I have gone to Trust Auto at 537 Main in El Cajon for various car repairs over the years. I can rely on them to be honest and have a good price. It’s been hard for me to find a good repair shop with those qualities. I appreciate their courteous way of explaining things and letting me know when my car will be finished. One of the worse places to fix your car at he said he was gonna fix my A/C and he didnt. He didnt even call me to tell me whats wrong with it and why he couldnt do it had to find out when I went to pick it up at 5pm thinking it was fixed and he had my car for 6 hour

Definitely living up to their name, they could have sold me a catalytic converter but instead they told me it still has a warranty on it and directed me to the correct place.

This auto repair is the best in El Cajon, dont even bother looking anywhere else. Michael is very experienced and takes good care of all cars sent to him. Had many car sent to him over 2 years, no issues at all. Im very satisfied with everything.

I go there to get my smog checks, but I needed windshield wipers put on my husbands car. Because my husband & I couldnt do it ourselves I took the car to Trust Auto Repair & they were more than happy to do it for us. They didnt ask for any $$ but I gave the guy $20 anyways.

Mike was great. They have been in buisness 30yrs. Went above and beyond when it came to fixing my truck. Took their time and did it right.

I took my Chevy to him because I was having trouble with my Turbo I took it to the dealership they charged me 1800 which is extremely high so I took it to Trust And Auto and Matt Michael and he help me fix my turbo charger for less than half that price in this company is amazing they are so trustworthy especially for being a female I appreciate all the help they gave me I will definitely take my car back to them forever.

I have been using them for years. I have to say, they are about as nice as they get. I am a business owner also and I see how Mike talks to his customers. He really goes out of his way to do things right.

I wanted to keep this review short and brief but I will tell my whole experience. I had a tick sound on the left driver side. Previous mechanic told that I have to change the left control arm but on that moment I did not have a time. And the price he offered was $150 (all included). After a week I went to Trust Auto Repair (different shop). I explained the tick sound issue on my car. The manager told me It can cost up to $250(which was extremely expensive), on top of that he told me they cannot repair it instantly cuz they had a lot of customer (which I did not believe at all). I sad thanks for you time maybe next time. I got into my car and started the engine. Suddenly he came back with his mechanic to check the issue and told me it will not be more than $180 and they can do it within 3 hours. I thought It is not a bad deal and I agreed. They told me the sound is coming from axle and they were very confident about it. I mentioned about my previous mechanic and about left control arm. But still they were confident. Anyway, I left my car and came after 3 hours. The car was ready to pick up. On top of that I had an appointment and I was running a lil bit late. Guess what, the sound had not gone at all which drove me crazy. I made U turn and said to them that there is a still tick sound and it is not fixed at all. The mechanic took a ride and he sad he cannot hear anything. But the sound was obvious. They just said to come another time and they will look at it again.CONCLUSION: Waste of money $156. Waste of time almost 4 hours. Lost the appointment. The most important thing is the problem is NOT fixed. Now I am not even sure whether they have changed the axle or not.Besides, my friend also went them to fix his car and they sold him defected tire. See the picture below.Just avoid this shop. The worst experience in my entire life. AVOID AVOID AVOID. I would give zero star If I could. Those 5 star reviews probably given by their acquaintance. I dont recommend this shop at all. Despite the name is Trust Auto Repair, do not Trust them.

I wouldnt even give him half star but I had to. I went to this place to replace light for my car, the owner of this place his name is mike told me its 88 $ and after that I find out its not even 20 $. take my advice dont go this place he will take more money from you, poor management, awful customer service, high price comparing to the other market Avoid Avoid Avoid. This place is sucks dont trust mike.

A guy named Mike pretend to be the owner of the business is every rude and disrespectful. I took my BMW to fix a water leak in the radiator. After three days, the car was over heating and the same problem occurred. He refused to fix it again and pretend to be busy!! Also, he refused to accept a credit card charge to pay for my bill. Its probably to hide income and not pay the sales tax!! Disgusting!
