I was blown away by the customer service I received here. Even though the service department was busy, Abraham helped fit me in to get my oil changed before I was driving out of town. They even washed and vacuumed my car (Im sorry it was so dirty). Really great customer experience from the sales and service department. Definitely will be back:)

The buying process was great, of course. But the car had a check engine light on for a cylinder 2 misfire. The team told me it was probably due to pressure washing the engine and would go away in no time. I didnt buy that, so I had them give me a 4 year bumper to bumper warranty and told them that me buying the car was contingent on them fixing that issue.I bought the car and the issue didnt go away. So I brought the car back the next day and a salesman lied through his teeth telling me thats just how it drove. You could literally feel the misfire.As it turns out, this was a known issue. The car had already had service for this problem 3 months ago and it had come back. Its a good thing I got the warranty because now its been in their shop since I bought it over a month ago. Im now making payments on a car Ive never driven. They have not even attempted to contact me with updates and seem annoyed when I give them my weekly call to check in.Im incredibly disappointed. After buying the car Ive talked to many friends who have also had issues with Sheppard. I should have done my research.

I spent weeks looking for an older model Mustang GT and found what I was looking for at Sheppard Motors. My buying experience was great but not long after I got the car home I couldn’t drive it. The vehicle would not hold a charge. I bought a new battery but it was quickly drained and would not charge. At that point, just before Christmas, I had only driven the car about 100 miles and it was dead in my garage. I found a repair shop that worked diligently to find the issue. It was determined that the Smart Junction Box inside the car had water damage. Total repairs including battery replacement exceeded $1500. When I called Sheppard motors to ask if there was anything they could do, I was told “sorry, car was sold ‘as is’”. They would t even meet me half way with the repair costs. I just paid my second car payment and am truly disappointed. I would not recommend buying a used car from this dealership. Buyer BEWARE.

My husband and I bought a used car from Sheppard and were pleased with our experience. Abraham was as good as a Jungle Cruise guide from Disneyland, taking us on a great test run.Once we decided to purchase the car things trucked right along, one star deduction for the printer failure at the end of the deal. Everyone we dealt with was friendly and professional.

We purchased a used car four weeks ago for our 18 year old daughter. Our experience was so great, we went back and my 22 year old son bought a car four weeks later. Everyone from Robin who answers their phones, sales (DEFINITELY ASK FOR ABRAHAM), to finance (Mahalo John!), to Brian in the service department is fan-freaking-tastic! Their selection of new and used cars is incredible. They really do make you feel like family! We’ll be back again.

Beware, shady business practices, contacted them about a gti, asked a few questions, Tony Johnson said hed get back to me, ignored me for 2 days, then jacked up the price $1200. Then told me it had sold a few days earlier, before I had even asked about it. After seeing some interest guess they thought they could ignore all the interested buyers and get more money out of it. Id stick with more reputable businesses.

I know all dealers gouge a good bit on service. I grew up with a mechanic as a father so I get they mark up a ton. This place not only does that but they then go a once and beyond to find ways to gouge money out of you. I went in for a check engine light. They stated there was damage under the car including a sensor and oil pan and it was so visible they’d send me photographic evidence of the issue. Alas you’d think a visual inspection and connecting the diagnostic tool in real fast would be a cheap cost. LOl no. They wanted almost $200 for what they basically said took 10 minutes of work.This doesn’t even get to the fact they wanted to charge $800 for a sensor replacement and replacing an oil pan the other shop I took it to said did not need replacing, only monitoring. If you have a VW take it to Alex’s or Autohaus. They’re more honest and don’t work to rip people off. Will never be taking this car to Shepard again for service or repairs.

Was looking for a Honda CRV and went to Sheppard Motors. Matthew Fideler pulled one out front for us to test drive and we ended up falling in love with the vehical! Matt was very friendly and easy going, no pressure at all. He made buying a vehical so much less stressful and he was very knowledgeable to our questions. He and Sheppard Motors made it a breeze to take home our beautiful CRV! Overall a great car buying experience!! Thank you very much!! I highly recommend this place!! & Will return in future!!
