From the very beginning when they very first opened and I have my very first black rock coffee and experience with the most amazing friendly staff I got to know very well after becoming very dependent on that amazing coffee and service! I wish I had a better memory to remember everyones names but Darren Megan Kenny Cheyenne and all of you whose faces made so many of my hard really rough days so much much better you couldnt have known! You are always so good to me and still are when Im able to come through which is rare now but every time Im so happy to see a reoccurring :-) amongst the newcomers working there! I miss you all the original crew who have moved on to other parts of the world and life🤍❤️🤍❤️🤗🌻

First time coming here.The coffee shop is really cute. Definitely gives off a bar vibe. The music is loud and they definitely play rock/pop music. Not my type.I brought my kids here and it really wasnt for them. They dont have a lot of pastries, which was the main reason i came here. The coffee was really good though. Id probably come here without my kids.

I love Black Rock! The staff is always super friendly and some how always remember my order even though I go occasionally, I am always greeted by a kind familiar face! Barista at the window and taking my order was nice, and repeated back my order correctly. Unfortunately the barista who made my order did not do Light Ice despite what the barista at the window told me.

This place has some yummy coffee choices on their menu and a bit of a Dutch Bros vibe with their young staff. Its a good spot.

This is a very roomy coffee bar. Employees are fun and engaging, Easy social distance seating inside and outside, Free wifi. Great place to study or write a screen play.

My fiancé and I have come here a couple times a week for the past month via the drive thru— we can both attest the espresso is delicious and the drinks are consistent. 😊We’re always impressed with how warm the staff is too.

Ive been coming here since the day they first opened, and will always go here above any other coffee place. Not only are the drinks top notch, but the customer service is the best ive ever received from a coffee shop. Especially from Destiny and Jaden!

A great place to have a coffee break while driving thru Eugene. They have a good selection of syrups for those of us that like flavored lattes. A good tea selection as well. Free wi-fi and very clean environment.

The employees here are always awesome and apparently Im coming in too much because they are starting to recognize me by my order. Would give 5 stars but Ive had a few times where Ive ordered food and have received the wrong item. Im sure they would fix it if i said something but I dont like to make a fuss.

When black Rock first opened the coffee was good the staff was nice you got what you paid for, now the lady at the window isnt the slightest bit respectful she gets my order wrong most of the time the coffee is inconsistent sometimes its too sweet sometimes its burnt and bitter i was a regular at black rock and nobody should feel uncomfortable because the lady at the window is judgmental as hell or wonder if there gonna get there order correct but thats what happens when you tip snobby little kids i guess wont be going back

I’ve been there multiple time and they take a very long time to take my order and make my drink. They do not show me my total when paying and I feel that they are tipping themselves because my total is different every time and I get the same thing every time. My fuel smoothie are always tasting like coffee or tea as well.

I was counting down days until Black Rock came yo Eugene! Everybody who works here is so kind and its so open and welcoming. The drinks have turned out super yummy every time too.

This establishment had lost my business as a consumer and as a driver for DoorDash!I have been to this Black Rock location numerous times and I have been to others as well, such as the one in Bend!The difference between the two is like night and day!The last time I was at this establishment, I attempted to voice my concern to the employees in a respectful manner there that their enacted policy of marking the orders ready, though the order is not, is deceitful and back handed!The orders are usually not started until the customer or driver arrives though they mark the order ready continuously!I was then refered to the owner, who just happened to be there at the time, who had a matter of fact attitude and did not understand that the way they conduct business is wrong because they are taking time away from their customers and drivers and recommended I dont pick up orders in that case, if I had a problem with it because thats the way they set up contracts with DoorDash!Compared to the location in Bend, this location is lousy at customer service and has lost my business as a consumer and a driver for DoorDash!

Feels like Starbucks and Dutch brothers have a surfer cousin. Its clean and the stuff Ive had tasted good. No big surprises but no disappointments. Ill probably be back at some point.

I feel bad leaving this review but it needs to be said. I have been to this black rock maybe 7 times out of those 7 times I have received correctly made drinks maybe twice which I believe is very pour service from a place with such a high review and recommendation. Personally I will not be spending money here any longer till this issue is resolved.

Came here for the first time today! Owner was patient and gave good recommendations as we decided on our order. I got an almond milk latte, it was delicious. Pleased to see local pastries and even gluten free (Elegant Elephant) options. Space is beautiful and modern, music was a good level. I watched a few interactions with customers, they were consistently personal and positive. We will be back!

My all-time FAVORITE coffee! The taste is other-worldly and oh-so-gooood! The team is flawless here and makes my order easy. :) Even when I order java for my staff to keep them going throughout the day, the team at BR manages complex orders well. Love the points I can earn as well! 10/10 excellent shop with excellent coffee and excellent people!

Their coffee is decent and food was good. But their chairs are soooo uncomfortable!! Such a bummer, I wish I could come work here- but unfortunately it’s not worth it.

Our entire staff at a dental office down the street was excited when Black Rock opened, we all had very high expectations. Our experience has only exceeded that, in large part to Kenny the manager. His great attitude every day and ability to make customers feel like friends is extremely impressive. We’re lucky to have them in Eugene and look forward to continuing our support. The entire staff is great and you can tell moral is high. Job well done!!!

My favorite coffee place in the area. The coffee is always strong and flavorful. The people working here are very nice and quick to correct any mistakes. The rewards system is good too, constantly getting free drinks.

Reminds me a lot of dutch brothers. Great atmosphere and workers but horrible coffee. I got a late that was room temperature with zero foam. It seemed like they microwaved/heated it up rather than actually steaming and frothing it. Tasted like sugary water with a hint of milk.

The staff is friendly. Drinks are good. Pastries are local. (Could be awesome if they are from Reality Kitchen!) Theres wifi and plenty of seating options. For ADA, they will/do lower the volume if you ask, but there are only highboy tables near the outlets.

They have tons of options for sweet coffee drinkers, but the espresso is pretty inconsistent from barista to barista. The baristas are very sweet and laid-back, they make great conversation!
