We were looking for a very specific vehicle. Despite being residents of Charlotte, NC, we found what we wanted at Evans Kia and were quickly put in contact with Devon Labrie, our salesperson, who should also be yours if you shop at Evans Kia. Devon went so far above and beyond the normal call of duty to help us make the most seamless, easy vehicle purchase we’ve ever made. If you should find your search landing you through the doors of, or two states away on the phone with, Evans Kia, you won’t find a better salesperson than Devon. Do yourself a favor and ask for him, if he hasn’t been promoted up the ladder by then.

I have had the worst experience with Kia based on their product with cars and treating customers. If I could rate a 0 I would, their quality of cars are very cheap and they treat women with no respect WHATS so ever and sadly being in the military, didn’t make it any better. The only person whom helped me was Mr. Will the owner and that’s it. I will not purchase another Kia nor will I refer another individual to purchase a Kia. I regret getting a Kia Forte based on how many problems it’s giving me and they want to blame this and blame that but it’s honestly their fault! It was okay. I wish I had to dependable cosigner. Im trying to get together a group of businesss. It is crucial I have my own vehicle. Having to rely on using someone elses car really causes problems which in turn causes problems for my entire community. Please keep in mind in order to get more business I will have to have my own transportation. thank you
Brandon Thompson was one of the best salesmen we’ve dealt with. There was no heavy handed pressure to buy something that wouldn’t work for us. We thought we knew what we wanted when we got there after looking Kias up on the internet, but after looking at several models we changed our minds and picked something totally different based on his recommendations and trying them out. They even stayed late until I could make up my mind. He patiently let me check out all the cars until I was satisfied I’d made the right decision. Very impressed with Evans Kia and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend someone to shop there for their next car!

This was the worst experience I have ever had purchasing a vehicle. We requested a K5 all black with red interior and was told thats like finding a unicorn. The sales manager JR found one and said it would arrive in 10 days and the it would be reserved for us as long as we were there in 24 hrs after being notified. It was listed online for 27 thousand and some change, we were notified 5 days later it came in, we showed up 21 hrs after that to find the new price is 37 thousand and it had 22 miles on it with dirt in the back floorboard! While talking with the sales manager about the price because we werent expecting this kind of payment he told my wife and I that he didnt have to work a deal with us because it was already sold to someone else if we didnt purchase it. We were lied to and treated like we didnt matter! I requested to speak with the General manager and the directed me to a cardboard sign with a name and number on it, this just goes to show their lack of professionalism. After leaving this dealership we decided to just stop by Kia of Augusta on Gordon highway. There we found 2 of the exact K5 s we were looking for (the unicorn) for 4 thousand less than Evans kia that had the windows already tinted, included washes and a 3 year maintenance contract, they even got us 3.2 percent less interest than our pre approval. I highly recommend anyone in Augusta looking for a Kia or nice pre owned to visit Kia on Gordon highway and ask for Matt Holley
This dealership is the worst when it comes to customer service. First, they sold me a car in which the door didnt remain closed while operating the vehicle due to a prior accident which they claimed was minor. Then, when I returned that vehicle and purchased a different one, they lost my title and still have not provided it since May. They do not answer calls, respond to voicemails or texts, the service department is rude and the people answering the phones dont even know how to properly transfer a call. I drove all the way to Kansas to buy my last Kia because they didnt have what I wanted in stock, but after this experience, I will happily drive back there to avoid buying a car here again.

OMG...I had an awesome time today!! My daughter bought her first car on her own and Kia made it happen! From the time we drove on the lot, we were met with smiles that just made us feel so welcome. I bought my Kia from Kia of Evans on my birthday in 2019. Ive been getting it serviced and the oil changed since. Had my appointment set up for 3 weeks. Hubby shows up to appointment. Rude lady says its too far over my miles to do my free oil change. Is then rude to my husband. Definitely wont be going back or buying another car from them. Up until now we had gotten really great service. Please business, remember that even one rude employee can lose you customers.
My wife and I tried to buy a car from them. We were looking for a very specific color of a Carnival. They called us, told us they had it, and we asked them for a price. They quoted us a walk out the door price, including tax and fees. My wife drove 2 and a half hours the next morning (I had to work), and when she arrived, they ambushed us with a $10,000 markup over the quoted price, while blaming it on Kia so they dont look like the bad guy. Literally saying that Kia the manufacturer is marking all the prices up. After some negotiation, they came down to a markup of $6,000, implying that it was them marking the prices up, not Kia.My wife left without the car.Look, I get marking up the prices. Just dont lie to us to have my wife take a 5 hour round trip to get us in the door, then lie again saying it was the manufacturer. Just let us know off the bat how much you are planning on marking it up.Update: after my wife left to get some breakfast while holding back tears, the sales department Dot and Kristian, got in touch with the owner and managed to get it down to $2000 over the originally quoted price. Given the high demand of the car, we made the decision to buy it. The car itself looks sweet!The sales department in general is really sweet and helpful. Just did not appreciate the ambush pricing.
This dealership is holding new vehicles hostage in attempt to create a bidding war amongst perspective buyers. Additionally they tried offereing me nearly $10,000 less than what my vehicle was worth for a trade in.I like the people of Evans Kia, and it is possible to make a deal with them, but u have to come prepared or they will cripple you. I really wish companies which deal in vital commodities were a little more professional.
A salesman from Evans Kia stopped to help me change a tire on the side of the road when I didnt know how to get my spare out. I will be buying my next car from here in a couple of months, and I hope to work with Taylor. Thanks!

