I took my car in for oil change at 10 am they kept my car the entire day until 4:30 pm, due to staff shortage. I appreciate the forewarning about keeping my car all day but I believe since I had an appointment my completion time shouldnt have went past 3 hours, it should never take all day for an oil change. Uphold your appointment times that would be most helpful.

Kristine was an awesome, understanding, efficient, point of contact that not only secured us a rental car when resources were limited, but had our car repaired so we could make it back home to Oregon for work on Monday. Wow, this dealership experience was different. I came with my cousin to buy a car and met Clint, he took the time to explain and show us options. We were able to locate a vehicle and she purchase a Terrain which she loves. I came in with the intent of making sure she did not get ripped off but was VERY happy with the professionalism and complete disclosure of everything. Nice & Knowledgeable sales staff, King helped me with my GMC Sierra truck, the process was smooth as silk, no haggling, he have all the paperwork ready for me to sign when I got to the door. It took three hours for an oil change. I booked the appointment to replace the bulbs in my headlights as well and you only had 1 in stock. I was told if I wanted both replaced it would take 4-5 hours total. What is the point of an appointment if you are not prepared with basic parts? Why didn’t you order the part for pick up at least when I got there?

Back in July of 2020 I as given a great deal on my truck. Each time I come in for a service the team has been great at getting me in and out. The customer service has been top notch and I could not be happier with the level of service.My only request would be to have a private room for people who need to work while getting their cars serviced. I drive from Lodi, CA so unfortunately I have to wait for my vehicle to be serviced and a quiet place to work would be greatly beneficial.

He even introduced me to Julian who was very informative as well. The truck I am interested in was not in a contractible status. I am sharing my experience with Elk Grove Buick GMC Service department only in the context of my other experiences with other dealerships. With that being said I had a very poor experience with this dealership. Initially I dropped my vehicle off on Saturday October 9th after making an appointment online with a laundry list of issues with my vehicle (08 Sierra 2500 which I adore), a new drop in MPG, new check engine light, poor air conditioning performance, and when the engine is hot, it reads low oil pressure. I verbally relay this to the service department as well, and they tell me that itll be a few days before they can even look at it because they have been so busy. Okay no problem, I get it.I receive a call. October 13th saying they have found one of the issues - an EGR valve has gone bad and stuck open going to cost 1300$ and a couple days to install. Okay no problem - I took it to a dealership for their experience and knowledge with particular models I understand its going to be more expensive. However they did not investigate any of the other issues I had asked about. I relay this to the person I am in contact with and they stated they will investigate into the issue. I call inquiring about my vehicle on the 20th and about what has been found and it looks like there is a leak in the oil pan which is the probable cause for low oil pressure and itll be 600$ for a new one with labor and to top it off itll be 6-7 days for the part to arrive. Im fairly frustrated at this point because if this issue had been looked into day one, I would have my vehicle back at this point.I initiate a call 11/2 to see whats going on as I havent had a call from them - They state that the shipping company had lost the package and with any luck it would be in today and I would be able to pick up my vehicle on 11/3 by the end of the day. I receive a call on 11/3 saying that my vehicle is not ready for pick up as they still need to install the EGR valve.Now I do not mind being the victim of poor circumstance and poor luck - that is common in life and beyond anyones control. That is not the purpose of the review. I would like to emphasize with this review poor communication and lack of attention to detail which has not been my experience with dealerships in the past. I still am very curious about why my air conditioner is failing to blow cold air when very hot outside (I would even accept the answer that the pickup is old and just cant keep up). But at this point I would rather just have my vehicle back.I would caution people with using the service department as you need to be very proactive about your interactions with the department and encouraging them to be thorough and complete in their assessment of your vehicle.

They followed through with ensuring that the problem was taken care of in a timely, efficient, and courteous manner. Thank you!I would not recommend anyone purchase from this dealership!The sales manager Junior attempted to charge more than the True Car price. He was inattentive, was grumpy & apathetic. The next day he did not return my calls after several (4) attempts to reach him. A call back from him was never received. He was dishonest, SHADY & did not follow through with our agreements.I made an appointment with the service department, however that was not upheld. After 2 hours of me waiting, they came back & told me that they couldn’t service my truck. After expressing my frustration that they wasted my day, they attempted to service my truck, however they did not do any work, wasting another hour of my afternoon. They completely wasted my day, which I took a day off of work for.True Car only gives you 3 days to return the vehicle & receive your money back. It seems they purposefully waited to contact me until that time period was over, ensuring that I was not able to get my money back.I would NEVER purchase from this dealership again & I highly suggest no one else give this horrible place business. I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau to report them.

