I visited the store, but bought the refrigerator we selected online from Best Buy. The whole process was very smooth on the website. The information needed was easy to find (like measurements) and it was easy to make the purchase and schedule delivery.The delivery included moving my old fridge to the basement. I was very impressed with the delivery crew. They just did an excellent job of taking care of every aspect and we were grateful.

Let me say first off I LOVE Best Buy so Im only writing this review to help the company stop a trend that Im noticing at this particular store. Ive been a Best Buy Rewards member for years and have visited stores in several different states and its always been a pleasant experience no matter the transaction or even if Im just there to browse. Im not sure what happened to this store or if its just the individual that helped me with my return but I was thrown off by the attitude I got over such a simple transaction. As a rewards member every purchase I make has a digital receipt only since I decline the paper receipt. Normally I inform the person helping me so they can just look it up and we go from there. Im so used to not having a paper receipt I just let the person helping me know Id like to make a return and before I continued she said Do you have a receipt? I said no but before I could continue the attitude started. yall still need a receipt even though you buy stuff online she said with an exasperated tone. I informed her that I used my Best Buy card and declined the paper receipt. Whats your phone number? she said with an even more frustrated attitude. We followed through with the transaction and after it was complete I was simply waiting for confirmation and after a small pause she simply stated aiight you good as if I was a bother to be in her space. Sad if thats the kind of customer service this Best Buy offers.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR IPHONE TO GEEK SQUAD for things even like battery replacement!!I took my iPhone 8 to get battery replacement. They changed the battery but broke whatever part with the vibration function. First, they told me I had to go back because they had to order the part. After I told them I live 30 mins away and took the day off from work, the tech found the part from a loaner’s phone. Well, that was fine. Another hour later, he said he fixed it. When I tried it, the vibration was making clicking noise. So I asked the tech if it was normal. He said “well, it passed the post-diagnostic test”. I told him that it didn’t sound right because I didn’t remember any noise like that. Then he tried to tell me it was because of the new updates. I said I didn’t update lately. He said I wouldn’t know because Apple would just do it without notifications. So I took it to the Apple center that was 15 mins away as soon I got out of the Best Buy. The person at the Apple Center said something was definitely wrong. She also said post-diagnostic test only tested if it vibrated. However, they still wouldn’t give back the phone like that when something was obviously wrong with that noises. Unfortunately I would have to pay Apple to repair it. The real issue for the Geek Squad is not that they damaged my phone but they didn’t own up to their mistakes and tried to make excuses for their lousy work. It’s not only unprofessional but also untrustworthy and unreliable. I am going to pay Apple to fix it and will try to get refund from Best Buy. The manager is supposed to call me back within 48 hours. I will update later.Update 10/27/2021: Apple Center looked at it and said Best Buy had damaged my phone beyond their comfort to repair. Apple didnt charge me anything and suggested me to go back to Best Buy for a new phone. I went back to Best Buy and they agreed to give me one. The rating stays at 1 star because1. I shouldnt need to go to Apple Center to get the proof in order to get what I shouldve gotten.2, Best Buy offered no compensation for the time and trouble that I had to go through (additional trips and time-off etc).3. Geek Squad manager offered no apology. He came out for 30 sec to approve the replacement and left. No acknowledgement, no apology. The guy who was taking care replacing my phone was very nice and understanding. However, a simple apology from the manager wouldve been nice. I still need to go back there to pick up my new phone when its arrived. However, I would never go there for any Apple product repairs.

I recently went to this Best Buy to purchase something . Saw an employee in the isle so I showed him the item and that it says they have it in stock and is there anyway he could assist me, He then radios for a sales associate to come over but nobody responded . He said to give him a couple of minutes he’ll be right back, I stood there waiting for almost 20 minutes also other employees walked right by me while I was waiting not one of them stop to say have you been helped . Eventually he comes back looks at me and walks directly outside . I will never purchase something from this store the absolute worst customer service I have experienced

I bought $1300 worth of parts for a computer build and [Mr. Red Beard] was SO helpful navigating the available parts in this crazy difficult era of chips shortages. Skip other Best Buys: if this one doesnt sell it, none nearby will. If you dont see what you want on the shelf, ASK! The expensive stuff is in the back.

Horrible curbside pickup experience today. Checked in, as instructed, but still waited for over 20 minutes just to see an associate assist a curbside customer who had arrived 15 minutes after me. I was able to catch the associate and she helped me right away. Also, before that, while waiting, I saw a different associate walking in. All I said was, “excuse me, sir,” and he cut me off, yelling, “I’m not on the clock!” I would have just gone inside to check on my order, but I had my infant in the back seat sleeping. This location could do a lot better.

