Thoroughly enjoyed myself here this weekend. Service was excellent and the wine was fantastic. I enjoyed the sangria, its a little different than typical sangria- I cant put my finger on what it is but its still really good regardless. We also had the strawberry and raspberry sparkling wines which were super tasty! Not to sweet but flavorful. We had the meat and cheese tray- nothing fancy about it- you have to assemble yourself and the cheese is whole.

Bottomless mimosas and we didnt have a reservation. They were super accommodating and gave us a table for 2 hours. Be sure to call ahead for reservations. The grounds are beautiful and the staff is fabulous. This was our first time visiting and we for sure will return again soon (with reservations 🤪).

Beautiful grounds, we really enjoyed spending the evening at their summer concert, the staff is very friendly and their Sangria wine was perfect over ice for the weather. We will definitely be going back.

I attended a wedding at this winery and they have a very nice setup. It was comfortable as a guest and a very intimate atmosphere. Beautifully done.

Had a great couple of hours taste some very good wines. The staff is very friendly and take the time to talk with their guests.

We absolutely love 💕 this place. The wine🍷is amazing, people are wonderful and the estate🏡 is beautiful with lots of historical fact you can learn about on the estate tour.

Nice place very close to Sacramento. The wines are delicious we love the 6Gen Zin. Its a late harvest so slightly sweet and bold. The place is nice and the have plenty of events going on. Theres live music every Friday and many other events. The wine club offers reasonable prices and good wine pick up party.

I recently had my wedding at McConnell Estates Winery and thought I should share my very stressful experience for any future brides who are considering having their wedding here.Ill start with the pros:It was a beautiful venue. I love the rustic style and everything about the way it looked. I would still choose this site but knowing all the cons about it and the stress it caused I wouldve planned the wedding differently.Here are the cons:-The rehearsal is my biggest complaint. It was included in the wedding package. I booked the rehearsal dinner a year ago for the friday night before the wedding. A month before the date, I emailed Katelyn to confirm and she said that another party was booked for that night. I asked her what my options were and she replied that I could have the rehearsal Friday afternoon or thursday afternoon or have the rehearsal somewhere else. I needed to rehearse at the site in order to get the timing down and half of my wedding party was flying in from Oregon Friday afternoon so they would not make it in time so I asked her if there was anything she could do anything for us. I suggested that she allow us access to the venue early on the day of the wedding so we could run through the ceremony but she said no. She couldnt give us a discount either or offer anything else. Finally I emailed her a screenshot of the email she sent me a year ago confirming that I had the site reserved for that date and time. She responded that we can still have the rehearsal in the area meant for the ceremony but it works have to be done in the afternoon before the other party arrives. Then we could move to a different, less private area to have the dinner portion of the night. I had no choice but to run the rehearsal in the afternoon without some of my wedding party.-The wedding package was supposed to include a coordinator in the day of the wedding but when we arrived to set up Katelyn was not there and I only saw her a couple times the whole day (mostly to check in about the alcohol). She also did not ask for a schedule or any notes for the event so that she could help coordinate-I wasnt told that the venue would provide an arch so I made one. When we arrived they had an big heavy arch which then had to be moved. This was a problem because there was so much to do and Katelyn would not allow us to come any earlier even after the rehearsal mess-up and this extra heavy arch that had to be moved was just added stress.-The tables were not all set up and the buffet table was not ready so we had to finish that too. Katelyn had told me that all the tables and linens would be in place way before noon and this ate into the very little time we had to set up. I made a lot of decorations by hand and worked so hard on the set up but only had one hour to put it up before I had to start getting myself ready.These last few points are small and more FYI:-Leading up to the wedding I had a few appointments Katelyn was late to meet me almost every time.-I planned the wedding from Oregon and emailed Katelyn with questions. Most of the time, she took a week or more to respond. It made me nervous about having reliability for the wedding.-Theres also no refrigerator which was difficult for the cake but this might be common with venues.A lot of my wedding did not go the way I wanted even though I spent so much time trying to plan and be prepared for everything. I did not expect everything to be perfect but I didnt expect so much stress from one place. I spent almost 10,000 on the venue and I was very disappointed. It was a beautiful site but disappointing service.

Its a nice winery! Very tastefully put together and great wine. I personally didnt care for the ladies that worked there. Im a mentor for a mentally disabled woman and we went to this winery to check it out. The two ladies there were basically making fun of my client who has a disability. My client wanted to take ouctures of everything and wanted to take a picture of a wine bottle with wine in a glass and one of the employees there looked at the other girl and made a face obviously being judgemental. I told them at the end that she is disabled and they didnt really care .I just really dispice when people make fun of mentally disabled people as if its their fault they are like that. Never ever going back to this place and never buying their wine. Have fun being ignorant!

You get what you pay for.We had an event here that was supposed to have a staffed bar of which we prepaid for wine. The bartender left after a couple hours and we were short 3 bottles of wine. When we had to find managment to ask them to refill the water and about the missing wine the manager was found sitting down hanging out with friends. She got really defensive and was incredibly rude. I wpuld not recommend this place for any events...as tempting as the price may be.

The wines are delicious and staff are very welcoming and knowledgeable about their wine selection.
