Currently has low inventory due to Covid but has a great collection of trims to choose from. You can see the model and built to order online. I will surely recommend this showroom to all buyers.
John Kelly is the best car salesperson I have encountered. His customer service is exceptional. During the purchase of our Mercedes, he kept us up- to-date throughout the entire process - communication is key! Due to my work commitment, I was unable to drop off my car at the dealership and John came to our home (about a 45 minute drive) to drop off a loaner and pick up my car. As always, Ray Catena in Edison never fails to impress. After my car was totaled in the flood, I walked into the dealership nearly defeated. Paula was so kind while helping me look for a replacement. She was never pushy and completely understood just how sad I was that day. Even though I showed up 30 minutes before close she was able to show me a bunch of different vehicles and I walked out that night having made a deposit on a vehicle.. all within less than half an hour! I love my new car and would never go anywhere else!!
A few weeks before my previous car lease ended I went shopping for a new vehicle online, on the telephone and several dealerships in person to to gain lots of information to make an informed decision.At the Ray Catena of Edison dealership, I met a sales and leasing specialist Francesco Vendra and based on my own broad based shopping experience of the last few weeks after 15 minutes of discussion with Francesco I knew that I wanted him to assist me to get the new car.He never tried to influence me one way or another while he kept giving me objective, valuable, selfless information with respect my choices during the preparation, process and closure of the deal, taking pocessioncession of the car, using the sometimes not so simple and overlapping use of rich electronic features and follow up throughout the six months since I got the new car. Compared with my parallel experience with eight other sales agent who were good and okay Francesco is outstanding. If customer satisfactions a good indicator of quality customer care I give Francesco Vendra the highest marks on that measure.

Buying a Mercedes-Benz can be overwhelming especially if you are a first-time Mercedes-Benz buyer. I brought my daughter to this dealership (as she always wanted to get a Mercedes) and the agent given to us Tom Cola was just so warm and welcoming that the apprehension of going in the dealership went away. Tom made the process so easy and the wait was not bad at all, the best part was he got my daughter approved on her own....wow... he did not only explain the whole process so simply but got my daughters wish to have the Mercedes she wanted. This dealership just have a very friendly atmosphere....Thanks again Tom....you never know I might just as well get my next SUV with Mercedes-Benz. I wont be surprised if all Sales Representatives is like Tom...who would not want a Mercedes-Benz.

We were greeted upon entering the premises by the reception staff. They paired us w/ Ricky who have made the experience very easy and friendly. He was detailed in explaining everything. Upon Picking up the car, All the paperwork was all prepared as discussed in black and white, making everything a painless process. Ricky streamlined from Sales, Finance officer, and Tech specialist, (teaching you how to use your car). He goes above and beyond and offers assistance in making service appointments in case if there is an language issues. Ricky is Excellent.

I brought my car in due to low tire pressure. They filled the tire and I assume checked fir leaks. When they brought the car out, I asked if they could run it through the car wash. I was told no. Needless to say, the next day (Sunday), my tire pressure was lower than the day before. I took it to Mavis and they found the tire had a huge slash. Called the GM and have had no response. I tried to purchase my car there and the sales associates ignored me. Shame on them. Here’s a picture of what they missed.

We schedule the meeting with admin, arrived at show room. We met Ricky, he greeted us and offered us drinks (water, coffee, soda etc….). He give us the tour and showed us multiple cars . Took us for the test drive, awesome experience very nice dealer ship and Ricky’s expertise and knowledge is unmatchable. He is the best in the industry. My experience with my girl Paula was everything! Not only was she just as fabulous as ever but she showed me a different level of professionalism. I traveled almost a hour and a half to meet with her because of how sweet she was over the phone. I sat down at multiple different dealers and wasn’t sold at all but Paula got the job done!!! I would recommend any and everyone to her.

The level of Customer Service at this dealership is excellent. From initial phone call to set up appointment, to greeting upon arrival, and then the professionalism of Sales Representative Chuck Luciano - the team here could not have done more. I only wish they had the used car and features I was after so I could have purchased a vehicle here. Maybe next time as Ill absolutely give them another shot.
Decide for yourself: I bought Diesel Sprinter from Edison location in 2019. Buying process was smooth. 2 years and 40K miles later van has emission fault. Error message: Critical fault with less then 10 starts left. I call Edison Sprinter service and explain situation. They can only schedule in 2 month... I request emergency appointment based on the fact that van has less then 10 starts left. This is not routine service. Service department still unable to accommodate. No suggestion how to resolve or where to go.

