This Costco location is not as busy as the other one that I have been to. The store is so well stocked with merchandise and frozen foods. There is quite a bit of stuff that they carry, but the other store on E. Stockton Boulevard doesnt. I would definitely shop again.

Buying in bulk can save.But, Ive noticed a lack of brand selection compared to stores that sell in smaller sizes. Some items like electronics offer no savings, and in done cases are actually higher than their competition.If you skip like me you find savings and buy those items. Items you dont want in bulk or that are cheaper elsewhere dont buy. This way you make the best savings, for example Safeway has deals on Fridays.

Fairly new, clean facility. Gas pumps with diesel. Only shortage we noticed was (probably) Covid-caused paper towels and toilet paper. Otherwise, totally good experience.

Love me some Costco. The store is always clean, well stocked and the majority of employees are friendly. It’s always a good time dropping coin in there.

I love Costco. Best fish and meat in town. Great salads too. Look out for fabulous seasonal items in Autumn. I have found cashmere lined leather gloves along with gift items, housewares, garden supplies, you-name-it. Quality us usually very good so I dont bother shopping around if I see it at Costco.

In the Sacramento area, this is the cleanest and most organized of the giant warehouse stores. Par for the course are long lines and crowds but this location seems well-managed and theyre minimal. Stock is rotated fairly often. Knowing your prices helps you get good deals here!

The Costco at this address is always easy to get into, not too crowded, and has quick check out, especially since they added self-check out.

I just left the Elk Grove Costco this afternoon with my girls and didn’t have a very good experience at the checkout. I’ve had a Costco membership for over 20 years and have never had anyone ever question if the card is actually mine. Like anyone, you show your card, they scan your card and then start scanning your items. This time, the cashier (an older female), looked at my card, scanned it and then had the nerve to ask me if it was my card. Really??? I was only there to buy some eggs, some bacon bits and coffee. I kindly replied that it was me in the photo and that it was my card. She then began to scan my items and didn’t even apologize! Love the store but not a fan of this particular cashier.

This Costco location is one of the best in all of Sacramento. Less crowded than every other location in the Sacramento area. They always have great items in stock, friendly staff, and again, great experience with less crowds.

Lots of good reasons to like this specific Costco. Tons of good parking and multiple entrance exits for the park area. Good clean store and nice employees. Lots of selection and food selection. Good food court as well.

Gasoline was better price than other gas stations. Purchased our monthly run goods. Got want we needed including bathroom tissues. Been a member for many years.

My boyfriend tried to return an item today but we were missing the remote to the air filter because we recently moved to Elk Grove and so we lost the remote. To use the air filter though you dont need the remote. We never used the remote to use it.We also had a difficult time finding the item because prior because he had to make a new account to replace his sister for his dad to his costco card. So turns out the item was in my boyfriends old member ship. That took a long time. But the lady helping us was so kind and tried everything she could to help us. She even tried to get her managers approval. But when the manager came it went downhill. She asked us where was the remote and I told her we must have lost it when we were moving from San Jose. Then she said the appliance was gross and told her employee not to touch it, hence its an air filter. She then looked at the purchases we made through Costco and said we didnt buy enough so we werent worthy to return the item. I explained to her most of our purchases were through my sister, but she said we couldnt do that in a rude tone. I didnt realize it wasnt allowed to buy groceries for your own household. Keep in mind we never asked for the manager and we were okay not being able to return it.We decided to cancel our membership because we ultimately felt like she could have handled the situation better. Her employees had amazing customer service though, but it was shocking that their managers customer service was horrible. We both didnt think paying the Costco membership was worth it being treated that way.

They have a lot on sale right now. The cashier is a little rude. He cant scan one ò my item so he needs someone to look for the code. He lets me standing there without apology.

We picked up gasoline first, then we went in; this is a big Costco & they have a lot of merchandise not available at the smaller Costcos that are closer to our house.

I enjoy Costco, not just this location but all. I call it the $200 Store.We go in for a loaf of bread and leave with a basket full of goodies lol.Puck up what you like, you might not find it on your next visit. Great prices if you need it in bulk. Costco is amazing, but I feel like everyone already knows that. You definitely dont go for the service on the floor because its almost nonexistent. Everyone is here for the great deals on everyday staples but also the seasonal or one time items. Prices are the best and the help at customer service is great. Even the food court is awesome. If I have to go shopping, I do it at Costco.

By far THE BEST Costco I’ve ever been too. The gas station has 3 pumps per lane which is great since everyone always go there. Since it’s new everything is nice, clean, and high tech. The food court has tablets to preorder your own food which is the smartest thing Costco could have added.Parking is also great since it’s huge.My only concern is what they will be adding around Costco. Hopefully not more stores to cause congestion.

Everything meets my expectation, except one thing on the returns. All electronic have 90 days return, thats pretty clear, but every other merchandise youll get different info from different employee at the store, and different from the store and online. Example: online employees says there is no timeline for returns, but the store employee say even there is no timeline for the return but it been too long cant return it, but different employee would say oh no problem as long I can find the item in the system you can returnit. So this could become an argrumentive issue. Hope Costco clear this up.

Joe at the customer service desk was super helpful and nice. Even even my husband was snarky Joe kept his cool and helped us figure out how to accomplish our goal. Then when I lost my gift card Joe was there. He was kind and really went above and beyond to ensure that we had a great experience. I dont usually shop at Costco but if this is the type experience I can expect to have perhaps I will start shopping here more often. Thank you Joe.

