We walked in, no reservation and in 10 minutes i was driving a big box truck home. Staff was very polite and helpful at the beginning and when I was returning the vehicle. Very happy with the service.

If you dont have time to read the whole review, just go to the uhaul at this location: 3107 East Paisano Dr, El Paso Texas 79905.We are from the Dallas area and came to El Paso to collect furniture from a family member. Before we left for El Paso, we reserved a truck online on a Thursday. We planned to drive the truck, one way, back to Dallas the following Tuesday. They made sure to charge us the $1000+ rental fee on our way up there to El Paso.On Tuesday we organized furniture and went to pick up the truck at this location in El Paso. After giving both the name and number for the reservation, they could not give us the truck we had reserved 5 days prior.The guy at the desk told us he texted us ahead of time they would not have the truck we needed available, which was a lie, we never got a text. He then proceeded to send us to a different uhaul location and said he personally called that store to let them know we were coming. We drove to the other location only to find out that he lied again because that location was not even open yet. When it did open they said they never received a call.The new uhaul location we were sent to opened slightly early for us, found our reservation, and had a much better attitude.I hate giving bad reviews, however the solution would be to take your business to the uhaul location at 3107 East Paisano Dr, El Paso Texas 79905.

This was by far the worst moving experience ever. We got a truck and trailer to load our belongings and pull my vehicle. During our 8-10 our trip to San Antonio, we broke down TWICE. Turning our trip into 18 hours long with our 2 dogs and my pregnant self in the middle of the Texas desert in the summer. We also have damage to our personal vehicle that was caused when our trailer tires BLEW and sent our trailer flying off the ground. We got to our destination almost a day late and no longer had the movers we originally arranged for and being already a day behind schedule, decided to hire different movers with the money we had remaining. We hired them through Uhaul help which, unbeknownst to me, pulls funds from your account BEFORE a moving company agrees to take the job. That company declined the service within 120 seconds (the amount of time they’re given to respond to the request). I went to select a different company and couldn’t because the funds were pulled from my account for the other company (I didn’t know this until the page kept not refreshing and checking my account balance), leaving my balance insufficient and unable to book someone else. I have contacted customer service via chat to no avail, I have called and waited on hold for almost an hour in the middle of a move with a tight time restraint to continue listening to the music recording before finally hanging up and have even called corporate to try and see if they could just credit us movers for all of the inconvenience and nothing has been done. I feel so defeated. On top of not having movers and paying for a service, we now have to come out of pocket to have our vehicle repaired. Though we paid extra for insurance, it would cost us more time and frustration trying to get uhaul to cover their damages. I do not recommend Uhaul services ESPECIALLY from Dyer location in El Paso, Texas. After waiting hours for roadside assistance twice, it turns out our tires blew because the Dyer location put the WRONG tires on the trailer. Like WHAT?? Don’t waste your money here. If you can afford to pay more elsewhere, I highly highly HIGHLY recommend doing so. It’ll save you more money in the long run and a lot less frustration.

I completed a reservation online and did the quick check-in the night before, indicating my towing rating and hitch type. I originally requested same day, one way/ in town trailer 5x8 and when I arrived at opening time, the staff was very nice and put together the right ball and drop hitch for my truck, as I have a custom lift. They also were easy to work with and allowed me to upgrade to the open trailer with the ramp and reserve the trailer until the following morning. The only reason I didnt provide 5 stars is because the staff seemed too busy to provide a greeting when I first came in the store, even though I was the only patron at 7:05AM.

Made an appointment to get a hitch placed on my car. Dropped it off 2 hours early and rented a truck so I can still have a car. They started on time told me it would take 2 hours. They took almost 4.5 hours to do it. I arrived and they kept saying it will he done on 10 minutes. Took over 40. At least I got a 10$ discount

Absolutely terrible service. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM!!! Reserved a truck for 29.99 and purposely over estimated myileage as I knew I was only traveling 3 miles from the location and 2 to my destination but said I would use 20 miles just to be safe. Left being charged $55 and some change. No problem there. Truck was under 1/4 tank when I got it and I was told just put it back where you see it and it will be fine. Did just that. Also was told I had the reservation until 11pm and to just turn the keys into the drop box when finished. I get a phone call around 8 pm saying because the store is closed we cant verify when you turned it in so theres a $20 fee for overnight use. Then I wake up to an additional charge of $72.89 on my account. Fast forward to today theres another random charge of 128.65 and nobody has an explanation. DO NOT USE UHAUL. WILL NEVER COME HERE AGAIN!!!

