at him. Believe me cheating people out of money and lying on them is wrong, I believe in KARMA!

We arrived one hour before closing needing some maintenance to get back home. Even though it was last minute Glenn took care of everything and helped us to get on our way safely. On top of this the price was very affordable. I highly recommend Waters.

Editing my review, did everything they said they would and got my car back by Mother’s Day. It was a very long wait. I did have to pay upfront but it was worth it. My only complaint was how long it took. I became quite scared and desparate. They did an excellent job though. It’s just I might have to take it dealership so I can get a loaner car next time. I have two children and it was a very long wait and I had to go without my car for weeks. I kinda felt like I was last in line but when I let them know I’m losing custody of my children they returned it right before Mother’s Day so I’m very pleased with that. I’ll update you to see how it drives. Extensive repairs were made. Be sure you ask how long as you might consider renting a vehicle for extended time, thank you Glen God bless you 🙏

Ive been going to Waters Auto for quite a few months now. I recently went in for shaking in my front end. As well as tire sensor light on. Yes the tire sensor light went off, however my car is shaking worse than when it went in. How does a car feel like its skipping across a brand new paved surface. As well as feels like a Jack hammer at 50 plus mph. Not to mention it now sounds like my tire is dragging when I turn. NONE OF THIS WAS GOING ON TIL THEY ROTATED MY TIRES. Now Im told there is nothing wrong and this is normal. No its not. Its my car and I drive it on a daily basis. SO I SHOULD KNOW WHEN SOMETHING ISNT RIGHT!! I now have to pay another company to do exactly what I already paid these folks. As well as more lost wages because of the amount of time they had my car but couldnt fix it. So no I will not return and I will no longer refer anyone there.

When Ive been incapacited, they have delivered the car to my home. Excellent custoer service. A real find in this day and time.

I went here to mainly get my car back started but I also asked for them to tell me why my car was shaking when it drove over a certain speed and all they did was put a battery and put some gas in and told me everything was going good with the car but now about a month later the car won’t even start and I have no idea what is wrong with it🤦🏾‍♂️

I was visiting family in Bel Air. At 4pm on a Sunday I go to get on road only to realize my alternator was bad. Mr. waters and staff stayed until 7pm Sunday evening fixing my alternator so I could make it back to Myrtle beach. Additionally, his price was excellent. He could have taken advantage of me on price because I had to get back. He blew me away in a good way on pricing. I wish all repair shops operated like this. I recommend 200%.

I overslept past my appointment time, called still was able to get oil changed, alignment, rotation and balance. On top of that had a selection of donuts from 3 different places. (Free) Looks like I found my new local mechanic!!!

My daughter had a radiator leak and the engine was overheating. We took the car to Waters Auto Service on a Sunday and Glenn Waters happened to be there. Our Saturn Vue is no longer produced and parts are getting harder to find. While fixing the radiator I asked Glenn to check my daughters brakes because my daughter had been complaining about them. Glenn confirmed that new brakes were justified but he knew the cost of the radiator repair was expensive, and was hesitant to change them at that time. I am very skeptical of auto mechanics so I do not write this review lightly. At no time did I feel Glenn was taking advantage of me. My personal radar never hinted to me that I was being played to get extra money, or that work was being done for needless extra repairs. I was so surprised that I felt I needed to write this review. I would recommend Glenn and Waters Auto Service to all locals in the Edgewood, Md area.

Went here to get my water pump and thermostat replaced and was strung along, checking for status updates and promises that I’d get a phone call only to get one an hour before closing three days later. Then, the very first time I drove away from the shop my engine started turning over funny. A few days later the engine won’t turn over at all. I’m just really surprised, after being told they ran my engine in their shop and test drove it before giving it back, and not a single mechanic noticed this problem? Needless to say, I’m going elsewhere to get this new problem taken care of.

Fantastic place to get your car fixed. Glen Waters is the owner/mechanic and he is an honest man, and very competent too, very skilled at what he does. My Sonatas front brakes had started binding really bad, so I called several shops in the area and they all wanted over thousand bucks to fix it, which is ridiculous. I called Water auto service out of desperation not knowing what to expect, but he said he will do a complete front end brake job for 500 bucks, which is actually what it should cost but many crooked mechanics will want over thousand bucks for it. Anyways Glen gave my car a complete new front end (new rotors, pads, and calipers) for five hundred and he did it the same day because my situation was dire. Dont hesitate to go to Water auto service for your car needs.

My car broke down the day after Thanksgiving and this was the first shop that actually picked up the phone. Glad they did, had my car fixed in less than 24 hours and even though it came out $80 over the price he originally gave me, he didn’t charge me the overage. He also told me some other maintenance things that were overdue but didn’t pressure me to have them done immediately and told me exactly what was needed just to get it driveable again. Sucks my car broke down but I got a new mechanic out of it.

The owner of the company is very dishonest. I brought my car in a Toyota Corrolla. I got in a small accident and asked that he repair the back tire. The owner had my car for 3 months and never looked at my car. I called him daily and would drop by the shop and asked if there had been progress. He kept saying he did not get time to look at it. I dropped by again and for the last time and he stated that he had looked at it and that the car was totaled. He stated that the frame was bent. He stated he would do me a favor and get rid of the car and he wouldnt charge me anything. It was until he said this I began to wipe the word FOOL of my face. I had my car towed out of there immediately and off to a reputable mechanic. That mechanic said you just need a left axel and a tire. Charged me $350 and I have been driving that car for the last 4 years without any other mechanicle problems at all. Please dont waste your time or money with this guy
