Cool small local shop with the basics needed for DE wet shaving. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Not as much selection as online but still a great amount of options for your basic daily needs. I will be returning when I need more supplies!

Drove all the way from Arvada down here to find out it was closed. Sign says open til 2pm. What gives??

My Oster Clipmasters broke and needed a replacement part. Not many places in the area will service the heavy duty clippers, but Mike was able to replace the part, and fully tune and sharpen the clippers in a week. Just used them for the first time since being fixed and they held up great - no more alignment issues. Definitely recommend this place for clipper blade sharpening or repair - great customer service and value.

I have my lamp working once again with a better understanding as to how to care for it to so as to avoid having future problems. What a badass store! Mike helped me out and was so genuine and helpful...got me exactly what I needed at a SUPER reasonable price. Besides a quality selection of trimmers which is what I needed, they have lots of fancy antique shavers and awesome shaving accoutrements. Def check this place out!!!

These guys are the best and very knowledgeable. I have gone to The Art of Shaving at several locations and their prices always feel like youre being raked over the coals. Colorado Shaver Center is the first place I went for all my razor needs/questions and this will be the only place I frequent from now on. Thanks again Colorado Shaver Center.

I had ordered a straight razor for xmas for my husband. It came out of the box dull so I brought it here to be honed. They said they couldnt because the handle was bent and I was understanding. I had gotten a replacement from the company and this one came out of the box sharp enough to cut arm hair but needed to be honed. I paid to have this one sharpened and waited 2 weeks for it to be done. I got it home stropped it and my husband tried to shave after a shower and its duller then before sharpening. It wont even cut arm hair now. I paid a total of 60 dollars just on sharpening and cant get a shave. Now I dont know if I need to buy ANOTHER razor or try and pay ANOTHER 40 to have it sharpened somewhere else. Im sad and angry. All I wanted was to give my husband a shave hes wanted for so long.*Update* I was contacted today and a deal was made that made everything better. I finally got a hood shave for my husband and got some valuable tips. This is where we will address all our shave needs from here on!

To start - let me preface with the fact that Id been visiting this place for shaver maintenance for the past 17 years. Even when I moved out of state, I made a habit of returning to CSC on an annual basis due to the quality of service Id been accustomed to receiving here.My most recent visit was sub-par. I brought it a Norelco clipper that has seemingly lost charge and (from what I could tell) needed a new battery. I live outside of Boulder, so its a little bit of a hike to make it here, but based on my past experience with CSC, I had no problems making the drive.The associate I spoke to (Alex Chupko, I believe?) told me that theyd need time to make the diagnosis, and that theyd call me to provide a timeline, but that it should be completed within a week, and that theyd call me if any other work was required.A week goes by, and Ive not gotten any calls from CSC. I decide to call on Friday to see what the status is, and they let me know that theyve not started any work yet, but they expect it to be complete by opening on Saturday or Sunday.I call on Sunday, and Im told that everything is complete and finished, and that I can come pick it up. Again - I live about 40 minutes North of the store, so I start to make the drive based on the news. When Im five minutes from the store, I get a phone call (from Chupko) telling me that the eval or repair work isnt complete, and that the only thing theyve done was put electrical tape around the power cord of the shaver. Theres been no inspection on the battery or motor, and to find replacement parts for these might cost more than the trimmer is even worth. (note: This is false, as I was able to find a replacement blade for the trimmer via Amazon for ~$12. )To be told that the trimmer is complete and fixed was dishonest and disorganized. I wasnt even credited for the $36 cost of the evaluation of the trimmer. There wasnt even an apology from Chupko when I arrived to pick up the trimmer.Ive got no problem paying a premium for quality customer service, but this experience was just lazy. Avoid this place until they get a clue on what customer service should be.
