I had two works performed by this Body Works on two different cars.1. Catalytic Converter replavement2. Front bumper repairThis is hands down my worst experience with any workshop. The exhaust work was performed poorly. I am getting loud noise from the exhaust. When I told him, I was told that work is fine, the noise is coming from the engine. When I checked under the car. I noticed the exhaust was connected to the engine without a flange. It was loosely hooked to the engine that was causing the noise. He still refused to do any work (he was paid already)The second work was the replacement of the front bumper. I have never seen a poorly performed work. The color did not match. He left-out a small part of the bumper (one square inch of the block that is an add-n to bumper) without painting, refused to take care of and demanded more money to paint that one square inch of plastic that is attached to the front of the bumper. That is not all, he lost my front registration plate which I noticed after coming home. When I contacted again, he told me if I checked the car. When I told him that it was not in the car, he said, cant do anything, it is my problem.Even that is not all, I opened the car hood, found that the panels he removed, all the pushpins were either broken or missing.Oh....forgot to mention, he quoted one price but for both works demanded more money that he agreed upon when I went for pickup. Both work was way late that originally agreed upon. You go to this shop on your own risk. enough warning is given
I dont know about dings, but do not go here for things. I went in to have a catalytic converter welded on, a cat that I had already bought, and was called by themechanic to be told the welding would be $350 and a small metal flange that holds the muffler onto the frame of the car was rusted and a new one would be an extra $100.I have twice paid for a cat to be welded onto my car, and twice I have not paid more than $100. In fact, I had a welder across the street offer to do it for $80 but I insteaddecided to try Dings n Things out.I told the mechanic, dont do the work, Ill immediately come pick the car up and take it elsewhere. He said the work had already be done... but the car wouldnt be ready foranother 2 hours. Mind you, welding a cat on doesnt take longer than an hour at most including grinding the old one off.So luckily I work directly across the street from the business. And lo and behold, my car was out of the garage and done within an hour... but they didnt CALL until 2 1/2hours later. So they charged 2 hours of labor for 1 hours work, and triple charged the price of anywhere else Id been before. The one silver lining was that once I freaked out because Id never heard of a price like this, the technician or whoever it was, INSTANTLY said everything would be $300instead of $450. But the dark cloud was being lied to about the time it would take to finish, and that the work had already been done.Lets pretend labor was $175 an hour. I would have been fine paying $175 for one hours work on a one hour job. To jump straight to $450. ridiculous.Go to National Budget Muffler down route 40 if you can ever get away for a day. Theyll do great exhaust work for $50 if you have the time to get there. Or try anywhereelse. But beware of Dings n Things
Recently I had work completed on my car and I dealt with Andy Rowan at this establishment. The experience was very professional and Andy made it very easy going. When I picked up my car, I was amazed. My car looked brand new! Andy did a wonderful job. I would recommend his place of business to everyone. Mary Scheufele
12/27/17Sent a friend to have work done here...HUGE MISTAKE! When they painted her car there was over-spray every where, they stated they washed it but by the time she picked it up it was late and dark and couldnt see the over-spray. There were runs in the paint and small bubbles and when she called the shop to fix it, the girl at the front was rude so she decided not to go back. My friend went to my nephew to fix it because she didnt want to go back. Terrible shop, TERRIBLE service and awful customer service!12/28/17Update: since I posted this and received a response from the owner...Id like to add that my friend that I sent there is a 63 year old widow, so Im pretty sure she didnt sleep with an employee of this despicable, unprofessional shop. Shame on you for for falsely accusing her of doing such an awful thing.
I brought my 94 dodge ram 1500 to dings n things and the work they did just blew my mind great friendly staff easy to talk to and bulls.h.it with my truck looks brand new no rust anywhere now thank you so much i would recommend this place to anybody looking for body work
These guys are really good and did a great job at a good price. I highly recommend them for paintless dent repair.
I used Dings N Things several years ago to remove a dent in a difficult spot on my door and was 100% happy with their paintless dent repair service. Now Ive got a new car with a limited edition paint color. 2 weeks ago, I got a nasty dent in my door, so I immediately thought of these guys. Once again, the damage was in a difficult-to-repair location. The owner took a look and said hed give it a try -- but wouldnt charge me if he couldnt get it out. Since I was already there, I asked them to also install a tow hitch (that required taking off the bumper, cutting a hole, and dropping the exhaust among other things).Once again, I was 100% satisfied with their work. I would recommend them to anyone.
I brought my 99 ford f150 in for rust work and paint work and they did great I couldnt have asked for a better job Im gonna be bringing more work in for them if you need work done go there!
State Farm accidentally sent them my body work check based on the free estimate I got months before the work was done by another shop. State Farm and I have been unable to pry a return check out of them for 8 months now, and State Farm has wiped their hands of the matter, telling me I need to go to court for the $800 Im owed. Not the best option in town....
Best place ever!!!!!!! Andy is so nice I love it there