They say dont trust anyone with two first names. Well they were wrong! Jim Todd IS to be trusted. He was very patient with me during the purchase of my first Mercedes because I was super nervous. He was very communicative and touched base with me as soon as he found out information. I got approved in 10minutes! Jim also took me on two test drives with the same model car! Offered sticker price for a 2021 S550, total was around $127,500 including taxes, tags and doc fee. Salesman said due to the chip shortage they will be a $7000 premium charge which I had a problem with. Basically they turn down a certified check for $127,500 because they wanted an additional $7000 due to chip shortages. This greed at its worse. Never knew Ray Catena Mercedes was this petty☹️

I loved my test drive, but that was because I decided on the car before I test drove it for what was the second time. The guy who took us on the drive was a bit dry as I was expecting him to highlight a lot of its many key features and at least try to convince us to buy the car, but maybe he was trying not to be the typical car-salesman guy. Either way, I loved the experience overall!
Im rating 3 stars because I stop in to see what cars the had on there show room floor looking forward to my next purchase it was about 15 people working no one greeted me or ask did I need any assistance. My 13 yr old son was with me and he want to see the car display up stairs which were older models of Ray catena special owned. The area was closed off and I was told someone needed to take us upstairs. Everyone said they were busy but it was only about 5 customers in there and 15 employees. So we waited until a older lady was nice enough to walk with us. I just expected better customer service.
Ask for Greg Giordano. Had a great experience at Ray Catena there service is leaps and bounds better than dealerships in the area. Greg got us the car we wanted even with the present situation and difficult market conditions with supply of new cars available.

I did maintenance for my GLE350 on August 18, 2021. After several hours, the guy told me they did not have an auto part at hand, someone will call me within one week. But 4 weeks past, nobody called me. I called the service line on September 23, 2021, but they did not have any records and told me I need to schedule if I need service. I reached the guy who helped me on my maintenane on August 18, 2021, he rembembered what he told me, but he said he did not know if the auto part arrived o not. He said he would check and call me back. But till now, September 20, nobody called me on this. Terrible experience.

I went there to buy a Porsche and non of the 2 doors they had on the display was for sale. For Porsche Targa I was told they were taking orders for 2023 which I found out afterwards that was not true.

I would give this place no stars if possible. I want to share my experience with future customers. Ray catena of edison has given the utmost poor service since I have visited them a few times. I went there twice now for a flat tire. They promise a 1 year warranty on their tires. However, I had my car tires changed by them in 2/2021 and now I have another flat on the same tire they changed. It has not even been an entire year and the tire has given up. When I called to get this tire fixed, the answer that was given to me was that they will not repair the tire for another 2-3 weeks because they are appointments are full and they can not accommodate at all. The main reason for this response is because I didnt buy the car from them and they do not want to help with this issue in a timely fashion. Per their policy, this tire has a 1 year warranty. However, I need to explore other facilities because they do not want to honor their commitment. I will never buy a car from ray catena or yet alone ever get my car serviced. I will email better business bureau for there faulty practices and false advertisement. A flat tire should be treated as an emergency and for them to offer me no solution and to tell me just deal with it is unacceptable. I want a refund for their faulty tire so I can get my car fixed elsewhere. I would advise others to be wary of buying a car here or any future services. Recommend to try other Mercedes location besides ray catena.

I would like to share my experience leasing my car for the second time and to thank the individual who made it possible, YELENA SCHLAGER. I first lease my car in the Brooklyn location with Yelena and after four years it was time for me to return it. I called that location and was told she was not at that location. I didnt know what I was going to do so I search social media until I found her and travelled to a different state where she changed to the Edison, NJ dealership and because of her expertise, and knowledge it left a great impression. I personally feel when you are making a big purchase you need someone who knows the ends and outs of the business and Yelena definitely handled everything from getting me the car I wanted to financing. I have leased cars for years but my experience at Mercedes-Benz of Edison last week was the best experience yet!!!! I hate going to car dealerships because they want to add on a bunch of fees at the end of the deal and you are there for an entire day. That wasn’t the case. Derrick Fox, our new favorite sales guy, got us in for a test drive, found the car I wanted, and had all the paperwork done in a matter of hours, while also keeping us laughing and entertained. Derrick was great!!!! Very professional and knowledgeable! My husband and I had a wonderful experience!!!

