I had itching etc and a thing on my face my. My skin is a lot happier, I can actually live in it now, they plucked this thing off my face. And it is healing fine almost completely. Excellent staff and Doctor I will definitely return for any skin issues, thank you all for your help.

Great appointment with Dr. Hannon, but follow up was dreadful. Prescriptions were not sent to pharmacy, and phone contact with clinic is nearly impossible. After reading several other reviews, Im concerned that its such a huge cosmetic provider (read, vanity procedures versus acute or chronic medical conditions), that actual medical care is secondary. Disappointed, as this provider was recommended by my primary physician.

Dr. Hook has a great style and made my 4 year old feel comfortable right away even though we had never met her before. I was impressed with how my daughter had no issues with the treatment without any mental preparation. Minimal wait time in office too!

This clinic is absolutely a get you in get you out dollars genenerator. My Dr. did a baseline assessment in less than one minute and was out the door in less than 5 min. They push numbers, you are not important and unless you are doing botox and have regular procedures you are worthless to them.

Would never come back to this clinic. The issue I dealt with spread over my eye. When the eruption finally occurred, I sported a black eye for months. The healing left permanent scarring and I still have eruption of pearls coming out of my skin which is extremely painful. None of these Doctors diagnosed the problem or treated it. Highly disappointed and I have completely given up on dermatologists helping me.

Dr. Bhardwaj is so kind and caring, not to mention really exceptional at what he does. I cant recommend him enough. His team is fabulous. Jessica took great care of me while I was undergoing a Mohs procedure. Not fun but its less painful when youre well cared for.

Dr. Hannon was very informative, knowledgeable, and caring with his service. He answered all the questions and concerns that my family and I had about our skin care. We left his office feeling a lot better about our concerns.

I enjoyed my experience with Dr Cho and her staff. Everyone was very professional and friendly.

This clinic will not let the patient go in with a parent for their appointment unless there is an interpreter present, if you need one. The interpreter either shows up or doesnt, and if they dont, they will reschedule you. Another thing too, we made the appointment but never took the patient in, knowing that the doctor was supposed to give the results today. Overall not good. have to wait longer for results and wont take you in at your appointment.

Would not reccomend this place to a new patient. I went in today with a appointment at 150. At 215 i was brought to a room and sat until 230 when a nurse came in and said the doc was running late with another patient. Ten minutes later the doc came in with no introduction or no have you ever been to a dermatologist and asked and looked at my spot and said we will check it out. With no explanation of how she was going to do that. Then the nurse came in asked if i was allergic to lidocaine and put a needle in my face with out telling me what she was going to do. Then the doc slapped a bandaid on me and said use vaseline and keep covered for ten days. Then she walked out with a nice to meet you and we will let you know without looking at me. Sure would like to know when ill get my results. Totally felt like a number and a insurance charge and that was it. Be nice to get my copay back as i dont think ill be back and the service was terrible.Rebecca Dettman

3rd appt Dr Chermak. The nurse and front desk very nice. Dr Chermak is rude and very unprofessional. I see there are lots of complaints, so I assume its common for her. If you dont have the covid shot, stay clear of her. I got a lecture and a real earful of her political views. Ill see another Dr. No one needs to be insulted just because getting a vaccine is a choice, not a requirement by Dr Chermak law.

The care & concern for patient care & Covid safety is above board. The shared knowledge & treatment options are always communicated with patients. I have had to utilize their services for several years now & honestly trust them with my health.

Snarky nurse comment directed at my teen, subpar billing practices topped with a culture of “we are. doing you a huge favor” has resulted in finding a new dr.

Watch out they will send you to a collection company that will not even let you know that you owe money. I just found out my credit I dinged because of $147. Collection agency never contacted me.

I would not recommend this place to anywhere . I am a patient with state medical insurance and I called to make an appointment this morning and they require a $125 deposit just to make an appointment that’s ludacris. The lady on the phone was extremely unhelpful and unwelcoming you could hear the entitlement in her voice like she was doing me a favor! There are plenty of clinics to go to and after reading the other reviews it no longer surprises me how I have been treated!

