As a woman, getting my car fixed has always been intimidating. I don’t know enough to know when what I’m being led in the right and honest direction. Well, I can now gladly say I have found a shop I trust! Even though the fix I needed was not inexpensive, when all was said and done they did the work for over $400 under the estimate and 3 days earlier than expected! That’s huge! They are respectful and made me feel genuinely cared about! I am a very happy customer !!

I love Carlos and his team! I have been bringing my car here for nearly 10 years and I’m always so impressed by their professionalism, fairness, and honesty. Carlos and tony were the best, especially, Carlos. Real quality customer service at this spot. Had a wheel alignment done. Staff is super nice and friendly. Will definitely be coming back here again.Update 12/2020 - recently went back for a check up. My radiator was leaking and they quoted me $600 for parts and “3 hour” labor. Went to Daniel’s radiator shop, bought the part myself and was installed for $125. Do your research before being pressured to buy a service.

I have been going to la Mesa auto and tire for 18 years now and wouldnt take my cars any where else! They are kind courteous and fair. My kids even take there cars there and we never have to worry. We know they will always be honest and take good care of all of our family. I love this place!

I’ve been going to Matt for auto repair since the ‘80s. I’ve since graduated from college, married, widowed. Second relationship, three kids, and now one is getting ready to drive. I wouldn’t trust my family’s cars to any one else. Matt is like family, and he’d rather have his customers in a safe vehicle than make a buck.

Did a great job a reasonable price.

They charge $50 for diagnostic test then they gave me wrong diagnosis to change Axles. Eventually I ended up with $500 without any benefit and the problem of my car was not solved. I don’t recommend going there, try to find someone who knows what he should do.

They live in the community and are apart of it, so they seem to care about their customers and reputation. They did great for for me and close to home.

Blew out a tire early one morning and rolled into their parking lot. Changed to my spare while waiting for them to open up. Once they opened i explained my situation and was told if i didnt have an appointment Id have to wait until the afternoon. I was the only customer present... Like everyone i had things to attend to and waited for discount to open and they fit me in. I wasnt impressed by the need to have an appointment when im the only guy there... They werent jerks about it but be advised you may not get what you need without an appointment.

I found a nail in my tire, and have them check it. It turns out it is ok. The service is quick. They are nice people
