Used to be a great yard but the new owners and management just dont know how to make it work again since they are not in it for the yard. Just the land. I dare say this yard wont be around for much longer at the rate it is going.

Selection of vehicles is ok, they seem to be downsizing. Luckily I found the part I needed and for a reasonable price. Convenient for the area since there is only one other.

This use to be my favorite junk yard when I was in high school. Unfortunately they are now the worst. Free admission and close to home are the only good things left here.

This is a great place to save tons of money on your automobile needs and that being said unless you have great knowledge about repair this great place you really need a good mechanic. Example i broke a glass window for the back of a convertible and was getting quotes of as high as 2000.00 i finally had my mechanic go and get the entire convertible top with window at the cost of 75.00 and of course i needed to pay him labor which he never charged me the amount that some mechanics would have. So i guess i would never go to the junk yard by myself and your car is only as good as your mechanic .

Good yard that was decently clean. Definitely a better spot than u pull denver. No entry fee so no stress if you dont find anything and they have alot of gems here that get slept on because no one knows about this spot.

Friendly helpful staff thatll point you in the direction of the cars on their lot. Didnt find the part I needed but always love to see how much people reuse parts and keep cars from filling up landfills. Always interesting in a salvage yard!

This is one of the best pick and pulls around! And I have been to quite a few in my life! They are real good on the cost! And if you dont feel like pulling the parts yourself they do have mechanics on site to pull it for you for a nominal fee. Not many of the pick and pulls do that for you! The counter workers are pretty knowledgeable so if you need answers they will either be able to answer them or can direct you to where you would be able to get them! I highly recommend this place for your auto and truck needs! I love the custom truck with the airplane engine next to the sales counter! It is something to see if you like old custom hotrods!

Looking for gas cap for a 2008 Chevrolet Malibu LTZ..very specific to that submodel.Whistling Big Bad Leroy Brown..meaner than a junk yard dog..Did not find the LTZ..

Sadly the customer service here has gone from some of the best around, to the worst. This is coming from somebody who has been going here for many years. Reaching anybody for customer service is now impossible... I emailed and called numerous times, only to get no reply or sit on hold for eternity. Why bother answering the phone if all you do is let people sit on hold!? Ridiculous.

This is a good yard, they dont treat you like a thief by asking to look intour tool bag when checking out. I usually find what im looking for when i go. Prices are good and they dont charge to enter.plus you get free popcorn....

I like their prices, not happy that they drill holes in the gas tanks. Ruin the gas tanks because plastic plugs dont work. Gas eats plastic.

The yard is about 1/3rd the size it used to be even 5 years ago. And it is no longer organized into truck/car or import/domestic. So plan on having to walk the whole (smaller) yard. There may only be 2 of your model, but at opposite ends. Been going there since 2000, and in the last couple years you can tell its land is being sold off as they get smaller. Lots of employee turn over too, so the nice guy that helped you last month, probably isnt there this month.

I’ve had difficulty locating 2 wheels for my trailblazer and my vehicle had been sitting for over a week. Getting to and from work proved to be difficult during this time so I was reaching the end of my rope and extremely frustrated at this point. I had tried a couple different salvage yards that claimed to have the parts I needed but nope! They did not. So I called Colorado Auto parts, Alex did a quick search and sure enough he found them! In fact, they had more in stock than I needed. I was in complete and utter joy! The weight had been lifted off my chest and I was finally just a day away from getting my trailblazer fixed. The parts were accurate and the price was unbeatable. If I ever need parts again, I hope I don’t, I will definitely come back to CAP for my future purchases. Thank you Alex! You are awesome!

This is a great place to go for extra parts for that random tinkering (or fixing) that you might be doing with your car(s)! I was able to use their online catalog to tell whether or not they’d have the model of car parts that I needed, and was in and out with my door locks in no time! And for those who aren’t as tech savvy, you can ask the friendly front desk what cars they have and where to find them. Don’t forget to snag some of their free popcorn and water on your way in, just in case if you plan on being there a while!

I needed to sell a Chevy van for scrap. I called a few different places around town and the staff at Colorado Auto & Parts were the most transparent and easy to deal with. I know how this works. Salvage prices are $X/ton and the vehicle weighs X tons. The other places I contacted gave me a range of what they *might* give me. The salvage manager here calculated what theyd pay based on the weight of the vehicle and the price per ton. Not only were they the most upfront, they actually paid more than the other places Id contacted. Not a ton more but that was just a bonus. Being treated with honesty and respect would have made me go with them even if they hadnt offered more.

The staff here is pretty awesome. . . We ran into a situation that left us stranded in their parking lot. My husband had court in Denver county and we were running late, Ryan came over and tried to pay for my man to rise the bus so he wouldnt get in trouble. They also let us stayed parked in their yard a few days... free admission.. .cant beat it

Ive been going to other yards for a while and just found this one. And its the coolest one Ive ever been too! No admission fee! Free popcorn! The staff was awesome and the prices are lower on a most parts. Slightly smaller than some yards, but plenty of variety and the cars there arent so picked over. Ive always found what I need so far.

I have owned many used cars over the years and so I have relied heavily on CA for lots of replacement parts. Ive never been disappointed. Access is very easy and the guys at the counter are always helpful and polite. When passing through town, I have occasionally stopped in without any tools just to see if something might be available . Often I have found what I was looking for and you have been kind enough to loan me tools to get the part. Colorado Auto Parts is a VITAL necessity to its community. No admission.The check-in and check-out employees were both friendly.These factors already put them ahead of another salvage yard Id been to in the Denver area.Fortunately I was able to find a part I really needed (master power window/lock unit for an old Jeep) and some other miscellaneous interior trim parts. Cant say how the prices compare, but they seemed reasonable for their condition. Drivers interior door handle/master power switch with trim was $10. Front arm rests $5/ea. Both for early 90s Jeep Cherokee.Thanks to my first visit being so positive, I look forward to going back.

