This guy has no idea what he is doing. Twice Ive had other auto repair shops say e amazon mis diagnosed and charged for stuff that was not necessary. exactly what you do not want in a mechanic. some of the reviews are obviously fake,

Professional, efficient, and great work! When I first called Dave got me in within 2 days (it was a 2 week wait other places in town!). He had my car diagnosed within 1 hour and new starter ready to go by noon! I thought I needed my serpentine belt replaced as well (thats what the oil change people told me) but Dave was nice and honest and told me until it had 6 cracks or 6 inches of damage it is still safe, save my money!A few days later my car had starting issues again so I called back and he had the next problem fixed in 72 hours and again did not overcharge me.Did I mention he puts a rose on your drivers seat when its all done? What a kind touch! Thank you, I have found my new mechanic in Eugene and would highly recommend to anyone!

Dave takes great pride in walking through the process of each car and wants people to be confident they know what is going on with their car when they bring it in, what needs to be done, what does not, what is most important, what can wait. They take great care with your vehicle and he leaves a rose on your seat. They are car Drs and you want to take care of your car so it will last and be safe for your family. They are trustworthy and certified mechanics so you know they know their stuff! This is really a bonus to have a mechanic show that will be honest. I had two places tell me I needed certain repairs around $1200 and I was worried it was a safety issue. I had heard from so many people in my group that Dave was trustworthy so I took my car there and after a thorough inspection I do not have a safety issue and do not need that repair! I have a list of things to work on so I can plan and do them as I can. This is invaluable and I so appreciate Dave and the crew at East Amazon!! Then he places a rose on the seat of your car! I recommend them to everyone I know that mentions needing car work! A place that will be honest with you that your money would be better spent getting a new car rather than dumping money into a pit that needs as much money put into it. That is a great thing and will help you save money in the long run.

I have had cars serviced at East Amazon for many years and have always been very happy with the service and advice provided. Five stars from me. I usually do work myself but recently have had to divert from that approach. I took a vehicle here for an oil change and was happy with the clean results, the customer service and the knowledgeable staff. It is true that an oil change is not much to go by -but I would say it is enough to get a feel for if a shop means well or not. This is a good clean little shop that I think means well and does good work.

Honest, efficient, accountable, transparent - wonderful shop. Go see these guys.

She feels like a new truck (well almost) Because of circumstances I had let maintenance on my vehicle go until all those mystery noises needed attention. Wonderful service, quick turnaround, complete diagnostic evaluation. Though I was not able to have everything done at once, they informed me what was the most important---so as the $$ (from my ship) comes in I will get the additional repairs done. Get all the details before going. Scheduled my appointment in advance and just said I needed a maintenance check and some oil. There were no other questions so I assumed they would take care of me. I woke up early to get there, only for them to tell me they couldnt give me a ride because I didnt ask and because they dont drive to West Eugene. Couldnt get my car serviced, so I had to schedule somewhere else instead. Im sure they are good people, but it would help them out to clarify things with the customer beforehand. I want to support local business and hope that next time they will get all of the details worked out ahead of time.

At first I feared going to any mechanic because of the reviews but east Amazon Auto really didnt have any bad reviews at all. called last week and got an appointment for today. They went through everything found all the problems that was there, but they were able to fix all of it and in a very timely manner at a very decent price. They were respectful, decent, have a clean building, clean shop. The work got done quickly. What needed to be done was itemized clearly and thank you for the rose on the seat. I did not feel confused or take advantage of or left out everything was explained thoroughly and I appreciate them. God bless these folks.

They snapped a valve trying to get more money out of me.

I woke up yesterday morning like any other morning before work. And come to find out my car won’t start. It started the day before but today it just won’t.I get it towed to East Amazon Auto repair and within a day of checking things out they figured out exactly what was keeping my car from starting.A faulty Starter Interrupter Device from the dealership we bought the car from was the culprit.The issue was fixed in record time. Had my AC fixed here. When I called for an estimate, Dave chatted with me for a long time about replacing my condenser, which I already knew needed to be done, and warned me that he was likely within 10% of any other shop and that I should get it done by somebody that I trusted. My car was ready with a rose by 3 PM the next day, for 12% less than another place had quoted me. Needless to say, I trust these guys now.

Dave and his team fixed my car this week. He was very honest and forthcoming with details about my car. This has been an excellent experience, Ill be coming back for all my auto needs!

Have had car work done here many times and these folks are always friendly, conscientious, timely, and offer good rates.

I took my car there to get ac system fixed over the phone owner sounded very knowledgeable about what the issue is and told me it could be about 130.00 to 150.00 to fix the issue and diagnose issue with blower motor i get a call and he tells me that there was to much free on in system said i fixed that issue and there is no leaks and system works fine said the bower motor resister is bad and the ac switch is failing but i have ac on 1 and 4 2 and 3 just blow vent and it will cost 211.00 so is 60 over what we discussed i paid him and get into my car i have no blower for ac or otherwise except on 4 just had vent so in my opinion he did not give me what i paid him for i went strait in and voiced my concerns he just said that the resister need replaced its working intermitly after i go drive it about 15 min its not blowing no ac at any speed through vent so it is not as he said when i stoped it off 1 through 4 air speed all worked i had ac on 1 and 4 now its worse then it was so i take it back and show him whats going on he agree that its working completely backwards them what it was and wants me to fork out 150 more to fix what he said was working hell no after much argument he did refund my money and told me never to come back there no problem never ever ever will i use that shop for any reason as he complains aboit working on it half the day bla bla bla i did put a 50 $ bill on the counter and walked out i would not use that place if i was you

I called East Amazon because I know Eric the technician, talk to Dave about working on a car for a 501c but he was apprehensive about working on it due to it being from back east and having a potential problem with Rusty bolts.

Called to make an appointment and was told that they dont work on anything older than 1995!