It used to be a pretty good place. I owed $338 but they would not accept a partial payment or try to work something out with me, when they had done so before. I guess it worked out for both of us though because I was able to settle for half and move to a better place called Extra Space storage down the street. The same climate controlled unit with Extra Space is $66 AND has insurance included, instead of paying $90 a month with Uhaul and NO insurance. Also Extra Space Storage offers better service and the same quality of unit.

As a whole, U-Haul is petty overpriced, but the service is good. If you are doing a one-way move, would recommend getting a quote from Budget first. Then call U-Haul and see if they will price match. I saved $200 by doing this.Also, never buy storage here. You will get the same quality for half the price at Extra Space storage.

Reserved a large rental truck a week in advance. Showed up bright and early to pick it up.... sorry sir, we dont have the size truck you reserved. Reserved means to set aside. Hold for you. Have available. Nope, here, take this smaller truck.... hope your stuff fits.

Do not go to this uhual location. The employees suck. They are unaware of everything going on. I was supposed to be getting a hatch installed and the employee didn’t even know that he needed additional parts until taking the whole bumper off and having me wait a hour. This place is HORRIBLE

Extremely slow. I feel like they work slow on purpose. No sense of urgency. I’m waiting in line currently. Been waiting here for 30 mins so far. While they talk about their life with the customers. Never again. Will be using Penske.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I have had this unit for over 6 years. I have them on autopay through my bill-pay service. They have received more than 72 payments on time. This month, July 2013, my check disappeared. Rather than call me so I could look for it and/or find out what happened, they just sent me a nasty Late Notice with a $15 late fee on it. I called my bill pay and they called U-Haul to explain that the payment had been ordered and mailed on time by them and requested a courtesy removal of the late fee. This company REFUSED! They would rather have their $15 fee than keep a 6-year customer that has paid them over $6,000. Im moving my business elsewhere.Update - When I made the final payment, collected my things and closed the account, they were nearly abusive that I had the audacity to want to move my account elsewhere! This company needs to close!

I went to this location about 3 weeks ago to pick up a Ubox, which I had reserved on Uhauls website. I wont recount the entire transaction but it amounted to 2 hours of wasted time, a lot of frustration and my leaving with a very sour taste in my mouth. I saw the store manager the next day and that interaction did not provide any reassurance. Since that time, the regional manager, Juan, has called me and tried to make things right. He is the first person to act in a professional manner. He said this transaction would be looked at and used to better train the staff at that location, which I think is sincere. Just be careful if doing business with this location and dont be surprised with delays.

Horrible experience! Employees are order takers very unprofessional, rude, with limited capacity to resolve a problem. Johnathon and Daniel Parra, I recommend you take a course to expand your knowledge in client services. Your poor vocabulary and lack of expertise will not take you beyond a robotic order taker job, expand your education and learn something instead of acting like imbeciles making jokes and laughing while youre attempting to assist a client. Oh and Johnathon no buddy you dont deserve my respect you failed miserably!! But im sure youre used to that right?

Reserved a 26 truck, only had a 17 when I arrived. Ended up having to to triple my milage and instead of the $60 quote I ended up paying $100. Stay away from these crooks.

There is always an issue at this location when it comes to getting propane. Tank isnt certified (yes it is), there isnt anyone that fills tanks at the moment, and there isnt propane. Always an excuse! Too bad I have to rate it one star to leave review otherwise Id rate it zero

I made a reservation online, when I arrived the young man (Daniel) at the counter wouldnt allow me to rent the vehicle because his computer said that he didnt have any available for local use, ONLY for 1-way out of town! I had to call corporate, which transferred me to regional office and they immediately called and had the clerk issue me a truck. Poorly trained staff! Disappointed with the lack of assistance I had in person.
