I do not recommend this guy! He penny pinched me for all he could get out of me. It also took him over a year to finish my short block build.

I dropped a 302 off to Rob over 2 years ago. He was suppose to tear it down and let me know what it needed. Never even heard anything back. Dont waste your time, buy a crate motor. All the knowledge and skill in the world means nothing if you dont take care of business and your customers!

Took my 4.6l v8 romeo iron block there to be bored/honed, cleaned/heat treated and prepped for a cobra crank shaft and forged internals. Didnt get the work done in a decent time frame. Took almost 6 months. Never answers the phone, just lets it ring, the answering machine is always full. Only form of communication that seemed to work was by email and it was spaced out responses. Apparently there was more than himself working there but I never saw anyone else. When I got the engine block and crank back it looked okay only to find out he did not give me back all my ARP hardware I had bought and provided. I was missing 2 ARP main stud bolts, 1 main cap jack screw, and 2 ARP side bolts. I had to buy again all new hardware sets from ARP.... The block was not notched properly as he said it was to account for the forged cobra crank. The crank binds and would not rotate fully because of clearance on the engine block. It was an absolute terrible experience and then I found out they closed or moved locations so I had no way to address the issues. Forced me to start over it felt like and find a whole different machine shop.

I had him get a set of head studs for a Audi 1.8t a4 Quattro told him everything he should have known took 2 months to get in than I get there in take them home not looking at the box there for a 5 cylinder Audi they dont even have them motors in the usa but call him back told me he would help me out and order the right stuff never did good way to run a business.

Rob is truly an expert and does excellent work. He is very knowledgeable about Ford engines, especially classic windsors, clevelands, and FEs, but does very well with later model builds like modulars and duratecs too. He also does great work on all makes of engines. Ive been a long time customer and simply havent had a bad experience. I use his engines in my daily driver, truck, and drag car.