I dropped my lap top computer off. The assistant was friendly and extra patient. He listened and spoke slower n louder for a hard of hearing person like me. 🥰 He gave me pamphlets to take with me to read about the services and I asked a few questions. As a drop in with no appointment I got right in, which was lucky for me. I chose the Geek squad annual plan for my devices, I have quite a few and two on the fritz. I did like that they had hand/ cart cleaning station at the door. I also liked that there was a helper at the door to guide you if u needed assistance. The areas looked organized, bright and clean. Got my computer fixed in 5 days. Pick up was a snap. I was given a folder of info about my computer repairs with suggestions of ways to make it perform better.

Employee told me they had a chance to purchase the night before but manager came back and said it was a mistake in the system and they never had any stock not knowing that the another employee already told me that it was available. Was sent a gift shipped from online purchase. Was sent the complete wrong item. To add to the frustration I was sent to three different lines before someone was finally able to help. The only reason for the second star is because after 2 attempts to bring the correct item that was bought to begin with they actually had the item in stock.

I took my drone in because it wasnt pairing with my phone. I made an appointment with the Geek Squad and they saw me right away as soon as I arrived. I had tried for two days prior to this to get the drone running and talked with the maufacturer of the drone on the phone twice with no resolution. Sarah and Aiden had it working in less than 30 minutes. Great service and nice people to deal with.

These guys arent what they used to be. I should know. I worked here for years back in the day. Went to buy a washer dryer set. The salesman was in a rush. Didnt really go over all the deals. I found a coupon online and the salesman told me it didnt apply to my purchase. Told me trust me. I insisted he try it and of course it worked. Saved me 90 dollars.

Horrible people working at this location. Canceled my PS5 order because I happened to get lucky on being able to get another one and accused me of being a reseller (I only help my friends get one due to bots). They then threatened to report me to the state of MD since I didnt have some kind of license which I dont even need and demanded my ID to document my personal info. I will definitely report this to corporate.

One of the worst customer service. Was looking for something and couldnt find no one offered help. I was wandering around and finally find one. Was in line for 5 to 6 minutes and then another cashier came to expedite line. cashier told me thats the wrong product let me put it back and ask someone for help to find right product. I believe this gentleman was best buy employee too? Then I waited for 30 minutes to get help from someone. Its not worth of time.

Do not purchase appliances from this store. They will lie to you in order to make the sale . Purchased an appliance from them which they did not indicate was backordered when asked. Guess what. It *was* in fact backordered. And yes, they charge you immediately for backordered items. So they lied to get my money. Calling customer service was a waste of time and effort. Based on the store experience, do not buy from them. Based on the customer service experience over the phone, do not buy from *any* Best Buy! I know I wont, ever again!

Came to this best buy in Columbia with my sister. Went to look at printers to purchase, I asked 2 different associates for assistance. 1 associate wS helping someone else and couldnt answer a quick question for me. Another associate said he would help after he went to get keys. He never came back to help me. I looked up and he was helping someone else. The customer service in this store is horrible. I will not patronize this store. I will go to another best buy to make my purchase.

Came to this store today to spend almost $700 on something they had in stock. I find the product with the help of a very good employee. The product is locked up and needs a key. He doesnt have a key but said he will call someone to get a key. Well 20 mins go by and no one ever showed up to unlock the case. Amazon is getting another sale....

The super nice cashier saved this from being a 1 star review but what should have been a 10 minute pick up turned into an hour of back and forth because their cell phone accessories were extremely disorganized. Every time I thought I had the one I wanted the cashier rang it up and the sale I thought I was getting was for a different product. This happened 3 times and then they wouldnt price match the sale I found on another product so I gave up.

Spent over 30 minutes trying to find someone who could assist me in purchasing a high end tv. asked for someone to be sent to the department more than once. i felt entirely invisible as i saw employees in other departments talking amongst themselves. my business ended up going to an online retailer insteadi’ve had multiple attempts to patronize this store where i either couldn’t find someone to help me, or the online advertised inventory was misleading, and when going in was told they don’t ever keep that inventory on hand (large appliances)

Had made an appointment online to have the Geek Squad folks repair/replace the power button on my LG5 (admittedly not bought there). Set up a little account and everything (here comes the spam, here comes the spam, here comes the spam). Upon arriving, the nice fellow (think Doc Brown from Back To The Future) advised that they do NOT, in fact, perform such repairs. Would have been nice to know that in advance. Wasted a trip.