1. Friendly and easy going staffs. Also attentive to what the customers need as well as concerns.2. Clean and refreshing but can do an update where the customers waiting area is. Maybe a coffee table near the chairs for customers to put stuff and tv area a little upgrade.3. Bathroom (ladies) smells like roses.4. Coffee is brewed and I prefer the automatic dispenser due to sanitary purpose.Overall I always have a pleasant visit to bring the vehicle for any type of work that is needed for the truck.

My husband and I went looking like I said looking for a new truck. Initially, we stopped at the Chevrolet Dealership Elk Grove located across the way from GMC Buick; an auto dealer approached us and probably thought that we were not serious about buying as we looked a little more on the casual side. He recommended us if we could; we should wait two years to purchase because the dealership market up was so high due to a lack of a computer chip that is manufactured for trucks have been backed order thus the reason for the low inventory of trucks everywhere; we shrugged it off and we asked what about GMC? He said, well its likely the same there and the trucks are more expensive than the Chevrolet trucks so likely wed run into the same dilemma. Wed figure what the heck, we are here already why not check it out; We drove across the street and got out to check out the inventory; within 5 minutes we were approached by Clint; already feeling irritated due to past experiences at other dealerships representatives, I dared not to notice him right away. However, he made a comment about the t-shirt I was wearing; Sac Republic; I looked down and said yeah we are fans; we are actually a soccer family and I appreciated that he was just being friendly. He shared that he was a soccer player and also refereed; that he in fact came to the USA on a scholarship. It was quite impressive; But actually what he didnt know is that we were just doing some retail therapy shopping, we had just lost our oldest son in April and our perspective of life had changed as we were reminded that we only live once. Clint was very nice and professional; very down to earth; we didnt really have to haggle on the price and the negotiations went well; Normally I tend to ask a lot of questions and honestly, I wished I had done so, but at the end of the day we are very happy with the purchase. The process could have been more stressful but it wasnt so Im thankful for that. We feel we got a fair deal and honestly, we couldnt be happier with our big purchase. Thank you for not judging a book by its cover; we went from Acura to GMC without any hesitation. Thank you!

My husband and I came in looking for an Acadia, our salesman Julian was super friendly and laid back. He didn’t try to pressure us into buying it right away. He was attentive and gave us a ton of information on the vehicle and offered to give us some numbers to take with us because we wanted to go check out a Chevrolet Traverse before making a final decision. In the slight bit more than one year that I have used your service for my 2020 GMC truck, I have been quite pleased with the service and communication while being highly disappointed with the problematic GMC product.On 7/22, I witnessed the most disheveled and chaotic serviced department one can imagine. After waiting for almost 15 minutes in an unmanned service desk area, a harried employee came in then departed with numerous folks waiting and autos lined up in the reception line from the door to the street. A gentleman then entered the service desk and began processing customers (apparently the service manager) as the aforementioned employee then reentered the area. It became obvious that the employee was in training. While I had a reservation to address ongoing electrical problems and had requested arrangements to be made for a truck as a rental upon setting the appointment via phone the previous week (Mark always took great care to procure a truck in previous service appointments but it seems he and is no longer there nor any of the service reps that I had previously had interactions).The service manager eventually took care of the rental (sort of) as he was surprised there was no record of the rental request nor the request of a truck. This process took in excess of one hour! I then arrived at the rental location and they were unaware of a truck request and needed to call for approval. After the passing of another hour, I was able to leave the rental office. Translation, the snap shot of this Monday morning appointment was troubling to say the least. Two days later, I picked up my truck and had a similar experience with lack of staffing, traffic jams at the service entrance blocking access to the dealership all the way to the street as outlined earlier. So my car overheated and putting new coolant and a new oil filter didn’t help. I took it to jiffy lube who believe it or not refused to help me. As soon as I was able to get it towed to the wall grove Buick dealership I never had to worry. Christine was the one who took my car and ensured that everything got fixed that needed to. She didn’t try to push me and pressure me to buy services that weren’t crucial. She called with updates, offered discounted services in order to better help fix the problem without breaking my bank account. And when my car failed again before driving it more than 10 miles off the lot, I called Christine and she offered to get it towed back to the lot on their dime and fix whatever was wrong based on the warranty they provided and the principle of helping to fix the whole problem and making sure it stayed fixed. 10/10 would recommend. You always pay more at a dealership but they actually treat you like a human being and it’s worth spending a little bit extra to have the service guaranteed and done right.