Dr Lee has helped me get rid of warts that had been spreading for one year. Two other doctors tried with very painful treatments with no success. Dr Lee’s treatment was not only painless but totally successful. For that I am very grateful

Went in for mild to moderate acne on my cheeks. Saw Doctor Hannon who specializes in ethnic skin conditions. Within one minute of the consultation, the doctor immediately prescribed a gel lotion and acne wash for my face without even looking at my skin (was wearing a mask due to COVID). I asked the doctor why he would recommend a topical lotion without even looking at the type of acne I had. Because I mentioned this, the doctor then proceeded to look at my skin AFTER already determining what medicine to use. This did not sit well with me. After the consult, I researched the cream and the acne wash the doctor recommended online before purchasing to make sure I was not using something that would make my acne worse. Given the mild composition and very minimal side effects, I purchased both items have been using them as prescribed for two weeks. Unfortunately, there is no improvement in the acne. I will never come to this place nor recommend it to others. I am actively seeking a second opinion.

I have seen Dr. Healy for both skin issues and minor cosmetic procedures as Im approaching 40 and can say her professionalism, overall calm-ness as well as expertise is perfect. I would highly highly recommend her as a dermatologist.

Dr. Chermaks bed-side manner is cold, arrogant, and robotic. She treated me like a specimen rather than a human, and spoke in a demeaning manner. Without so much of an explanation let alone options, she gouged a chunk of my arm out to the point of deformity - just to remove one small mole. If you care at all about being treated and respected as a human or about how your body will look after a procedure, find another doctor.

The doctors we have seen are great (Reid and Creswell). My daughters have been seen here and so have I. Some of the office staff are not very polite.

Cant say enough about how great our visits our! My family and I are regular patients of Dr. Healy and Sharon S. and they are the best! Kind, caring and great at what they do. Thank you for always taking such great care of us!

I had an video call appointment with Dr. Chermak today and it was hands down one of the most terrible appointments I have ever had. Ive had a persistent rash on my face and before I could tell her anything about it she told me it was the skin care products I use, ( Ive been using these for months and this is the first time ive had a reaction like this). She asked no questions about how long ive had it, what it felt like or anything, just said what she thought and that was the conversation. I had to click out of our video because I was about to cry. She had no interest in hearing what I had to say it was her way or the highway. I am very disappointed and will not be returning here or recommending it to anyone.

Had a procedure on a Tuesday - woke up with a horrific reaction Wednesday morning and called the doctor - nurse took the message giving the direct impression I would get a call back as soon as possible. No one got back me until Friday midday. OVER 48 HOURS LATER for a return call. Tech called on Friday, could not answer my questions - had to leave a message for doctor. Tech called back again with unreasonable suggestions that would be impossible to accomplish on a Friday afternoon. I was left no options because of their tardiness on getting back to me. Been going here for years (12!) and multiple times a year, spending a lot of money out of pocket - I DIRECTLY asked for the doctor to call me (she knows who I am). I will NOT go back and not recommend this practice or this particular doctor anymore.

It’s a bad bad place. The customer satisfaction is zero. I called up to book an appointment and some receptionist named sandy picked up. She is such a slow and annoying person. I just didn’t like her.Finally I somehow managed to get through her. After my visit, i have to call them so many times and finally got my results after a month of pushing them. Then would not even return to voice mails. Honestly very poor customer satisfaction. Was a waste of time.

I came to my appointment at the designated time on my reminder sheet and was told that my appointment had been canceled. This was not done by me and I felt that this was not believed by the office staff. I managed to get in to see the doctor anyway, but it was a very rushed experience that lasted for about 10 minutes with little communication involved. Quantity of service seems more important than quality of service.

