Last few times going here the espresso is so watered down with milk its undrinkable, cant even taste the coffee. had to pour a couple drinks down the sink, just tastes like weird hot flavored milk. not giving these guys any more chances, such a waste of money, disappointing because i used to love going here :( save your money for a local shop, metro bru is amazing, & just down the street!
So happy to see W 11th open full hours again. My fav coffee place in W Eugene!Just an FYI please don’t serve old decaf in the evenings. Ordered a decaf latte and decaf mocha on 10/4 and they were undrinkable due to the horrible old coffee flavor. Normally absolutely no complaints at this location.
Great coffee, fast service and an espresso bean with every coffee. Sometimes I dont want to talk about how much fun Im having today, I just want my damn coffee. This is the place for that. Will be going back.
Decided to share a 32 ounce drink with my friend. The customer service guy hears us discussing it and offers to divide it into 2 cups for us.We accept and he tells me hes not charging for the 2 extra shots I asked for. We chat, hes super sweet and helpful, hands us our drinks and tries to charge us for 2-16 ounce drinks... So $11.50 for one drink.We remind him we specifically ordered 1-32 ounce drink. I had literally held up one finger at him when we decided to just share. As we talk, a manager busts in and tells us that shell do us a favor this one time and only charge for one drink... BUT, the next time we ask for it split, we have to pay for 2 drinks. Then Mr. Offer to split the drink and give us shots free pipes up that he also didnt even charge the 2 shots.I gently inform the manager that its fine to pay 2 drinks if we order that but she needs to train her reps to not offer two cups when folks order one. AND to not offer free shots if hes going to use it against us.They did refund partial payment for the second drink with no explanation of what the refund was. He just shoved a couple dollars at us and walked away.They had the nerve to go back and charge the 2 shots they had specifically volunteered for free.Off day all over for them. I was shocked 😲. Ive literally never had an issue there before and today was amateur hour playing switch the order and charge whatever they can.The drink was fabulous as usual.
This is a recent addition to the plethora of drive-though coffee huts in Eugene. Not only is their name clever, their coffee is better than most offerings and their prices are better than Starbucks. Also, the customer service is great! The only drawback is their hours; if you want a cup of Joe past eight PM, youre out of luck.

Love their coffee but the West 11th Human Brean has been closed every time we go. Since I’m making a fairly long trip for coffee, this is very disappointing. Today they are closed at 3:30 on a Wednesday. Can’t rely on them:(
Just went through the drive up. Asked for whip cream on my drink which they did not put on it. When I inquired about thier error they offered me a lid of whip cream and proceeded to let me know that was the only option as they could not take the drink back to add the whip cream.. Sorry but I do not want a lid of whip cream by itself in my car to make a mess and the point was to have the whip cream on my drink. They should have offered to remake the drink since they cannot take the drink back to fix it. Totally ruined the experience. Wont he back! This town is saturated with coffee stands it is super easy to find one that will make the drink correctly or fix the mistake.
This is the second time in less than a month Ive gone out of my way to swing by to pickup a coffee and theyre closed at 500 in the afternoon. Plenty of competitors out there with consistent hours. Youve lost my business.
Man, let me first say it pains my heart to give such a low review, as my man and I LOVE the coffee from Human Bean. My Man is from the coast, He gets several drinks a day from the local Human Bean. He will get at least 2 coffees a day. At $9.50 a drink due to his order and shot count we are very picky that our drink is made right. Most of the time this isnt a problem. The workers are usually wonderful and remember us. The drinks are amazing most of the time. Plus, when they arent the workers will happily do what needs to be done to fix the problem. So i bet you are wondering why the 2 stars then? You obviously enjoy this product and company that state ment is accurate. The problem is that this location is randomly closed at random times. Today was the second day in a row that the location is just closed. Before yesterday the location was closed at 12, or 3, or 5 or whatever. Who knows? We plan our days to include coffee. So after driving several times to this location during the normal hours... The hours posted on google... You know, where everyone goes when they want to know the working hours of a buisness. So its super disapointing when we go out of our way for my mans favorite drink, even after looking it up and its just closed.
Rudest place I have ever been. One star is too much. We were in line to get me a coffee and my husband asked if he could through his coke cup away so I could have room in the console of our car for my coffee. The blonde girl working said no they do not take public trash. He explained the situation and she was so rude. Last time I will ever visit a Human Bean. Way too money great coffee places out there.
The Irish creme was good. A bit overly sweet but that is to be expected.
The staff here are funny and kind whenever I stop by. I love the chocolate covered espresso bean on top of my drink as a nice touch.
We have just recently started coming here. The house coffee is excellent and the one that we ordered with sugar and cream was perfect. The young lady that took our order outside was very pleasant and attentive. She looked professional and looked very put-together. Inside staff was great, too. And we love the coffee bean on the top of our drinks. Thank you all!

