Its been a while since my last time visiting a Best Buy store, before the pandemic started, the store was well stocked and the customer service was great.
Havent been in one in years, until this visit. They havent changed. Still not worth a visit.Im this particular case, it was apparently more important to the stores management to preserve their profit than to have a demonstrator available for the one computer chair they actually seemed to carry. At well over three hundred dollars, buying one without being able to try out the fit would have been foolish.
Honestly Best Buy is one of my favorite stores to buy cellphones, TVs and all kind of tech or electronics but the last time I visited one of their stores I was looking for a cellphone for my dad and he wanted one unlocked so I asked if the one that I was choosing it was compatible with the retailer my dad has and they said yes all unlocked cellphonesare, so I bought it and two days later when I was setting it up it didnt work because it wasnt compatible so I had to go back and returned it plus they wanted to charge me the 35 or 45 fee for opening the box when clearly was their fault since I asked before buying the cellphone but at the end I was able to talk to somebody and explain the situation and as always they were nice and help me. But they made me waste my time at the beginning.
Great place but low on stock on many things. I realize that is not their fault but there it is.

Horrible experience in geek squad with one of the technicians or associates since the moment she asked me what I needed, and explain her the problem I have with the iPad, she was very rude, condescending, and I’m sure some who loves their job will do above and beyond for their client. After she told me that she can’t help me with my issue for because I used my guarantees twice which was not true! So after the horrible experience, I decide to spoke with the manager and they didn’t wanna call him, I mean when you say I want to speak with the GM I’m expecting talk to the general manager. I just wanted to express how poor the service was, because I work client service and never in my life I treated someone in that way. If you don’t like what you do! Cmon is not clients fault. That’s why i prefer shop online. I wish we have another place to buy electronics.
This trip, very good actually, and I think they were heroic during the pandemic. I still cant forget how it was impossible to get them to book some car audio repair a few years ago! A level of frustration with just paying their price for a service they say they offer, that sticks with you when they just cant get you scheduled for a simple deck install. The retail life cycle, I guess. It averages out to a pale shade of gray over time.
The only place in the valley that has computer parts. If youre going to fo somewhere to buy a TV, Computer, pretty much any tech, this is the place to go. I wish they were a bit closer to town, but hey thats a minor inconvenience for me.
Just like any other Best buy. Best shot of finding electronics before Walmart or Target or online.
Fast and great service! I was in and out within a matter of 15 min. They helped me get a new cellphone and i was really satisfied.

Made a purchase online to buy a ring doorbell it was a refurbished item and also promising 4 days will be ready for pickup place the order on Monday full purchase. The item was not ready until 4 days after Thursday so it took one whole week for an item I had to go pick . I sent them an email never got a response I called them I was on hold for 40 minutes but they want to blame everything on the pandemic still next time Im going to Costco 😡😠😡👎👎

This is the best place in the Valley to get your electronic devices and other appliances. It is nice to have a big business such as Best Buy that focuses solely on electronic products. I recommend coming here and checking their website for the best deals.
They got a lot of great tech and the team is very helpful. If you go for computers check out geeksquad they are the experts, most regular staff wont really know lol
I love going to Best Buy on Thursdays! The Buffalo Wild Wings next door has a special on wings on Thursdays. The carpet is always clean.

I returned an 8GB I7 HP ENVY 2 in 1 laptop because it was overheating and the touchscreen wasnt responding to the touch. I took it in to the customer service desk and explained my concerns. I bought the laptop 14 days prior, but the young lady told me that since I bought it in between October 13 and the end of the holiday season, all customers have an extended return period until January 2, 2021. I was able to exchange my laptop for the same model, hoping that I just happened to purchase a lemon on my initial buy. The customer representative even walked me to the floor to show me other laptops with similar characteristics as the one I bought for comparison purposes. The representative told me that if I do an even exchange for the same model, try it out to see if the same problem persists; I could either return it for a refund or purchase a different model with no hassle. So that is what I did; were closely monitoring the performance of this laptop for any unforseen circumstances. Only downfall was the extra ginormous charge for accidental damage protecting ranging from 150.00 per year to 350.00 for 3 years. I already have the Geek Squad protection that I renew every year for 199.00. I was told that it did not cover accidental damage like spilling coffee on laptop or dropping it. Best Buy should just include tech repair, software installation and accidental protection in one package. Other than that, the female representative really went all out in making my buying experience a good one.