I have been a Best Buy customer for a very long time and I have used points to purchase multiple items. Since the pandemic changed store operations it is hard to shop at Best Buy.I am interested in purchasing a new pair on ear buds. First Item: I asked two employees where the ear buds are located. They did not know and were busy. Second Item: I found the ear buds in the head phone section. Item Three: The Bose display only included the plastic part that fits into your ear. It did not include the electronics module. My main reason to visit Best Buy was to review the size of the ear bud before purchasing. Item Four: I asked the security person at the entrance if there is some one that I could talk to. After about ten minutes I took a break and went to the rest room. After I returned, the security guard requested help, again. After another five minutes an employee arrived. Item Five: I explained that I am interested in purchasing a pair of ear buds. She described the plastic parts on display but could not provided any details on the electronics module. Item Six: l asked to see Bose ear bud package. After communicating with someoneon about a key, and another five minutes she returned. Item Six: The electronics module from the display was not in the locked shelf area and the new package could not be opened.Last Item: I have up!.Best Buy is becoming hard to shop at the store.

My advice: pay the higher end prices. Ended up returning both items as the quality at that price point left much to be desired.

Purchased TV Q80T TV at bestbuy at 7000 Arundel Mills Cir Ste F1, Hanover, MD 21076. They had excellent condition open box tv that I purchased on 9/19/2020. I was kinda hesitant on buy an open box item but the salesman insured me that if there was any issues that I could return the TV at any store to replace. After bring the TV home the TV base stand was defective. The screw hole that mounts to tv had not thread screw to tighten. Very next morning I went to the bestbuy close to my location at 8251 Gateway Overlook Dr, Elkridge, MD 21075. CSR Terrence told me that I was not allow to return product from another store that was bought opened box and advised me to take it their. I requested a manager Mike at that store and advised the same thing and would not accept the tv as a return. He stated that alot of customers buy defective devices their and try to return it at their location implying that the bestbuy at Arundel Mills location sell defective product and talked badly about them and their store. I requested them to contact the store at Arundel Mills to get the return policy right straitened because I told them they insured me that I could return any product at any store they refuse to contact the store where I purchased it so at that point I took it to the original location I purchased it in the process pulling my back lugging the TV around back to my car with no assistants from them. The original store accepted my return and spoke to manager their named Michael stating that they wrong for doing that to me and he contacted the Gateway Overlook Dr store to straitened them out regarding the return policy. Michael was a great man and provided all the service he could provide and insure that the store where I attempted to return has been squared away and apologized in their behalf. I went back to the Gateway Overlook Dr location to confirm whether they have corrected of their mistake and request to see the same manger mike. Manager Mike came with a different tone pleading hey man I told you could return it here and i was just advising you to return it at the original location thats all. My question is why would I want to carry the TV back to my car when I could have gotten the same return service their. I was just wanting a apology from him for misinforming me of the return policy but he took it to another level by lying saying that he was going to accept the return per the store policy. Another manager name craig later said that store returns for open box items within 14days of purchase are case by case bases. I really didnt know what that ment. Summary to it is they made a mistake not taking my return after one day of purchasing and then lying about it never happening to cover their mistake. which is deplorable.

Ezpz shopping experience. Please avoid going to Magnolia in Elkridge, MD.This is my first review and I hope I can save someone who care about customer service experience. I did not have an option for zero star otherwise I would have given that for the customer service experience I had today at the Magnolia center in best buy. The manager John is extremely rude and was demeaning to us, Tyler who is a sales person was not helpful either. Please STAY AWAY from both of them. Please try to avoid buying anything from them, unless you are very sure that you will never need them for returns and exchanges. They will NOT inform you about the return policy on special orders (although I have ALWAYS ALWAYS had representatives inform me during placing any special order that have stringent return policy) and if you miss reading the return policy on your own, which probably you can and would like to return anything you will feel cheated, like we did. I bought home theater system for 15K and wanted to return a cable for $689. The cable did not arrive on time and I was given another date but was delayed further. I purchased from another vendor because I was NOT made aware about the return policy. I regret that I bought things in this store and went through this deceitful and demeaning experience.It is NOT about the money I wasted but how I was made to feel at this store.