I’ll start off by saying the ONLY reason I am leaving two stars is because Jahmar Bingham was nothing short of kind, helpful, and professional while we were looking at cars today.My husband and I have been in the market for a new car and the carnival was our top choice. We went to Evans Kia to look and see them in person and found one that we both liked and was perfect for what we needed. Jahmar was helpful and respectful and even returned back to the dealership after he had left when we came back after dinner to work numbers.However, when we sat down with the sales manager everything went south. Suddenly the BASE MODEL Carnival had a $10k markup because of its popularity and “it’s a nonnegotiable price set by Kia and it’s above my pay grade”. When I said I had no interest entertaining almost $50k for a bare bones base model without any extras, this man had the nerve to give me a dirty look and ask me what I was even trying to accomplish and tell me I wouldn’t find a better deal. I’m not sure if it’s because I’m hugely pregnant and had small kids with me, but i speculate that had something to do with the price mark up. I’m not that desperate for a car, especially not from someone with that attitude. The attitude continued until I stood up and said we’re done and bless Jahmar because he had the GM come speak with us to try and rectify the situation.Truly, I thank Jahmar for his wonderful customer service but y’all need to reconsider the man you have as a sales manager. Not everyone is manager material and his attitude is a poor reflection on your entire business. He is the reason I’ll be looking elsewhere for a new vehicle.I should add that in reading these reviews on google, seems as though someone else had a similar experience with this dealership trying to buy a Kia carnival. I can’t help but wonder if it’s the same nasty sales manager they dealt with as well.
If I could put less than one star I would. There were very few of the vehicles listed on line at the dealership and the prices were higher than online. They offered me $8500 for my trade and I knew it should have easily been $13k or more. The sales manager even had the nerve to ask my husband, what you cant afford it? Totally rude and unprofessional. We went to Milton Rueben and they gave us $13.5k for our trade and got us payments exactly where we wanted. There was no difference between the internet pricing and the pricing at the dealership.
The staff there dont listen to what we wanted. They tried pushing us into a car that was $7000 over the budget we said we could afford. They didnt offer options. Showed us one car only and when we said no, they were quick to dispatch is. The sales manager was not really interested in taking care of us. He was only interested in getting a commission check. AVOID THIS PLACE
They were doing good and then my wife messed up and we had to get a new engine put in. I bit the bullet and paid for it, then 3 days after i got my car bk the new engine threw a bearing and now its been in the shop again for well over a month. Then they actually call me when my car is almost ready and go, Oh btw your going to owe us even mote money for having to put this in, even though we gave you a bad engine kia isnt going to pay the full warrenty and you owe us money for our screw up.Update, was contacted quite quickly by boss man and was all worked out. Worst experience with the service department....I purchased my vehicle the summer of 2020. About six weeks ago I contacted the service department to schedule a maintenance and let the woman scheduling my appointment know there was a recall on the vehicle. The woman advised me she would not schedule the recall but let the service department know upon my arrival due to the appointment possibly being pushed out until the end of August or beginning of September. July 24th my vehicle stalled out while I was driving. There were no indicators on to give warning that there was an issue. I had to have my vehicle towed to the dealership and wait until Monday morning to let them know of the issue.Since July 24th I have had to work with Kris who is the most unprofessional person and lacks any form of customer service. I was never contacted to be given updates. I had to ask for her supervisors/corporates information more than once. Once I spoke with her supervisor, Bobby Owens, he was no better. He blamed the pandemic and vehicle shortage as to why the service was poor. He also stated if I did not call every 15 minutes then maybe I would receive better customer service. I could also hear Kris in the background talking about the situation while he and I spoke.I contacted corporate to file a formal complaint.Once I picked my vehicle up from the service department, I asked for the general manager, Wael. I was told he would possibly be coming in that afternoon and they would have him contact me. While all of this is taking place, I am being openly talked about while standing in the service department desk area by Kris and another female employee.I will never return to Evans Kia for any service. I will never refer anyone to this location. I have read other reviews regarding this employee and they are not great. I refuse to spend my money at this location and be treated poorly.

