Nice little local ice cream spot with many flavors and options to choose from. Counter was understaffed due to an emergency but the young lady working it happily busted her butt to keep things moving and to keep every customer happy. Great energy, customer service, and great job!

The best local ice cream shop and now they have some bakery items too. Plenty of choices including my two personal favorites, pistachio and maple walnut which are a staple on the menu.Hubby loves the orange pineapple shake and I usually add a rice krispie treat in my order too (even though I have to do the chubby lady walk of shame away from that register without a bag) 😂.If youre from out of town, its a great place to get a tie dye T-shirt from a local favorite shop.

Delicious ice cream. They have both soft serve and regular ice cream. They have a great choice of toppings and wonderful selection of flavors.They serve generous portions of ice cream. Staff are exceptionally friendly and efficient.There is plenty of parking and outdoor seating. This establishment has been in business since 2009 for a reason.

Cute little shop next to Marias Restaurant.I thoroughly enjoyed my treat of Toasted Coconut & Key Lime with Cheesecake. I will say the key lime is closer to lime, but the tart was offset by the sweet cheesecake chunks. Yummy!

We went there twice while down there on vacation and they were really nice and ice cream tasty. I just wish they would make their shakes thicker. I got a shake both times there. First time I ordered normal second time I ordered it thick, but both times it was like drinking flavored milk. My husbands shake wasnt that thin when he ordered his second shake thick and a different girl made his the second time we were there so I think its just the girl that put mine together both times.

They used to be really good years ago. I think they get ice cream from a New company. I usually get Mint chip when I go to ice cream shops and this one synthetic tasting and leaves a horrible after taste. The chocolate chips are synthetic and soo hard you can barely bite into them. Real chocolate should melt in your mouth but these ones break ur teeth. Ill try something else there one more times but that flavor is a no go.

There were lots of different flavors to choose from, however, the ones we choose were not that great. The Butterfinger shake I had was just ok. It was not thick at all. The Dreamhawk (?) flavor my wife ordered was a no.

Best ice cream ever. i can eat 3 scoops and not feel sick. the workers aee very kind. it can be a little pricy, but its definelty worth it. i get cookies and cream, raspberry truffle, bdaycake, or choaclate fantasia and im always happy.

Terrible ice cream. All the flavors tasted fake, like they were sweetened with artificial sweetener. We were 4 people and each of us had 2 flavors each, and not a single flavor was good. I dont understand how anyone could think this ice cream was tasty.

Downright delicious ice cream. We came here on a whim and Im happy we did. Very quaint setting and the staff are friendly and patient. So many different tasty flavors. Theres no way you could go wrong here. Favorite flavors would be toasted coconut and cappuccino kahula.

I see the same flavors in supermarkets as they have in scoops, and scoops is way better. They consider the people with nut, no fat, and low sugar allergies. Cheap prices and is pretty busy because it is the best ice cream in town! No need to hesitate about weather because the have outdoor and indoor seating to fit your comfort. Very nice service that likes to here your stories. I would definitely recommend it and often go there myself. I hope you like a better scoop as much as I did. Thanks a better scoop! 9,000 new cases of covid 19 in Florida yesterday and we walked in for ice cream to find all employees NOT WEARING MASKS and all customers standing around spewing their own personal droplets into the air. We turned around and walked out. Ice cream shops are plentiful around here and some of them care about the safety of the community--we will spend our money there.

Took my son for his first birthday to try ice creme for the first time. Such a cute, fun place! The employee so nice as well! Definitely will be back to try some of the yummy flavors!

Love, love, love this place. Each size cone has an abundance of ice cream on it. The flavors are great (my favorite is chocolate peanut butter so save some for me). Pricing is good compared to the amount of ice cream you get. The place is clean nicely decorated with a few tables inside and outside. Orders are placed at the counter. It is w/c accessible, however, the place is quite small and wheelchairs wont have much room to move. You may run into a line of folks waiting to get ice cream but it is worth the wait. It is only ice cream products. No sandwiches or anything else. They only sell what they do best and that is ice cream!

Our family has been visiting A Better Scoop for nearly the 10 years. Every time we visit, we get amazing ice cream and even better service! There is always a large selection of ice cream flavors, sugar free options, blended treats and mix-in options, toppings and even sorbets and whips now!

This is one of few places that still has ice cream soda I never knew that was a real thing. I had chocolate coded waffle cup with a single scoop of coffee Ice cream with cool whip, caramel sauce and a cherry with rainbow sprinkles. I enjoyed eating the waffle cup as much as the ice cream. This place sells nothing but whole made ice cream as if it could not get any better. We make the tip to this ice cream shop every vacation to Englewood beach the night before we have to travel back to Orlando.

Easy to notice when you drive by. Building is bright bluish color. Different types of ice cream flavors, both traditional like vanilla, chocolate and unique like alligator tracks. They offer different types of cones including sugar, wafer, chocolate dipped AND gluten free.

They pack those pints so tight you get more than your moneys worth. Great selection of flavors and those girls are the hardest working girls in Englewood... a true Englewood gem

This is the best ice-cream I have ever had in my life! The workers are super friendly and helpful. There is so many different flavors, any person who likes ice-cream would find something they like there. There is also vegan ice cream for vegan peeps.

Unquestionably the best ice cream around. Many, great flavors, staff always very upbeat. Locally made ice cream is hard and reasonably priced. You can sit outside and the last time I was there I had two or three conversations with strangers. So I think people are happy to be there.

Great homemade ice cream, we ordered black raspberry, pistachio, strawberry,cherry,toasted coconut, chocolate chip and chocolate Fantasia, all were very good and clearly fresh. The dishes were glass if you choose to eat in the shop and it was very neat. Great proximity to the beautiful, Englewood beach (which is amazing).
