Time of hours is in correct. Tried calling the location to confirm.hours and its impossible to reach customer service. Hours online show 6pm, drove got there a little after 5pm, since some people work 9-6, figured since I am off, but no they closed at 5pm. Please correct hours of operation at least! Thank you.
The worst experience of disconnect between department and misinformation ever. I asked to cancel my service. Was told fine its disconnected. Come to find out 4-5 months later that they were still billing me via autopay which i assumed would be automatically turned off on their end due to cancelation of service. Said that i only cancelled the install of fios tv, not the internet! But that was their interpretation not mine. Because i remember distinctly asking to cancel my account, which is all inclusive! Not part or half the order but my whole account! The customer service rep spoke to me like I was wrong and talking crazy!? I mean, does it mean when someone tells you to close my account! If it were a bank or any other business, i think its universally understood that you want zero service and for all bill to stop correct?! Optimum never again!

0 Stars. The worst service in all areas. I scheduled an appointment to add a new box, I stayed at home all day long, no one came or called. I contacted Optimum and they said appointment was cancelled, and they can scheduled another appointment but I will be charged $59.99, or if I want to have the box delivered a week after and do it myself. I still dont believe the kind of service they are offering. They cancel appointments themselves so customers call back and pay for everything, they charge for checking the router, they charge for changing their old equipment, they charge to fix the bad service they are giving. Burglars. Terrible service, no more Optimum.
I scheduled an appointment with a live agent for Friday 2pm to 5pm and my husband waited from 1pm until after 5pm and no one came or called. I contacted Optimum and they tried to reschedule for the following Thursday, days away. I asked several times what facility was open on Saturday and was given the website for locations. I asked if the information was up-to-date because it shows hours stating they were closed on the Memorial Day. He said yes they were up-to-date. So today here I am all the way in Elizabeth, NJ one of the 2 facilities that says it has Saturday hours and its closed. I got to meet several other confused customers who was told this location was open. The most helpful people I talked to at optimum was the guy that took my money and gave me the no show appointment and the 4th person that attempted to contact the other open location in Wall, NJ and he truthfully told me couldnt. I applaud that last guy. All I want is the truth can you help me no, ok then. I wont waste my time running in circles. I will work on this Monday when the place next to my house is open. Thanks for wasting my time, money, and gas Optimum.

No one showed up, called or texted.This is the most poorly run company Ive ever dealt with... And this is for a new customer experience... Imagine if there was a problem and had to deal with these incompetent poorly managed employees.Stay away if possible.And, dont fall for the bot response... Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this extremely poorly run company.

Everytime I call, instead of talking to this location directly I get punched into customer service. Customer service is a 50/50, where half the time theyre not clear and their English is limited. It is usually on those calls, that they will even hang up on me mid-call. No accountability, because FORBID if you need to talk to a supervisor. The actual internet quality is shoddy AT BEST, and have constant issues with their billing department.This message will probably earn some sort of generic, bot response, dont fall for it. Terrible internet service, terrible billing, terrible customer service. Terrible company.

Lack of professionalism and efficiency.
Horrible service! I have multiple technitians come to my home to get the issues fixed and they all said it was something different. Ultimately, went over to the office to cancel service and the staff there had an attitude with other customers. We get it, times are tough specially with the social distancing going on but the attitude was not necessary.
Prices are too high you have to pay for your movies you come here to the office the lines are too long and they charging us too much money to watch TV I protest against it I dont like it

I recently ordered optimum to be installed to the location I’m moving and when I received the appointment confirmation my address was incorrect.I’ve called multiple to update my address which they still don’t seem to get correct and recently the appointment date is different on their end and not what I’ve received on their confirmation. They haven’t installed anything yet and it’s horrible!!!

HORRIBLE COMPANY, HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Had a tech appointment scheduled today with a 8-11am window. It is currently 11:48am and still NO SHOW!! Been on hold OVER 20mins and still waiting on hold!! Also internet service is slow and buffers all the time!! Never had any of these problems when I had Comcast!!!!

Optimum is a treasure. Newly renovated, very clean and comfortable. Peter gave me an amazning massage. I lived in Hong Kong for ten years and had foot massages regularly. Since returning to New Jersey 2 years ago, Ive been unable to find a good foot massage in the city. I will definitely be a regular customer. THE WORST CABLE COMPANY I EVER HAD. Connected New service for my 89 year old grandmother on July 1, 2020. On July 3rd the internet went out. Its now July 8 still no internet. Sat on the phone for 4 HOURS YESTERDAY waiting to speak to someone. Just for them to tell me to shut off the modem and turn it back on. I DONT PAY, SO YOU CAN TELL ME TO TURN IT OFF AND ON EVERYDAY. Today Im back at my grandmothers and AGAIN NO INTERNET. Been waiting on the phone for an hour. Will probably wait another 4 hours im sure of that. HOWEVER, WHEN THE BILL GETS HERE... THEY WANT THIER MONEY. WELL I NEED MY DAMN TIME. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY.

Optimum WiFi and tv isn’t good the internet does work it turns on for like 5 minutes and then turns off for the whole day no video service so I can’t watch tv and they sent someone to fix it and they never fixed it and then we called 4 more times and they charged $80 each time to my bill and it’s not working we called again they sent a guy and the guy took the cable box and the romote he put a new box and it was only for the internet so I can’t watch tv and the new internet box isn’t even working optimum is junk I won’t be paying for it anymore.
The employees are amazing but Optimum needs to be more up front about the formalities when setting up the cell phone service. I was unable to sign up because my home has two numbers, never experienced this problem before been a customer for over 15 years

At the pinnacle of failed consumer experience, Optimum takes the cake for being one of the worst cable companies to provide: internet and tv service. On numerous occasions, would the Altice box given to use malfunction and we would have to call in a technician to come fix the issue; which would take days. Not to mention how the one technician that came by, did not even ring the doorbell, and simply left. Another technician-supposedly his supervisor-had to come and fix the issue. Now, when initially setting up device in my house, the idea was that the primary box would need the only cable; however; the technician set up cables going everywhere, practically ruining the modest environment of my house. Even a future technician helping us with another issue agreed that it should have been set up wirelessly. Anyway, Optimum will always be slower in internet because it uses coaxial cable, not fiber-which is the new mainstream for internet. Come to think of it, the only reason we wanted to switch was because of the deal, a deal which fell flat of appeal a year later.

Im giving this company a 1 star rate because Its the only way It would allow me to put a review.This is by far the worst company I have ever delt with. I began the service in April and I have only had issue after issue with these people. They are quick to take your money and bill you but not to provide a good service.Its been over a month and the 2nd box is still not working not that it ever did work only one box was programmed correctly and it took the tecnichian over 3 hours to install this. He said he didn;t have a ladder with him, who goes to install cable and internet to a house and doesnt have a ladder. Due to this he did a terrible job. He first drilled holes everywhere and because he supposably didnt have a ladder. I even had to provide him with a ladder because he was too lazy to get the ladder from his truck becuase I did see him get his ladder to do the connection in the streets. It is now May 14th and its always a story to come and program the box. RUNNNNN ......DO NOT CHOOSE OPTIMUM this COMPANY ITS NOT WORTH THE HASSEL AND THEY AINT EVEN CHEAP.LOOKING FOR OTHER INTERNET AND CABLE COMPANY ASAP!!!!!!!
I went to pay my cable bill, everything fine but I asked questions regarding the Sports Channel fee and was told that its a mandatory fee even if I dont watch it and there is also a Broadcast fee .
