What a great grocery store. The produce was all beautiful and fresh, store is well kept, the employees are all friendly and professional. Truly wish they didnt have to wear masks. I thought this giant eagle 10 times better than any Giant Eagle I saw thus far. Everything is organized and well stocked. The best part is that you can get down the rows. And then there live cashiers.

I’d give York Town Giant Eagle a 0 if I could. They turned me away for a covid test even though I qualified, was in close contact with someone infected with covid, registered for a test online, and was qualified for an appointment online. Waited for 2 hours for my turn in line only to have the girl at the pharmacy tell me no, despite my preapproval. What a stressful thing to go through for no reason. Don’t go here.

My Fiance uses them for their pharmacy. They need to revamp the drive thru for two lanes to speed up the service. Sometimes they are 6 cars deep spilling into the main entrance way, and its easy to kill 20 min waiting for your script. They have the space.

The best of what Erie has to offer as far as a grocery store goes. Its always very clean, the staff is friendly, the store is well-stocked and has a great selection. Plus its a very large store with a lot to offer including pre-made food (that actually tastes good!) Love me some Giant Eagle.

They had my scripts ready on time very helpful. then I went to front cashier to pay for my groceries she was nice and pack groceries nicely and gave us a smile thank us told us too have good evening

My wife and I shop there several times a month. The employees there are always friendly and willing to help you if you ask. I get my meds from the pharmacy and there service is wonderful.

Very friendly staff and store was clean on appearance and lots of variety of gropheries but there was a mouse by the dairy section that ran in front of me towards the back of the store by the employee office .well Im aware its hard to get rid of pests in businesses such as super markets etc. It was still quiet a shock .

I am a loyal Giant Eagle customer, usually shopping at the Yorktown store. Many items are better priced at Walmart. However Giant Eagle clearly wins with cleanliness, presentation, and cordial employees.

The fresh-seafood department stinks up the store. Its stench is overpowering. Something has to be wrong in that department for its its smell to be so foul. I wouldnt make purchases from there. It really is bad.

Fully vaccinated with card, Federal lifting of a mask mandate yet was denied entry. So apparently Giant Eagle in Yorktown has caved to the usual bodies that keep this town depressed and broke.

Nick the register manager does an outstanding job. He leads with great calmness even in stressful situations.

Helpful and friendly employees are the norm for me when I shop here. Tonight I really wanted GRAPE flavored drink sticks but the brands I usually buy were missing grape as an option. I was disappointed and a little grumbly, but the young man stocking the shelf helped me try and find it and was apologetic it wasn’t available. I don’t blame those stocking the shelves, they are not the ones ordering usually. The young man who was my cashier was also very pleasant and engaging. Although prices are a little bit higher at Giant Eagle, (than Walmart) I do enjoy their staff much more.

Wife recently bought 4# of Snow Crab Legs from your store.Must admit we were EXTREMELY disappointed. Small size (I question if they were even legal to harvest)This is our once a year treat to ourselves. VERY DISAPPOINTED.Will NEVER buy again from Giant Eagle.HAVING WORKED WITH CRAB INTHE PAST, THESE WERE OBVIOUSLY #2 or #3 QUALITY.NOT WORTH $10+ DOLLARS PER POUND BY ANY STRETCH OF IMAGINATION.EXPECTED BETTER QUALITY, FLAVOR AND SIZE. Not the best during peak hours. The lines are a bit of a pain since they dont do the single queue like the other giant eagle. But its my favorite to go to for quick stops during down hours. Easy to navigate with great prices

Upon entering, the sight of the neatly arranged produce rows scratched the itch in my brain. The store was uncharacteristically neat for a Giant Eagle, and I’ve never seen such pristine shelves. Whoever is organizing your store needs a raise. We don’t want to go back to Pittsburgh’s Giant Eagles.

Went to pharmacy drive thru today. Was fourth in line. Waited 1 hour to get my script. Terrible and never going back!

Ive been shopping this store for 15 years, mostly because of proximity to my house. Since it became a company run store three or so years ago it has steadily improved. The produce section has better quality items now.The prepared foods area is much improved, no more undercooked rotisserie chickens.The meat counter had showed the most improvement. Except for one guy, they are very helpful and willing to assist you and know where everything is behind the counter as well as on the floor display units.Giant Eagle runs some good specials so watch for their adds. They seem to usually have frozen seafood specials, too. They also have a curbside pickup program which I have never tried.

Ok. Im 53 years old so I get it. I grew up with a different concept of how things should be. Overall, I have no complaints. The store is in decent condition and the staff is always very helpful. I think Giant Eagles prices are a tad on the high side but hey, no ones perfect. However the should NOT smell like the bay at low tide. Come on, I know winter came early and you dont want to suck out all the heat. I get it. Can we find a happy medium? And exhaust system INSIDE the seafood case that is vented to the outside. Maybe change the ice more often? I mean work with me people.

I am partially crippled. The cashier was very helpful. The store was exceptionally clean...employees washing and sanitizing everything... My partner, Carmela Witkowski was with me. Giant Eagle, Yorktown Center is the best.

Its a good store, Giant Eagle is doing their best to compete with Wegmans, but Wegmans was rated best Grocery store chain in america by Consumer Reports.The store at 12th street is better than Giant Eagles space ship styled store near Millcreek Mall. The store has most everything you are looking for the interior is somewhat dated, but who goes to a grocery store for ambiance?The Giant Eagle Store Harborcreek is newer and slightly better. Wegmans is best, but unless you have lots money or cant find a unique item, Id would stick to Giant Eagle.

Overly priced

Lady in customer service told me you guys didnt carry wood chips or pellets for smoking food. While my wife was standing right in front of the pellets. I needed chips. I asked the lady what her name was and she hung up the phone on me. I tried to call back and nobody would answer the phone.

I will say since buffalo ny dont have one of these we need one.. i really like giant eagle and the customer service is great.

They tend to not keep alot of frozen items that I want and they carry in stock. As well as i have been going there regularly since before the beginning of the virus and all of the sudden they stop carrying tru moo/ deans milk and chocolate milk. They do keep up on sanitation here and arent as crowded as say Wal-Mart. However I dont like going online to place a pickup order and it not being able to tell you if they have an item in stock as well as show items on it they dont even carry anymore. I think their app and website need some updating in order to avoid the inconvience I have endured with it.

Giant Eagle has all the amenities you want in a modern grocery store, including some very reasonably priced, well portioned prepared meals. I went the for firecracker red, white and blue popsicles and there they were, as advertised on the website. A positive shopping experience.

A bit too expensive honestly

I never had a problem at this Giant Eagle ever. It’s a very decent size, not to big but just right! The prices are not great but it’s Giant Eagle. I go here a lot to get grocery’s and the staff and management is amazing!

Parking lot is huge and well lit. Store is always well stocked and immaculately clean. Great variety, lots of open registers. Drive thru pharmacy, dry cleaners, etc.

Very clean and well organized. The new store is a great addition to the area over the old one. Got a money order and some fruit and was in and out with fresh mouth watering strawberries

I will be shredding my cards as soon as I get home.