Worse car buying experience ever!! I was told I was buying a new car but was sold a car with over 4,000 miles that was used as a loaner. When I called to question the issue, I was hung up on several times and wasnt given a sufficient answer. There was stains on the ceiling and it wasnt cleaned. To top things off, I have been harassed by the finance manager constantly for $500. DO NOT PURCHASE A CAR FROM EVANS KIA!!!!
Wow, what a dissappointing experience here. We were fortunate to find a Telluride here and bought it. First new car buying experience since 2012. Sales person was so nice and things started out smoothly, but post sale, everything changed. We were insulted by the person called J.R. and the sales manager simply said oops, that was my fault for giving him your file...so insulting customers IS part of his expected job. Then they made us wait to talk to someone and get our key for nearly an hour. This is after we already bought the car and came back for our detail. They didnt detail it at all and scratched the front bumper. Horrible post sale experience. Women beware. No female sales force or managers and the boys/men are allowed and even encoraged to disrespect women buyers. Go elsewhere!

On January 20, 2021, we drove into Evans Kia and were greeted by Adam Borchik. To say that I was overwhelmed by my experience there is almost an understatement. Adam was professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to work with me to get the car I wanted - at the price I could afford. He knew his inventory and was very efficient in getting me exactly what I needed in a vehicle. Everyone in the dealership was professional and efficient. Adam was willing to go above and beyond the call of duty as evidenced by the fact that I accidentally left my drivers license there. He was willing to drive from Evans Georgia to Aiken South Carolina to bring me my license. I highly recommend going to Evans Kia. I very highly recommend that you ask for Adam.

Went in to purchase a 2021 Sorento. Drove the car, loved it and was ready to sign the papers. Then JR Joshua Richardson came into the office with the worst attitude. Rude is an understatement. He basically told us that he didn’t need our business. Left and went straight to Kia of Augusta and purchased a 2021 Sorento sx prestige. If you’re in the market for a new Kia be sure to see Monique Martin at Kia of Augusta. You will be treated with respect and made to feel like your business is appreciated.

Bait and switch! I was told a vehicle from their website was on site and made the hour long trip only to find that it wasn’t. The salesman then wanted to show me a different model. When I asked about the vehicle shown online, I was told it was probably on its way. However, no one was able to confirm that information. Apparently, Evans Kia doesn’t know which or when vehicles are coming to them from the factory. Further communication went unanswered. I took my business to a Kia dealership in Columbia who was more than willing to assist me. I drove home with my new Kia that day. That hour long drive north was well worth it.
I love this dealership! They are all funny and know how to enjoy life while taking care business. Anthony Carlie is a great dresser, but better than that, he is a true professional. He listened to my needs and he did his best to ensure they were all met. I will continue to do service at this dealership. I highly recommend Anthony Carlie as a service representative!

Typical car dealer… You make a deal shake on the price & when you call them to let them know you are coming to get the car the sales manger says the guy you made the deal with was not qualified to make the deal and he tries to up the price….People like this are why everyone hates car salesman !!!!

We had our car serviced by Kia in Evans. Our car is a kia we bought from Gordan Hwy. Dealer.There was a recall. They had it for 3 weeks. No rush. But when we got the car back there were noises in car that were not there before. To top that off the spark plugs were loose and bolts that were not tighten. There is no excuse for this. We have called service dept back. Now we will see what happens.

I went in looking for a specific car for my wife and the atmosphere at Evans Kia was fantastic. I talked to Clayton Jones and even though he was busy with another customer he helped me find another associate to help my wife take the car she wanted on a test drive. Clayton is professional, courteous and polite and I would recommend him to anyone in the market for a new Kia or a used car.
Although I did not end up purchasing a car, I was very impressed with the sales team at Evans Kia. I came to test drive a vehicle and although I ended up not liking it, the staff I met with were all very well mannered and respectful. They will try to help you in any way I can. Will definitely be back in the future!