This place overcharges for parts. Especially when you pull them yourself. They are used and sometimes damaged parts. The internet sells parts cheaper. If the prices are for convenience, this place is definitely inconvenient. Wouldnt recommend it.

Loved it...I grew up foreging through old car junk yards and this place took me back. I found a floor mat set with Tinkerbell that I got for 4 bucks which probably cost 20-25 bucks originally. Plus, we got the part we went initially for. Wonderful day!!!

This place is in a good location for a lot of people. Dont go if you need to ask questions. The staff is helpful at times but they have a habit of making their customers regret coming. I generally avoid this place but often have no other realistic option. Im looking to buy an engine assembly and I imagine I will not enjoy any part of it. I just hope I luck out the first time and find a block without cracks.

Knowledgeable folks, they knew where the vehicles where, cars are not vultured over, there are plenty of lifts to use for pulling engines and transmissions, free popcorn and NO ENTRY FEE. My first pick and pull and it was a great experience. Too bad I didnt keep my receipt, because they do offer an exchange. Cool little yard.

Just called them to ask about a part. The guy on the phone was really professional. Even though they did not have the part I needed He did give me some alternative places to look. A lot of other places I have called just tell me Nope and hang up. When my POS car finally breaks down this will be the guys Ill call to come scrap it just because of the service and information they provided.

Just about to pull out of Colorado auto & parts, my Step Dad has been coming here for years and recommended that I go there for a reasonably priced used tire. I was looking to replace a single tire on my minivan and the staff was tremendously helpful in pointing me in the right direction, and giving me a good price.

I am a frequent costumer. Very frequent customer. I bought a motor. Bench tested compression, which was great changed all the seals on the motor and it turned out to be the wrong year. I was told I had thirty days to return it. I brought it back within the thirty days and they wouldnt even let me swap it for a different motor. Horrible customer service, especially after how much business I bring through. I recommend U-pull and Pay.

Erics customer service is absolutely horrible dropping the F bombs on me. Will not use Colorado auto ever again, I will discourage anybody else from using them

Worst U-Pull yard I have ever been to. I called ahead to ask how much the part would be and the guy on the phone told me $5-10. After spending an hour looking through their terribly organized and limited selection, I finally found the part I needed and pulled it. When I went to the front desk the guy didnt even ask me what I pulled the part from and charged me $13. I tried to negotiate but got shut down hardcore. Never been treated so horrible at a junk yard. The way these guys act you would think they have mints and fancy soaps in the bathrooms or something. Never going back there again, not even to spit on the curb. If I could give less than one star I would.

I really like this salvage yard other than the people that work there. They suck but the selection makes up for it. I found a complete 70s slant six engine which is very rare. I say go here but dont talk to the people unless you have to.

One Of The Best Places To Buy Parts,

I sent an employee there yesterday and she was talked down upon in the most grotesque fashion I have seen in my career. It turns out someone had a similar experience that we had and they wrongly assumed that she had wrote it. That customers experience was so similar to ours that she even thought that maybe we had written a review...well, we are writing one now! Absolutely horrendous attitude was shown that is entirely unacceptable in any professional environment. He even admitted to writing a fake review right next to the one in question right to her face. Unbelievable! We had a bad experience which sometimes happens but to wrongfully pick someone out whos name doesnt even match the gender name attached to the review in question....cant describe how unexpected this was.

I am a complete novice with anything related to the automotive industry, the professional team at CAP took incredible care of me. I was not conscious of what it was I needed nor do I have all the tools necessary to obtain the parts I visited their location for. However a gentleman named Erick and another named Mike walked me through the intricacies of the process and helped me figure out exactly where everything was located on their lot, what parts if another make/model are applicable and the potential lifespan of the parts I obtained based on their robust database. I was confused and they didnt make me feel incompetent for not being knowledgeable. Throughout my time on the lot, a technician of theirs worked with a commitment unlike any other to help me find a part which felt like a needle in a haystack. Some vehicles had the part but it was broken, others didnt have the correct size; as I grew discouraged this guy just kept at it and nothing deterred his focus on finding resolve!! Outside of a genius business model to give customers the warmth of a family owned and operated company culture, their customer service was outstanding and I highly recommend the expertise of the CAP team for anyone looking to have their automotive needs met. Theyve exceeded my expectations on more than one occasion and I definitely suggest you let them take care of whatever it is you need. Thanks CAP!

Never walked out happy, its run by morons who will low ball you a $65 a ton (current prices for complete cars at a recycler is $360 a ton). Want to strangle that blond hair fruit. OMG NO RESTROOMS IN THE YARD, AND WE SAW MORE THAN ONE PERSON PEEING OUT IN THE OPEN, NOT PICKED UP, VERY POOR INVENTORY, RUDE MANAGERS. WE ONLY HAVE BEEN THERE ONCE AND WILL NEVER GO BACK. THEN WENT DOWN THE ROAD TO LITTLETON UPULL AND IT WAS COMPLETELY DIFFERENT.

The staff was beyond kind in every sense of the word. The yard was the coolest ive ever been to, they have some really exquisit finds,would reccomend to anyonewho cares about cars.

Crummy Company. They were supposed to pick up our vehicle for donation. Not only did they never show, they never called to reschedule. After calling them and leaving a message to get rescheduled, still no call back. Lousy customer service. If I could give 0 stars, I would.