Yesterday was my first visit to your clinic. After my previous doctors, of many years, had retired, I have been to several new doctors with great dissatisfaction. I left your clinic yesterday with a much lighter heart knowing that, at last, I am once again under good care for the long battle Ive had with cancer. I had 3 office visits in the past couple of months and every visit was great. Dr. Creswell is amazing, as well as the rest of his team. He took the time to explain everything thoroughly and answered all of my questions, which made me feel very comfortable and helped calm any nerves I had. They took great care of me at each visit and I would recommend them to anyone!

Waited 25 minutes after appt time to get in to see doctor. Everything else was great!

I have been a patient here for years. I suddenly started being charged more for my appointments and nobody could explain why other than The doctor charged it that way. I will not be returning. Ill be finding another Dermatologist office who is honest and upfront about fees especially if they are increasing.

My fiancé and I visited Dermatology Specialists in Edina for a skin rash. We saw Dr. Chermak, and we were not impressed with her. We brought our 18 month old daughter with us, who was being well behaved in the exam room while we waited. As soon as Dr. Chermak entered the room she stopped, and the first thing out of her mouth was, “I’ll need you to hold her on your lap; like the whole time.” No hi, no nothing. She stopped at the door as if our child was contagious or something. Very rude. What do you know, 18 month olds do not like to be restrained, and she almost threw a fit sitting on my lap. She was doing just fine on the floor. A little while later, Dr. Sherman made the comment to us “don’t let her touch the mirror.” She must not like kids, and this was a horrible first impression.Dr. Chermak seemed unsure about exactly what was wrong with us and used words like “maybe” and “it looks like.” She seemed unenthusiastic and as if she just couldn’t wait to be done. Another doctor just trying to make a buck as quickly as possible. When we tried asking her to clarify what she prescribed to us, she couldn’t even give us a straight answer. I never did find out until I got to the pharmacy.My review here is mostly for this particular doctor. I had no problems with Dermatology Specialists as a company. The rest of the staff were cheerful and very helpful. If you go there, make sure to not see Dr. Cally L. Chermak, especially if you’ve brought your kids.

I hate doctors, and I hate going into to appointments for them, but I had to bite the bullet and go in. From making the appointment, the check in, the nurse, and finally the doctor - it was painless. I really appreciate their patience with me, and honestly Dr. Hannon was amazing. He was understanding, and explained everything clearly. He even took my insurance into consideration when prescribing! I cannot say enough good things! Second time Ive been to this clinic (last time was over a decade ago) and both were great experiences.

Ive been seeing her for years and she has consistently delivered excellent treatments. Her friendly demeanor and expertise in all aspects of dermatology makes going there a very satisfying experience.

I went in to have a spot checked on my forehead and Dr. Healy thoroughly looked over my face and gave me a clean bill of health. I got there on time and she saw me on time. She asked if I had any other concerns and we chatted a couple minutes and I was on my way. Great clinic !

Have been here twice now, two different doctors. The second one was friendlier (gave me time to ask a couple of questions), but they both follow the business model many dermatology offices now use, of getting as many patients through here in the shortest amount of time. I imagine they take more time for those who have the costlier cosmetic procedures. No follow up or communication channels like My Chart. This is a privately owned business.

Very professional, accommodating, friendly. I really appreciated the clinics flexibility on giving me an appointment at the last minute to check out a growing concern for a rash.

Not a good experience. We have switched to another provider for better consultation, communication and follow up. My recommendation is to make sure you do your own research on any medications prescribed- look for FDA warnings and drug manufacturer listed side effects so that you understand clearly and become your own advocate.

I am not one to post reviews often, but after my experience thus far with Dr. Creswell I felt I should. I’ve had acne on my face and at first when I met with him he seemed eager to help me and was confident in what would fix it, over the course of four months this pill was not working and he still felt it would over a longer period of time- all the while I still had the same acne issue and nothing was different. I consulted friends and family members and came up with an idea for another medication that could possibly help. Thankfully that medication got rid of my acne after two days, going in to see Dr. Creswell after three weeks of being on this new medicine that completely healed my acne- he still was not confident it was the cure and made me feel insecure about how happy I was that my acne was finally gone after months of no change.While I think Dermatology Specialists is a wonderful place with nothing, but kind people who work there, I was really disheartened by this experience as I’m not in the medical field and want to trust my doctors advice. Dr. Creswell was however unhelpful and unwilling to try new things to cure my acne. Had I not sought outside help I would still be facing the same issue if I continued listening to what he wanted to do.

