Ordered fish and grits a while ago and it was good. Ordered delivery twice this week and omggggg!!! Packaged nicely and the beef bacon was cooked nice enough for me to put in my convention oven to rewarm the next day without getting hard. (I am a small eater so I split my order in half) The eggs and waffles were great too. The waffles were frozen but I like frozen waffles so didn’t care. Then ordered the Belgian waffle, beef bacon, salmon cakes and grits and it was all great! I love breakfast and to order from somewhere that doesn’t serve pork is a plus plus plus for me!!!! Halal means the animals are not tortured so while we eat meat, this is the way to go!

Google said they were open, but they were not. Restaurants should keep their schedule up-to-date in google; so people dont end up wasting their time driving just to find out they are closed.

Cash only credit card machine never works. His response is always the same ; the machine is not operating properly it must be the wifi he says. Note I ordered on two different occasions on two completely separate dates. So that tells me you have no consideration on providing a simple customer service experience for guests.

This place has the best gyro sandwich I had in my life. No joke, the food was delicious and clean. The service was over excellent. The prices is right. I will have to go again and try their home made dishes. Food was delicious and tasty. I enjoyed my meal in here. Highly recommend.

The sandwich looked nothing like the picture of a fluffy bun with breaded chicken. Instead, it was chopped, grilled chicken in a wrap with cheese sauce.After I raised my concern that the cheese had not been mentioned, the cook quickly went to make it again, rather than any mention of a refund.I had clarified at the start that it would be fine to pay by credit card, but at the end, the cook was making a big issue of it. The menu said $6.99, then he stated $7.50, then charged me $8. When I questioned the disparity, he said it was the fee for the machine, then said it was tax, then started gesturing to the chalkboard for his disclaimer, ending up settling on one about tax. These people are liars.

Ive lived in Elizabeth NJ since 96. Honestly a great experience every time. Food is also good. Havent had a bad meal yet. Their Gyros and breakfast menu is on point. The employees here are all respectful and give excellent service.

Today was my first time ever going to Halal Central Diner and it will NOT be my last!!! The food was so amazing and the workers were really nice! Great experience. I order fish, shrimp and grits! The best fish and shrimp I’ve ever tasted!Your new faithful customer Taysha

Love this place. I usually get the same thing: french toast, scrambled eggs and bacon. Its fresh and delicious! Oh and they will never ever serve you old coffee. Totally recommend!

First time going here the food was good, staff was very nice and respectful, the prices are also good as well. The only reason I am giving it 3 stars is because it was kinda of dirty in their. The tables weren’t clean, when I went to sit down to eat I had to remove the trash and put it in another table and after I received my meal and also after I was done eating it no one had picked up the trash that was on the table their was about 2 or 3 tables like that, that was the main factor and it kind of made me feel uncomfortable because of that. So keep that in mind when you go there. There were other staff member their that could have cleared the table but they didn’t, they need to be more on top of that because it kinda of grossed me out. Other then that food is good

Every member of the staff is friendly and very observant. Theyll bring you toothpicks if they see you trying to clean your teeth, theyll bring extra napkins if they see you wiping your hands on your pants. Small little diner, really comfortable experience.

No pork products so if your like bacon for breakfast this is not a place for you. However anything else is delicious!

Food is ok. Definitely not fresh. And if youre looking for Halal chicken platter that you usually buy from Truck, its not the same. It doesnt come with white and hot sauce and chicken is in a chunk sized. If youre buying bufallo chicken wings, its not really one because its a regular fried chicken topped with little bit of buffalo hot sauce on top. You can tell both items were heated, not fresh cooked. All aside, I liked the special tea. Its good especially when you have sore throat.

Food was very underwhelming. Myself and a couple coworkers ordered from here for breakfast and expected quality food based on other reviews. I and another coworker ordered the chicken and waffles which we were excited for but when we received our food we were highly disappointed. The waffles were regular frozen eggo type waffles not even toasted properly and they were soggy. The chicken wings were small and tasteless and the scrambled eggs were bland. My other coworker ordered fried whiting with grits and scrambled eggs. Her fish was also soggy, scrambled eggs were again bland and cheese were added to her grits when she did not request that. She was so disappointed that she did not finish the meal and proceeded to go buy a new breakfast from elsewhere. We all agreed we would not order from here again.

Cozy little place. They have decorated it nicely and everything is halal! The owner and sister behind the counter are so nice and helpful! Get my coffee here and they have a terrific tea selection! Ive tried many things off their menu, and I still cant decide which one was best! They close early which is the only downside. They are surrounded by many other shops, so I like to shop and stop by for a quick bite. Would deffinetly reccomend!
