Where do I start! From the moment we walked in we were greeted with nice efficient service! Bri was so nice and patient with us and was able to smoothly answer all my questions all while juggling appointments that were walking in(and everyone here knows what theyre talking about-no bs!). Every team member in this facility was just so helpful and so kind. I am so excited that we came here and we are ecstatic to keep coming here in the future. I definitely recommend these optical experts! Also- they are conveniently located not too far from the food court!

There are a few Stirling Optical locations, but the real difference comes within the people/employees. The one in Edison is wonderful! Sandy and Felix (co-managers) are both extremely friendly and helpful. They care about what looks good and do a pretty good job picking out frames that suite your face. I love my experience here and if you plan on getting lenses, do the Zeiss!!

I recently went into Sterling for a pair of glasses. Before I begin my review, I have to say that all of their staff members were very friendly and very knowledgeable. I did not fell pressured or felt like I had to make a decision. I tried on a lot of glasses before I made my decision and not once did any staff have an issue. After I received my glasses I had a minor issue which they corrected without no hesitation. If you ever need glasses, I would suggest that you come here first!

I used to get my glasses at another place in the mall for years but was never really happy there. The selection is awful and the people weve dealt with were not at all helpful at all, so I decided to try Sterling Optical. I am so glad I did. As soon as we walked up to the counter we were greeted by Felix who couldnt have been more helpful. Something I never got at the other place. I told him what I was looking for in a frame and he showed me several and they were all exactly the type I wanted. After picking a frame I love he explained the different lens and their prices, but never tried to push the more expensive one. I always had to get prescription sunglasses as I was told that I couldnt get Transitions because I have a prism in my prescription. I asked Felix about it and he said of course I could get Transitions. I was so excited to not have to have two pair of glasses. I asked how long it would take to get the glasses and he told me 3-5 business days which was a shorter time than it took at the other place. Not to mention I always had to call the other place after a week, only to find out the glasses had been sitting there for 2 days. Felix said they would be in Monday or Tuesday. I actually got a call o Saturday that they were ready! I was so excited to get them. The glasses are perfect, the prices were really good, the store has a huge selection and Felix was just the best to work with. The next time you need glasses, you should definitely try this store. I know I will be using then from now on.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Worst place ever!!! Very unprofessional, they don’t even care about their customer service. All they care about is making a profit. I’ve never been treated so unfairly in my life. Sandy and Manager Felix (who is actually the owner) were very rude. They have to let people know that sales are final from the beginning.All I wanted was to get a second opinion and they refused to cancel the order for me, mind you, I came back less than half an hour later. Only then did they tell me all sales were final. When I asked for a manager I was told there was no manager. I only found out there was a manager through my bank since I filed a dispute. I did it because I felt lied to and cheated to. Throughout this whole process the manager/owner didn’t even try to reach me out. He kept coming up with excuses. Sandy was very rude, nasty and unprofessional and even raised her voice to my sister and I and refused to show me the original receipt since mine is just a carbon copy that is barely readable. I DON’T RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE. As a franchise this location gives Sterling Optical a bad name.

Please avoid this place at any cost.. they are here to make money they are SCAMMER. If you dont order glass from here they will give you wrong prescription or they give you just one eye prescription. I didnt knew abt this until I ordered a glass online with the prescription given by the opthalmologist from this place. When I received my new glasses my right eye lense was zero power. Then I contacted the costumer care they told me that my prescription is only for my left eye... JUST AVOID THIS PLACE YOU WILL REGRET..

Worst customer services ever my brother and I went to get glasses we already had a prescription and the guy said that we can use the one my doctor said to use and he didnt even give the right lenses or the frame we asked for, he also said that we can get a refund and when we went to get a refund he said no and called mall security and then he offered to give me my lenses and frames that we wanted and then again he gave me the wrong one. Id advise anyone to not go here you will be ripped off and will lose money and time.

Sterling Optical in Menlo Park Mall is not only convenient it is excellent. The Staff is knowledgeable and always friendly. They will patiently go through frame choices with you and offer advice and suggestions on what looks the best, Sandy is particularly great to work with. On a recent visit they walked me through methodically what my Insurance plan covered. I highly recommend them.

Great place to buy glasses

I normally do not go out of my way to leave reviews however this felt necessary.I stopped by a few weeks ago for a regular contact and frame checkup. During my appointment I mentioned that the fitted contacts I was wearing gave me blurred vision in one eye. The Dr scratched something in his notepad but never gave me a different Rx lens for the fitting. I left confused and did not bother to ask trusting the doctor knew what he was doing. At the counter I was told if there are any problems I can come back for a follow up. Two days passed and I had to take the contact out, I couldn’t see out of my right eye. Long story short, when I went back to have this issue resolved, the Dr and staff made it seem as though it was my fault!I was so flustered and disappointed at the lack of experience, manner, and professionalism I simply asked the doctor to write my old Rx prescription so I can be on my way. Clearly this staffing is more concerned with their ego than meeting their clients needs and addressing their concern.I will NEVER do business with Sterling again and unfortunately will have to file a claim with my insurance for the first time.

Five stars aren’t enough — Felix and his awesome staff are wonderful and knowledgeable! When I called to make an appointment with the doctor, the associate walked me through all the steps needed to schedule a visit and booked me for the next day. Once I arrived, I was impressed with their COVID safety precautions and felt safe shopping for my new glasses. I was in the chair within five minutes of arriving (right on time for my scheduled appointment) and after an extremely pleasant eye exam, I was ready to pick out my frames. Felix helped me out by showing me several frames, making recommendations on what would look best, and offering his extensive expertise on the types of lenses they offer. He is very polite and answered every question with a smile! The best part — prices no other optical can beat. If you’re looking for new frames and an eye exam, look no further and head to Sterling Optical at Menlo Park Mall ASAP!!!Thank you to Felix and the staff for your exceptional service! My sister and I went to go get a contact exam so we could get contacts. Robert Tandler, the doctor there was extremely rude to us for no reason. I would not recommend this place at all.