Love the professionalism and sincere caring this staff has, I recommend coming here for al your dermatology needs!

Our son was seen in this clinic perviously and needed to go back for a second visit. We switched doctors due to finding out that Dr. Hook (first doctor) is in a lawsuit for misuse of a lazar on a childs face. No thanks, Im not comfortable seeing that doctor again. Upon meeting our new doctor, Dr. Chermak, we were extremely unimpressed by her. She came busting through the door, failed to introduce herself, immediately harped on us for the treatment we were doing (which was prescribed by Dr. Hook) never asked up what treatments we have already tried, or asked us questions, contradicted herself, couldnt provide basic answers to our questions regarding treatment options such as duration, success rate, etc. and suggested very different treatment approach than Dr. Hook. Seems like doctors in the same clinic should have the same approach to treating basic things. If shes a doctor, Id expect her to know some stats to back up treatment options. The rest of the clinic staff are wonderful and I did report this to the manager, who was apologetic and kind. Office manager offered for us to come back to a different doctor at no charge. At this point, Im not so sure thats the best option.

Staff was pleasant, doctor was nice and thorough, I had no wait time (in fact I think I was called before my actual appointment time) and the doctor saw me before I was able to finish filling out my first time patient form! Talk about a breath of fresh air. 😁

My Doctor was incredibly nice and listened to what I had to say. Overall, this place meets and exceeds my dermatology needs. Just wanted to say thanks to all the staff. :)

This place is a puppy mill for patients. This is all about churning patients as fast as they can and getting those billable hours.And while this is not at all uncommon in the derm field these days, it is also disgusting. If you are going for a cosmetic issue (all they care about $$$$) then maybe this is fine but for medical run far and fast. Calling these people doctors is a stretch - the 21st century plastic surgeons.The front office staff is not helpful nor knowledgable. The business office is terrible. Nurses - nope.There are literally hundreds of options for dermatology. Choose another place

I’ve had nothing but positive experiences with Dermatology Specialists. Dr. Creswell is always prepared and has reviewed my chart before entering the room. I’m always in and out in a timely fashion, and the appointment always ends by asking if I have any more questions or concerns. I appreciate their efficiency and thoroughness. Highly recommend!

Amazing experience! I had an appointment scheduled for 10:00 I arrived at 9:45 to fill out the new patient paperwork as it was my first time being seen at Dermatologist Specialist with Dr. essica Healy. I was sitting in her office at 10:05 so I had absolutely no wait in the waiting room. She took her time and explained the process that I was being seen for and actually did an additional service that wasnt actually scheduled for so kudos to this office and kudos to Dr. Healy. Thank you so much you guys I would love to come back and have some more work done. The girls at the front desk were very professional and very kind I mean the whole experience was wonderful I dont know what else to say.

Went in for canker sores in 2015. Was told by Dr. B that there was nothing he could do for me - I had stress. However, I paid a $90 copay for a prognosis of stick it [the canker sores] out.Months later, [still with canker sores] I went to see a general practitioner, who prescribed a topical paste for my canker sores - the sores disappeared in just 2 days! I suffered for months based on Dr. Bs prognosis of tough it out.To add insult to injury, most recently, I tried to fill Dr. Bs prescription for a different skin ailment. The pharmaceutical company had the ointment on backorder. When the order came in, the prescription refill came in 3 days later than the valid refill expiration date (prescribed by Dr. B in 2015).However, Dr. B would not approve the refill - saying I had to be seen again. Why would one pay another $100+ copay for a doctor who did nothing for me the first time around? Dr. B would not trust the pharmacy even when they called asking for a couple more days to refill the prescription.