We bought Mercedes GLC-300 used car from Raycatena..Our Sales person was Scott, who did not had detail information about the car he was selling.. He told us it has Apple Car Play, but unfortunately on the day we purchased the car.. we get to know this particular model doesnt has car play, he conviniently says yeah I missed it..Next when I went to get a personalised number plate for my car, I signed the form, made the payment.. but there is no confirmation about registration from Ray Catena Mercedes.. The day when I went to sign the form.. they told me it takes around 6 months to get personalized number plate, which is okay.. All I need, is a confirmation about registrating the number plate and on which date did they register..I have been following up with Scott, since June.. he is conviniently being ignoring my messages and calls..I am still waiting to know exact date of my Vanity Plate registration...
I purchased my first Mercedes-Benz with Paula Gaillard who was exceptionally knowledgeable about the car I wanted to purchase, she came with us on our test drive and described many of the features and ability of this E-Class 2018 Mercedes Benz with an AMG package. The only down side was that Paula is very popular at the Dealership and it appeared that other sales personnel couldnt take over for her so we did have to wait a long time to get everything done. We arrived at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, 6/5/21 and didnt leave until 6:30 p.m. We did take a break for lunch at 3:30 p.m. but we returned at 4:15 p.m. and it still took a long time.
This is my fifth car with Ray Catena of Edison and the experience is always superb from beginning to end. Allyson Gutman has assisted us through the years and is absolutely wonderful! Bought my firs car in this dealer and service was great . But a have a second car 2020 and I went to get 10 000 miles service and recall . I got appointment given vin # . When my wife went to drooped, she couldn’t get back home because was denied a loaner car explained how we bought it out state we aren’t allowed to have this benefit . Where is costumer satisfaction of Mercedes Ray Catena . Can be policy of ray Catena to put down this brand of car . That it was very inconvenience for us .I have to leave early of my company to pick up her . What happened if this for a new car owner, what expect to owner of use car at time to do maintenance. Mercedes Benz is a great company around of the word .

Horrendous customer service! Will file a report with MBUSA ASAP. Ray Catena has went down hill at all three locations. Shame on them. Thank you for all the aggravation from receptionist(all), Mike Migliore, and of course the General Manager Doug Wells. Ray Catena (owner) you might want to focus on your car business, and maybe not the sail boats so much. Its your name on the business, and your employees seem to like insulting your customers.Doug Wells you are incorrect the issue I had at Mercedes-Benz Freehold was owned and operated by Ray Catena motor group. They left my window open, just so you know what happened. Rained all night called me in morning to pick my car up, then when I got there said something was wrong. They told me the dashboard was inoperative, and I had to pay for repair. I have voicemails, pictures, before and after my car was in your dealerships hands. The advisor tried telling me the windshield leaked. After they couldnt prove that they fixed the car. The only reason I took my car to your dealership was, because the Takata Airbag Recall. After I got my car back, I took it to a certified professional that works on Mercedes-Benz. I had to pay him to remove all carpets and dry the car out from the negligence of your dealership leaving my car window open. I should send you the bill, but I agree Id rather part ways with your less than average stealer ship.P.S. Sure looks like your Ray Catena owned garage in freehold ;-)

I went to Mercedes-Benz of Edison a few weeks ago with the thought that I would probably just be window shopping. I got to the dealership at 11AM, and 12:30 I was signing papers to lease a new Mercedes Benz A220. My salesman Allen Conklin was great. He was friendly and professional. What I liked most was that he didnt pressure me into anything. I explained what I was interested in, and he showed exactly what I wanted right down to the color choice. I didnt even have to haggle too much on price or my trade-in which was refreshing. I drove my new A220 home that day. Mercedes-Benz of Edison has a new happy customer.

So first i want to start by saying Vince SAVED our entire experience at Ray Catena! To explain : my fiancé and i came in as we were doing some car shopping and wanted to do a test drive to compare to another car we had in mind. We were paired with Allison and she was very off putting for lack of better terms and basically questioned if my fiancé could afford a Mercedes. Anyways back to Vince ( the best employee there ) when we left we called and explained we were interested in making an appointment to come back in but wanted someone else. When we came back we were paired with Vince. From the moment he walked towards us with a smile we felt more comfortable already!! Vince was extremely professional, personable, and knowledgeable on everything we needed. He followed up with us on all our questions and made sure we were 100% comfortable before our purchase. We just changed our lease and couldn’t have asked for a better salesman. I called in the morning and asked for Tim Antoniszyn per a prior google review. When we arrived he was ready to talk to us. He showed us the cars and we got the deal done same day. He gave us time to talk it over as a family and we were very comfortable throughout the process.
