Dr. Wendel is wonderful. As someone who was new to glasses, I cannot say how thankful I am for Dr. Wendels kind bedside manner and the comfortable atmosphere provided. The staff at K&K have been nothing but helpful and kind. The service has been wonderful and patient specific. I would highly recommend K&K!

Friday afternoon, May 29th, I arrived from Punta Gorda, a 45 minute drive away,, at 2.56 to take delivery of one pair of newly ordered glasses, and to have new lenses installed into three pairs of existing glasses. The crux of my experience is that at or about 4:00pm I was left standing in the K&K parking lot with the new glasses still not properly fitted, and told to come back on Monday. Because of preexisting obligations, the soonest I plan to be back in Englewood is Tuesday morning, June 9th.BTW, I would much prefer to air this experience privately to Dr, Wendel, but Im unable to locate any individuals e-mail address on the web site. Consequently, the only open option is through the review process.

My visit to K and K yesterday was very satisfactory. I Liked Wendy Wendel very much. She was friendly and thorough in her examination. The office was very clean. The staff were very friendly, felt like I had been going there more than just this one visit. The Optial Department were helpful in showing me several frames that would compliment my face and giving me advice on the transition lens. I am feeling confident that I made a good choice in getting an appointment with them.

I went to a large eye center and was very disappointed. It was very unorganized and the staff, including the doctors were not pleasant. I decided to give K K a try. I saw Wendy and was extremely satisfied with not only her level of competence but also her personality. I have been in the medical field for 25 years and can confidently recommended this facility very highly. All facets of care were handled very professionally.

Dr. Wendel is amazing with children with disabilities. My son has Aspergers Disorder and my daughter has ADHD. Dr. Wendel was patient, understanding, and refreshing. Staff was pleasant and professional as well. Dr. Wendel sees our entire family and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for eye care.

Was told I needed cataract surgery. Surgeon said Not needed. Told I was not a candidate for contacts when actually I was. Wrong rx on glasses . Gave me higher priced contacts and wanted to charge me to try other brands even though trails are given free from manufacturers