Sharon does such a great job and is so knowledgeable. The office staff is friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Dermatology Specialists!

Everytime I call for an appt they want $125 for an evaluation and we dont know if we can fit you in to remove this teeny growth so youll need to come in at a different time. It feels like a puppy mill for procedures instead of a doctor who cares--back to Dr. Charles Crutchfield I go!! Id rather pay more for a well known professional and get someone who cares about me and gives me individualized service!

Dr. Lee immediately had me diagnosed, I had been to four specialists and no one knew what I had. What had been prescribed by another dermatologist was actually making my condition worse, I am now on my way to healing and have my piece of mind back. Thank You Dr. Lee!

They were in a rush. They ordered a test I didnt need and prescribed expensive medication without discussing it with me. They only want your money and do not care about your long term health. DO NOT USE THEM.

I have been going to Dr. Bussman for many years. She is thorough, on time and has always paid close attention to my issues. I highly recommend her.

Fail. No caring...just do you have insurance. That is it. Could not schedule appointment. Have insurance did not know the group ID and did not have on me. The absolutely rude scheduler said not insurance number no appointment...call back later and hung up! I know it is a business and they need to get paid, but to demand the insurance or another option prior to the appointment being set. Sorry but I will take my insurance elsewhere.

Our daughter needed to be seen right away for her eczema and Dermatology Specialists were able to get us in the next day! We felt Dr. Hannon was very knowledgeable and attentive, so much so that we plan to book appointments with him for the rest of our family as well!

My visit with the doctor and staff in person were actually good. It’s after the initial visit where things went down hill and frankly unprofessional. My billing detail was never explained, my basic procedure had to be redone, and after the amount billed was triple the amount of previous visits. I will be moving forward with a different dermatologist for all future needs.

Beware - We brought our 10 year old daughter here to get a skin abnormality biopsied. The doctor only took half of it off leaving the other half. When I called to ask about it, they said that is standard practice for a biopsy. I personally have never had a doctor take half of a mole for a biopsy, nor have I ever known anyone to get half of a mole removed for testing purposes; they have always taken the entire thing. And I quote It was not medically necessary to take the entire thing.Furthermore, after I called to speak with the nurse, she immediately called my daughters pediatrician and told them I was irate and was yelling and screaming at her, which I most certainly was not. It was very unprofessional for her to call our pediatrician and speak poorly about me. After our conversation, I simply told her I was going to write this review because thats all I was left with. I would let people know that if they come here with a mole, they will get half of it removed. If you want the other half removed, youll have to go through the process again and pay for the entire procedure yourself. Dermatology Specialists is not part of the BBB, so if you have an issue dont expect a resolution. Im not a surgeon or a doctor, but this was my experience.

The staff at the check-in desk were very helpful and pleasant.My wait time was very short. Dr Healy saw me for the first time. Felt very comfortable with her; she was thorough in her exam, asked many questions, provided information as to how to deal with my situation. GREAT courteous staff. Clean & comfortable exam room. Appointment on time as scheduled. Dr. Healy and her assistant explained details well prior to my prior to procedure with options.

I met with Jennifer lee for facial redness and associated treatment. Ended up doing a vbeam session and I’m one day post treatment. All went well and her staff is great. I do have an issue with their payment policy though. I was forced to pay for the entire service two weeks in advance. I find this to be unprofessional and adds an air of ‘cheap’ to the services. Also, when does a person pay for a service in advance? Manicures, doctor appts, massages, etc. they really need to revisit this policy and although I was told they collect for ALL cosmetic services in advance, I highly doubt this. I think it reflects poorly on them and it made me question the legitimacy of the service, honestly. I went through with and am happy, but as a first time paitent, rubbed me the wrong way.