My husband and I were able to get a replacement range for our kitchen on less than a week. So Happy!!!Well this is awkward, I had to change my 5 star rating to 2. My husband and I were supposed to get a range delivered in less than a week. On the day of the delivery, the truck arrived with a cord....no range. There was no range on the delivery slip. I spent 3 hours trying to get this figured out only to finally be told, they were out of stock. They knew the range was out of stock on Monday but didnt tell anyone (me or the delivery company). The guy at the Best Buy near our house was nice enough to acknowledge the error and arrange for us to drive to a warehouse over 30 minutes away to pick up our new range and deliver/install ourselves.I paid for installation of a new range, delivery of a new range, and haul away of the broken range but I got a cord delivered to my house for the same price. I am so disappointed in the delivery scheduling side of Best Buy and their customer service center (that is outsourced to another country where they arent able to do anything but apologize.)

My wife dropped her iPhone X and cracked her screen. We had the screen replaced at this location on September 8, 2019. The touchscreen and facial recognition stopped responding on the night of September 27. We took it to the Best Buy in Arundel Mills Mall since the Elkridge Best Buy had no reservations the following day. Arundel Mills Best Buy did all they could to get the phone to start working again before taking it apart. They were very courteous. Once they took it apart, they saw that the screen wire was warped. They said that it was due to the previous repair and said we should take it back to Elkridge. The Geek Squad tech at Elkridge said that the issue was probably due to a faulty replacement screen, that we would not be charged for this issue, and that I needed to resolve an issue with Applecare before proceeding to fix. I worked with Apple it was resolved. We went back to Elkridge and the Geek Squad Manager said that we needed to be charged for this issue. The issue was that the screen was incorrectly placed in by Elkridge. The Manager repeatedly said that his team did nothing wrong, that Arundel Mills Best Buy caused the issue, and to go back to Arundel Mills to fix it. The Geek Squad Manager was very unprofessional, saying that they have to constantly fix Arundel Mills issues. The Manager kept deflecting on Arundel Mills as the source of the issue and would not fix the issue without charging us. Overall, Elkridge Best Buy Geek Squad was incredibly unprofessional to us, the customers, and his own colleagues, Arundel Mills. When Arundel Mills called Elkridge, the Elkridge Geek Squad Manager continually denied any fault and was not fully answering their questions. The pictures are from Arundel Mills showing the warped wire. We never opened the phone and if it did fall again, it would be impossible for that fall to cause the issue. Elkridge = Bad Arundel Mills = Good. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.

They went above and beyond to help me with the broken mic on my computer. They were very courteous and polite. I wish I took a look at their name tags but one was named Calvin and I cant remember the others name. They helped me on October 22st 2020. The whole staff was great.

Deliver to store appears to be delayed inexplicably. Even if they have the product you ordered in stock they make you wait for your order to come in. The staff initially no idea how to convert stock to an over due delivery

The man who helped me, I believe his name is Patrick, was very knowledgeable and realistic. I told him that Im a student and that I basically need the best for a reasonable price. He broke it down to say the least 🙌🏾 and Im happy as well as confident in the laptop and tablet I purchased.

They had fantastic sales here and I know I saved a lot by getting some electronics I would get anyway soon. So got them little early and saved lots of $$$. One of the times on sale was sold out which was little disappointing.

Best by used to be good store for electronics. Not anymore. Their return policy is absolutely doesn’t make sense. 15 % restocking fee, no matter what. I lost about $85. They have a standard answer. I get a better deal either online ( of course, check with buyers if they return it in case product does t work) or in Costco, much better where you can confidently buy products. Simple fact that electronics and camera products need testing before buying, and if the are bad, you are out of luck with Best Buy.

Its not one of the better looking best buys Ive been to but its far from the worst. My experience here was brief being they didnt have the 2 items I was looking for. Well they did have 1 of them (PS5) but they was not selling what was left because they said they was reserved replacements for costumers that have already purchased the console incase theirs was defective.

This place is a travesty. My husband ordered a tablet for Christmas. I initially went to pick it up on the so called ready date and I was told it is not yet ready. I returned days later to the curb side pickup after they sent two confirmatory text messages that my order was ready. First I sat in the queue for half an hour while they served all the people behind me in the line. When I finally got out of my car and asked what was the delay they told me initially there was a mix up with the order and they re looking for it. Minutes later another representative came out to say they had sold it by accident and I should drive to another store to pick it up. I refused, as I had already been inconvenienced and I had fussy kids in my car. They informed me that it would be available in 1 hour from the other store. Needless to say it was not ready. They are now telling me check back at the end of the day if its available. These people are acting as if I am begging for a product instead of something that was paid for. I am requesting a refund and I will NOt be purchasing anything from Best Buy again.

The computer department is an absolute madhouse. Multiple employees standing around chatting while customers are waiting for assistance. Other employees stocking computers got extremely annoyed when we asked very simple questions. Prepare to shop and guide yourself through the purchase process. Try Target, Costco, Amazon first.