DONT TRUST WEBSITE PRICING. The salesman, Victor, was friendly and pleasant to communicate with. That said, I just want to warn others not trust the pricing on their website. They advertise deals, and even lead you to believe you can buy them online (called Shop Click Drive) and give detailed out-the-door pricing, but it cant be trusted. They tried to turn around and add $11k onto MSRP (not shown on website) because of the market right now. At least other dealers show when they do a markup up front -- this dealership leads you to believe you wont have it to get you in the door, and then try to push it on you. Shady place. I see other reviews stating the same thing. Dont waste your time and dont trust the website.

I have been going to this dealership for past 6 years. The service on my car and customer service has progressively gotten worse. At one point I had to reach out to a GMC customer care agent for my reoccurring issue to get resolved. My last several visits have been met with continual upselling to the point that one of the last advisors told me if I didn’t get a specific service done on my car, my warranty would be voided. I called GMC and found this to be far from the truth and I and almost 50k miles before my car would likely need transmission work. Additionally, previously I would need to return 2-3 times because parts weren’t in or they didn’t take proper notes to resolve issues. I would often leave my car there for several days while I traveled for business, only to return to be told that my car wasn’t done or they could not duplicate the issues. Therefore, I had to bring it back multiple times. It’s seemed as if they let my car sit until the last day before looking into the problems.My recent visit, was a game changer for me. I had told myself I was giving Elk Grove GMC one more chance before I would be searching for another dealership and likely driving to Placerville where I bought the car.Jay has been the best advisor over any I’ve had over the last 6 years. He was attentive, thorough and did not try to upsell me on things I didn’t need. In fact he even advised I may not need new rotors, but could just get them turned. I opted to still request new ones, which turned out to be a good decision as I ended up needed them. I also got other services done on my car and Jay ensured they were completed timely and the quality was beyond satisfaction. Jay continued to keep me informed of the status of my car and everything was completed as promised. It is worth noting that I never told Jay of my prior experiences until I picked up my car. Therefore, I received excellent service regardless. I will continue to bring my car to Elk Grove GMC as long as Jay is there. Otherwise, I might refer to my original plan. Take care of Jay so he doesn’t leave!

By far the most pleasant auto buying dealership experience. My wife and I called in a few weeks ago to ask about a used vehicle they had listed. When we arrived the car was washed, cleaned, and ready for us to test drive. The price was already marked down for a special and they still worked with us to find a price we could afford. Terrible communication!! I bought a brand new 2021 Sierra 1500. The leaf springs in the rear end creek and pop. Both times I’ve taken it in I was told I was “good to go” BS !!My truck sounds worse than ever and I can’t EVER get a hold of anyone or get a call back regarding my BRAND NEW TRUCK that sounds like a bucket.Both times I was told it was test driven after the repair which was a lie. I drive out of the driveway a the issue was immediately noticeable. Not to mentioned how many times I had to call sales in order to reach service for an update. DONT BUY HERE AND DONT SERVICE HERE. I have had nothing but problems with this dealership since we bought our car. We always get the run around, work not done properly, lied to, and the list can go on. I have tried to talk to her head guy I forget his name now but never do I get a response. I have contacted the BBB and am waiting for a response, I would never recommend this dealership to anyone. Great Salesman Bradley. The finance department may have had a little confusion over the online ads, but we got it figured out. We were able to negotiate a spray on bed liner as part of the deal. The only unfortunate part is that it did not seem there was much urgency to schedule the bed liner install. We purchased the GMC Sierra on 12/15/20, but were never called to schedule the install. I ended up calling service on 12/23. They did not have my name in the system. I asked to schedule the bed liner. They said they needed the due bill from finance. I asked that they walk down the hall to get the due bill. Thankfully, later that morning they were able to schedule the install for 12/31. I look forward to having the spray on bed liner installed and really love the truck. Don’t buy used vehicles from these guys unless you know what you’re looking for. We bought a used car from them and they claimed to have done a safety inspection but the whole front wheel baring and U joint were damaged. Thankfully I had them put into our contract that they would fix the issue before we purchased the vehicle. Drove it home after the “fix” and the u joint was never touched and had to be in the shop for another couple days. The service department will not answer their phones and will not communicate with you whatsoever. Do yourself a favor and go to another dealership.

We purchased a 2020 Envision last November. I had not been in for an oil change until lately. I was shocked at the increased price for an oil change, PLUWe purchased a 2020 Envision last November. I had not been in for service until lately. I had an oil change and was shocked at the cost! ALSO, they no longer wash vehicles AND they charge for tire rotation. In the past that was all provided. I expressed my shock to Lex Azpeitia who was waiting on me and she explained the reasons behind these changes. While I am still not happy she tried to encourage me to continue coming back. She was able to reduce my charges for that visit. Now, thats CUSTOMER SERVICE!!