So disappointing. I was on hold waiting to make an appt for my 2.5 year old whose eczema has flared uncontrollably - I was asked for my insurance card which was in my purse. I told the receptionist that I will grab it quickly and she said she was sorry that she couldnt wait and hung up the phone on me! That has never happened to me before...such customer service.

I drove 40 minutes out of my way for an appointment I had made a month prior with Dr. Dick. When I arrived the very unhelpful staff informed me my appointment had been cancelled WITHOUT telling me and Dr Dick could not see me. They wasted over an hour of my time as well as a vacation day from work. Dont waste your time going to this place. Every experience I have had with them has been HORRENDOUS!UPDATE: The Executive Director personally called me to discuss my concerns and offered to help remedy the situation. He was very helpful/apologetic and listened to my concerns in order to make sure they didnt happen again for another client. I am willing to give them another try as my friends have had positive experiences here.

I started going here several years ago for a baseline skin check with Dr. Bussman. I continue to go for regular check ups and have had a few procedures: Mohs to remove a basal cell carcinoma, snipping a skin tag near my armpit, and removal of a mole on my jaw, all of which went off without a hitch and were done in a professional and skillful manner. I have complete confidence in Dr. Bussman, who patiently examines me from head to toe in her crisp -yet always friendly! - manner.

Dr. Cresswell was friendly, kind, he clearly explained what he saw, how he would proceed with treatment and what I should expect following my appointment. I would recommend him and Dermatology Specialists to anyone who needs treatment of their skin.

ERIKA REID if you have an appointment scheduled or would like more information.I had an appointment back in June, in which Dr. Reid came into the room for approximately 5 min, & was COMPLETELY pretentious, spoke over me as I asked questions and prescribed medication that WASNT COVERED BY MY INSURANCE after I specifically asked to make sure it was. It was truly clear that she didnt have regard for anything other than herself, and the money she was making from my appointment - which is even more true now. The prescription? Was ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS FOR ROSACEA CREAM - in which I was offered a coupon from Erika, and Walgreens didnt accept it. (The cream was newer to the FDA, regardless this should have been explained in depth)I called immediately after my appointment to discuss with the Office Manager and a Triage nurse regarding my experience in which I was told that the appointment is at NO COST - and Erika Reid was so sorry. I choose to not leave a review and just continue with my new doctor at another location.3 MONTHS PASS and I am called by the business office, articulating I owe $100 dollars for my visit. They told me they said on the phone back in June I could get a 2nd appointment for no charge, but needed to pay for the first. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I am now playing back and forth regarding the bill, and the Office Manager is saying that Dr. Reid is having you pay because technically she wrote a prescription.It is not about the money - its the principle AND TOTAL LACK OF PROFESSIONALISM.Erikas profile on the site reads: What is the best piece of advice you have ever received? In which she states: “The only way to do great work is to love what you do.”Some people become doctors to help people do great work and to love what they do - while others become doctors to screw people out of money, time, and energy.What a 3 month long joke. Easy scheduling as a first time patient.Registering was easy and my wait time was minimal. Assistants helpful and Dr Healey was thorough.

My family & I have seen Dr. Madhok at the Edina office for at least 15 years. We always get excellent care in a clean, professional & pleasant setting. It has been especially helpful for issues concerning rosacea, warts, & moles.

This is Barbara HallI am always pleased with my visits to Dr Cho. We talked about a new product Sunforgettable which she said was compliamentry at the front desk. When I ask for a sample they said it was only for sale $65. Why do you advertise compliamentry and not have them availble. I have trouble with sun spots and would have love to try it.

I have been going to Dermatology Specialists for a few years. I saw one of their doctors based on a recommendation from a friend. Im in my 50s and had acne at that time. All that doctor did was prescribe a face wash and when that didnt work, didnt offer any other suggestions. Several months later, I found out another friend went to this practice but saw Dr. Cho. I made an appointment with Dr. Cho and have found success with treating my acne, which has gone away, thanks to her suggestions. She took the time to listen to all of my concerns and always spent plenty of time with me. I now go in for cosmetic appointments and am very pleased with the results.