Im not a coffee drinker, but today I was in the mood. When I asked about the Java Chip drink, the girl told me Well its like the Starbucks Java Chip. Which literally did not help at all...I also was confused on the sizing and when I tried to clarify on if it was a 20oz or a 24oz, she said 24oz. She then turned around and I heard another girl tell her We dont have 24oz. So I assumed she would default to a 20oz, nope. Gave my the 30-whatever and charged me for that. My drink was melted before I got home.LAME.

I wish I could give it more stars but 2 is what you guys earned and for the following reasons. The customer service of the staff was not the greatest. Dont get me wrong, the ladies there where friendly, nice, but just didnt engage with me and felt forced (This come with time and experience, I know I had trouble when had my first Customer dealing job in customer support) However, what kicked it down too two stars was the quality of the drinks. The Strawberry Watermelon tasted like they just dumped like 5 gallons of syrup into it and noting else. The Mocha Coffee tasted like it was just all milk and noting more. I cant speak for the other drinks as I have not tasted them and it could just be a off day for the ones I had today. Human Bean has not fully lost my business yet and I would be willing to given them another try. Should Human Bean want to contact me in regards to this review please leave how to do so in a reply and I will get in touch with you. We are very unhappy with the service not received on Saturday September 24th at this location after waiting in line for 10 minutes to be told when we got to the window at 457 pm that they close at 5 when I informed her that it wasnt even 5:00 after I looked over at my clock she just said sorry were closed rudely I will no longer support this business
Could never ever say enough good things about this place not just amazing coffee but the staff is absolutely incredible polite kind courteous always smiling always joking and if youre in a bad mood you wont be when you leave personally I think its cheaper than a shrink. 😜🤣💙💜☮️

Ive been a loyal dutch bro customer for 10 years and this was my first visit today(01/30/2021) should of made the switch before now. An ice americano that doesnt taste watered down and actually tastes like coffee!!!!!! Price was higher than db but was worth it...hopefully my next visit will be the same....very friendly staff

Good smoothies never tried their coffees or shakes and the price is not bad at all never gone here much but its a good place for a pick up coffee or a smoothie!

Theyve tried to charge us a different price for the same drink for weeks now. Weve had to correct them every time we came through. Its probably because some of the girls are new, but it gets frustrating after a while. Otherwise the coffee is great and the girls are friendly.

The girl that was taking my order was not paying attention to my ordering. She was looking off into the distance at someone else. I had to repeat my order 3 times. During the second time where, she turned to all her coworkers, and said something completely unrelated to my ordering. The young girl who rang me up was sweet. When I received my drink and drove away I realized my drink was wrong. I ordered a 20oz iced coffee with cream, bit of sugar, and some caramel. Zero sugar and zero caramel. I feel that if shed been more concerned with her customers, as she was some random person out in the parking lot, my order would have been correct.

Due to the high volume of fake five star reviews left by companies, for companies, the highest score I ever offer for the best product or service is four stars. This having been said, the owner of this franchise is an absolute genius. He/she has discovered that IF you hire cute chicks to serve customers, they will come in droves, both men and women. Compared to the looks of those hired by Starbucks, these chicks are HOT!

I love this place and the people that work there are awesome!! The huge selection of hot tea is amazing, and great quality. They offer frozen hot chocolate :) you ask for that or cold hot chocolate at Dutch Bros, and they will give you chocolate milk...no joke :/
Time and time again, they take too long. Even with one other person in line & 4-5 staffed, it took over 8 minutes for them to serve two drinks. Wish I could make them a habit but I don’t want to wait for so long.

In the World of Coffee, the rivalry/warfare in Oregon between chains of Coffee drive-up is almost epic. There are a lot of great coffee chains (and independents too), but in my opinion, Human Bean is at the top in quality at almost every location I have visited (and thats a lot!). They really have excellent staff and that shows up in what/how they build your drink.Sadly, Eugene doesnt have a lot of coffee drive-ups so this one on W11th really stands out and the quality is always great! Make this your stop if heading to the coast, out to Fern Ridge, or just getting out of town.
Lattes are very weak its like drinking water with a little coffee and milk cant barely taste the coffee inside. I only order lattes from coffee places . In the beginning when they first opened the coffee and lattes were great so I came here often and stopped coming after they started not tasting the same so every once in a while I say to my self maybe it will be a good lattes today but no it never is so Im done getting coffee from here. I gave a 3 star cause the creamosas and smoothies are good my kids like them but anything else no thank you.
