Dr. Taylor is excellent.John is very accommodating! He helps me in my appointments and insurance billings. He gives me great options for what i need for my eye care.VAP
Awesome experience. Through exam and excellent consultation for frames. All done in the same day.
It was excellent. All the members were nice. They maintained social distancing and guidelines.
The staff was very efficient and pleasant. Instructions were clear. The Doctor was very through and patient discussing my issues.
Incredibly kind and caring staff. They go above and beyond to make sure your perfectly happy before you leave and double check to make sure the prescription is right if anything seems slightly off to them.
The ENTIRE staff was very professional and accommodating. I have not had this type of service in years. The doctor listened to my needs and provided everything I need to care for my vision. I will be referring family and friends.
The exam was great. I was taken on time, the exam itself was quick and thorough
Eye exam went well. Doctor was informative and answer any questions I had.
This was a follow up to finalize a contact prescription. The exam was quick. The issue came with ordering the lenses. One the doctor never discussed different lens options; there are a ton of daily wear disposables on the market. So you are locked into whatever they select, and the cost of what they select. Which brings us to the next issue, payment. A cost analysis and method of payment information should be provided at the initial visit NOT sprung on patients at the recheck. The fact that I was told a year supply would cost $600 with a $150 rebate at the follow-up visit and then expected to have $600 in CASH on hand or pay a ~$25 service fee for using a DEBIT card is ridiculous. It wasn’t even mentioned verbally, I didn’t notice until after I signed the receipt that the price was off & that there was an 8x10 sign posted (my fault but a new policy should be stated). For some the ~$25 difference could be the difference between the charge processing or not so when told the cost is $600 and $625 is charged that is an issue. When I asked about it, I was told cash only to avoid the service fee (after the fact). I was also told the rebate only applies to the purchases made there which may be the case but... When I went home I went to the LensCrafters website, the same site I make my appointments through, and discovered I could have ordered the contacts online with NO service fee and at the AFTER rebate price.TERRIBLE TERRIBLE business practices. I was in hurry so I just let it go but I can guarantee I will NOT be purchasing contacts from you EVER again (3 patients all with daily daily lenses). You should be ashamed!
Really friendly staff and an awesome Doctor.
Ive been coming here forever, and Ive never once been disappointed. You are going to pay more here than you would at a lot of other places, but the quality of the work is second to none.
Everything was very smooth. Employees are very kind. Doctor explained everything and what each test was for. Ordering my contacts was very easy. Not a long wait time at all so I had a lovely experience. Thank you for that !
I was very pleased with my experience. The doctor was very nice and caring. I felt very comfortable there and would recommend.
This was my third time coming in to have my contacts adjusted. Dr. Patel is very patient and understanding. I feel like I matter. The staff is very pleasant.
Love doctor Rajan, she always gives me her full attention and always tries to make sure I leave feeling comfortable and my vision is at its best. She is very professional.
The doctor did an ok job, however the front desk were impolite and did not do a good job explaining charges. I was charged at my visit, then received an invoice the following month for additional fees. When I called to complain, they basically told me to pay it or they would send to collections. I also continue to have issues with the prescription that was written for me (I paid almost $300 for glasses), and I am unable to wear the eyeglasses without getting nauseous. I will not go back there though for fear of extraneous charges that may occur without my knowledge.
Very good employee customer relations .
Well explained about eyes examination. Very quick response. No waiting time.
The staff is so nice and professional. The doctor takes the time with the patients and explains every aspect related to the eyes. Definitely recommend this place.
I had a decent experience when I visited. My wife had a bad experience with the front office. The appointment was fixed a week in advance, yet on the day of appointment, in the middle of her vision test, the Lady at the front office interrupted her and mentioned she didnt have the insurance coverage, and said she has to pay the full amount or stop the test. Apparently she had checked a different account. Later when I stepped in to query, she said everything was good. I doubt if the front office lady was even trained.
Horrible service. Requested the day off of work to get yearly vision test done. Verified insurance online and made the appointment. When I showed up the person at the desk said my insurance wasnt covered because I didnt have a specific plan and would have to pay out of pocket. I went to another chain store which verified that I did have the exact plan that LensCrafters said I didnt. Ridiculous.
Very attentive and kind staff. Very friendly and informative, will be sure to return for annual eye exams.
Staff are extremely friendly and very polite
I rarely write reviews, but I want to make sure no one else makes the mistake of going here. As other reviews have pointed out, the people at the front desk are not very polite. On top of that, they try to have you get retinal imaging exam done (as opposed to a typical exam with just dilation) and the way they frame it, it almost seems that the retinal imaging exam is just as good. In truth, retinal imaging is relatively new and recommendations indicate that it certainly should not be used to replace the standard dilation. The other difference is that, unlike regular dilation, retinal imaging is not always covered by insurance. All of this is fine and I have experienced this at other retail optometry practices, but what really prompted me to write this review was that they conducted an extended ophthalmoscopy (EO) on my mom while calling it dilation. Dilation is typically a part of your eye exam and should be done regularly. EO, however, is reserved for more serious issues such as blunt force to the eye or macular degeneration, etc. and is not covered by insurance. The doctor did not once clarify that what she was doing was not just dilation. As a result, we ended up having to pay for an exam that my mom did not need. The cherry on top of this was that the office could not provide my mom her PD number (something youll need to buy glasses online) because they were not allowed to by Lenscrafters, inside of which they are operating. This makes sense since it makes it harder to patients to buy glasses elsewhere, but it is also why I strongly recommend finding a private practice where the doctor is more concerned with the health of their patients eyes instead of where they may upsell you on unnecessary tests or expensive frames.TL;DR: Find a place that wont upsell you on unnecessary tests, are upfront about costs and what the exam includes, and have no vested interest in where you buy your glasses/contacts.
Dr Patel and her team were very professional and thorough, they have been clear and efficient all along, explaining the steps of the different checks and really caring about me as a patient . very much appreciated .
The ladies welcomed me with a smile. Everyone was very nice. I would recommend this office to family & friends.
Very friendly and professional
My husband, kids and I went to get our eyes checks at Contact Lens & Vision center in the lens crafter in Menlo Park Mall. We were examined by Dr. Hirangi Patel. She did a very thorough exam and answered all my questions. I am very happy that we were seen by her. I would highly recommend her. It is hard to find good doctors and I would give her 10 out of 10. The staff was also very professional and nice. Very pleased with the service.
Been going to the doctors for a long time. Always good care. 😀6/10/21 same great service.
Great experience
Service was prompt as hell. Natasha and Dapo kept me laughing as I tried to jam tiny bits of plastic into my eyeballs. 10/10, would put sand in my own eyes just to go back.
Staff is great, but NOT happy about having to go back 3 times to get my prescription right.
Quick and easy
Excellent.
Dr. Gelb has been my doctor for over 20 years and is an excellent doctor, I love that he always has innovative equipment and I really appreciate his patience, answer all my questions and solve all my doubts, but above all he cares about my integral health. Diagnosis my cataracts and because they are recent and I am not ready for surgery, he recommended a change in my diet and supplements which have made a big difference in me.