Terrible! Looking for a Dell laptop. Spent 45 min with salesman that didnt seem to know anything. Picked an Inspiron. He immediately told me they werent available. Buy or order. Every single one he showed me was unavailable. He knew when we started. When I told the dept manager that was laughable. She told me I am not smart enough to understand. Never will I set foot there again. Every experience I have ever had at a best buy, anywhere, has been unpleasant and difficult.
TVs, PCs Notebooks. Appliances, check (((Best Buy))) first. Staff is very helpful and professional too.
Lower your prices ..we are in 2021 now. Almost $40 bucks for a simple pair of headphones.

Bought a small Bose shower speaker, LE-Bose Micro SoundLink for Tia Rosa. Packs a punch for a 4 speaker and very nice sound - $100.00. Thought it was a bit pricey compared to other small speakers but we liked the sound and it held up at volume.

I got the message that my order was ready and I drive 40miles to go pick it up. When I got at Best Buy, I waited 15 mns for the employee to come over and say that she was sorry but they were not allowed to release the game. I told her why I receive a text to come and pick it up all she kept saying was I dont know and I am sorry for the inconvenience.

Great deals match prices beware of what you buy because you need to check the site it may be cheaper the next day if canceled a couple of orders bought a better TV three days after I bought the original TV for half the price love it

Best Buy has an employee by the name Zee she is great. Zee was professional, friendly, and she made sure I had the best deals. She explained everything in great detail. I highly recommend Best Buy in El Centro best service I have ever received.

I bought a digital game code that was not active. I went to customer service and was told I had to call Xbox. Xbox told me the problem was with the merchant. I go here again and was told the serial number did not match the one that was sold to me. Manager was trying to say I changed the code and was trying to rip them off. No exchange and only offered a discount for a new one. They sold me a bad product and now lost $30. Good job best buy!

Always love going here for my electronic device needs. Everyone is very attentive and give great customer service. Always above and beyond. Last Wednesday I went in to purchase protective cover and screen protector for my new phone and as they installed it phone was shut off when turning it back on it did something odd on the screen the sales member didnt dount to consult geek squad to verify it was all working properly. He didnt have to do it but he did it anyway to give me some piece of mind. I appreciate it!!

They dont price match for big items. Ive been denied twice by the same assistant manager (who by the way doesnt wear a name tag). He claimed that the item was not the same model when it clearly was. I ended up ordering the laptop from the manufacturer website that had it on sale (I just have to wait for the item to arrive). I even tried ordering the laptop through a best buy sales representative through the phone just for the fun of it and they did price match, so how is it that when I went to the store they werent able to do so? I guess they must be doing well in numbers and dont need any extra sales. Ill be contacting corporate to let them know about this matter.

The store is amazing what ruin it are the employees. If you know what youre going to buy then go here but try to need as little help as possible from the stores team. Theyll just recommend you the most popular item regardless what they know about it usually the more expensive and not always the best items.

Great prices on major electronics and appliances. Great warranties available at a reasonable price. Cables and many accessories are way more expensive than their competitors. Customer service product knowledge is not what it used to be. Since theyre competing with online stores now, customer service is key to giving us a reason to to shop there.

Needed an external hard drive to save all my stuff. They were able to help me find what I needed. 2 weeks later, I had to do a factory scrub of my laptop due to viruses. Luckily everything was back up.
Joe Anthony helped educate us on laptops for my daughter. Joe and the store manager were very knowledgeable on their products. I just had to give them an A+ on product knowledge, patience, and courtesy. Keep up the great work Best Buy El Centro.