First time in this new one and it was pretty great. What you’d expect from a Costco is all here and it was a nice time and really easy. One of my favorite stores around. Only thing that wasn’t fun was dodging their gas lines. Since they are a couple cents cheaper then other places around, it’s a mess at n that area. We counted I line of 25+ cars in each lane and it wrapped around and almost black coed an exit. Amazing what people will do to save what amounts to $5 lol. Anyways though, the store is great and I am sure that gas line moves quick.

I once used to enjoy Costco. Unfortunately not anymore. Mask Nazis and staff just arent that friendly as they once were. I wont be renewing my membership this year. Sad because I was a FREQUENT SHOPPER! Maybe it’s just the horrible governor that “makes” them . I wish I could go back in time when everyone was pleasant and not lefty policemen. Just know I really once loved Costco. I do miss my favorite employees. I don’t think it’s fair to leave a 1 star so I updated it to a 3 star, only problem was the mask nazis.

Costco is pretty standard but I like this one. Despite its location & the number of people shopping, it never feels too crowded.

This has to be best Costco around. I live near the Richmond, CA location and this location blows them out of the water. They always have the best options and items that I never see in our neighborhood store. If I lived near by I would come all the time.

This is the second time Ive been to this Costco, pretty quick receiving crew there. Its one of the Costcos in the valley that I dont mind going to. And I think its one of the newest ones also its nice and clean.

This Costco is always clean and full of friendly and helpful employees from start to finish. They manage the lines well and the employees seem to enjoy working there. They follow guidelines to keep you safe during the pandemic. I highly recommend this Costco.

One of my absolute favorite stores...Costco. They always have the best seasonal items, fresh fruit, meats, and specialty items. The whole house (of five guys), our whole house; fridge, freezer and pantry is nothing buy Costco.

The only thing i dont like about Costco is that they dont have curb side pickup. Other than that, they have everything.

Waiting for a long time Costco to open up. Finally open. Its a great store. Ive been shopping at Costco for years and this is especially a feather in Elk Groves cap. Bringing in a lot of jobs and a lot of Revenue. Went there on the opening day it was very busy but everything was organized. I look forward to shopping here for a very long time. Love the pizza and hoping that they do not change the Polish dog.

I love and live Costco. I have grown up with it from when it was called Price Club. The abundance in their warehouse always brings joy to me. Their customer service and return policy is unbeatable. There should be an Ode to Costco for I can not imagine a world without Costco.

Being at Costco can sometime be overrated and this one can just sometimes be filled with mindless adults, overly packed, seems like the whole city of elk grove is here at once, people walk slow seem to not know what they want but look at the pretty lights and walls, but yet at least they can say i was at Costco today and i have a card smh. Pick your time to go. Preferably weekdays when work and school is going and mid day not beginning or evening

Not really impressed with Costco customer service. We pay to become members and so many employees do not treat customers with respect. I have noticed multiple of times how some cashiers do not even greet or even acknowledge the customers. We just become numbers to them. No different than Amazon or Walmart,.

Ive been shopping at Costco for years. I had one in Gilroy Ca and several in San Jose. But after moving to Elk Grove it is ideally so close and has everything that I could possibly want. Having gas is also a good thing. It may be crowded at sometimes but I believe it is there price that attracts so many. Love Costco!

Parking spots are nice and wide. I visit several Costcos and for some reason this one you can always find a spot by the front and shopping is quicker than the other locations.

This is a great Costco. The parking lot, gas station and overall location are fantastic.The staff here, like most Costcos, are incredibly friendly and helpful. Not much else to say, its a Costco - if you like to buy in bulk, its probably here.

Good but overly busy

Love everything about the Elk Grove Costco. The people are helpful & fast. Its not as busy as the one in South Sacramento. I love that in most cases I find all the stuff I need. I can even go there if I only have 2-3 items to buy coz its so conveniently located.

I don’t usually write reviews but I couldn’t help myself. I shop 90% of my stuff from Costco. Whenever I am in need of someone to load my groceries in my car, there’s an employee named Varun who is always eager to help me no matter how busy he is with work.

Never too crowded, unless youre going to the gas station. Every Costco has station is crowded! I walked right up to member services because I forgot my card and was first in line. Returns are a little crowded depending on time of day but Ive seen much worse. Love this Costco compared to crowds at Expo and Mack.

Still no Lysol spay or wipes so freaking out about that. But stock up on food and try not to eat it all like Ive been doing. Going back to Costco this weekend.

Its Costco so not sure who needs to read this but if youve never been than its a bulk goods store where you can purchase alot of excellent products at a discount because of the size of packaging. Though it sucks that you need a paid membership it pays for itself if you shop here often enough because you basically get a kickback with the mor purchases you make. Service is generally very good, staff is generally polite and helpful. Parking can be challenging but that just shows how popular this place is. Choose the times you visit wisely as this will determine how much traffic youll deal with inside and out of the store. Returns here are generous because they really want you to love the products that they carry and generally thats true. Very rarely have I returned something because I dont like it. Each store is unique to the neighborhood so dont expect that theyll all carry the exact same products from store to store. There are unique finds in each store. Happy shopping.
