As a small business contractor, were always looking for quality service and the right products available for our various customers. Thus far weve only had positive experiences at this Evanston, IL, Sherwin Williams store. Good in store service, able to answer questions over the phone, and quality products. I went to purchase a wallpaper scraper and a 25 foot extension pole. The sales woman said that they dont sell wallpaper. Therein no knife. I asked if professional painter do removal. She said that she did not know.

Came into an empty store with colors in hand ready to purchase paints. The sole employee working over the weekend - clearly frazzled. Did not greet me on arrival. After asking for help and starting my order, she left me each time another customer came in to go help them. After an hour in the store and never completing my order - left and went to SW store in Skokie where I was helped swiftly and with great customer service. This employee gave the worst customer experience Ive had in a very long time. Totally unacceptable. I went and spent my $550 somewhere else. I would not recommend going to this store. Its sad to want to support your local store and be treated so poorly.

I went today for the second time since the safe-at-home order went into effect. Tony was so helpful to provide guidance about the right paint & supplies for my projects. It felt just like I was there in the store even though the order was taken by phone. Contactless pick-up went very smoothly, and I couldn’t be happier with my purchases.I definitely recommend the Evanston Sherwin-Williams to anyone looking to do a painting project—now or in the future!

We had great service. We were helped really quickly and the salesman was super. Very knowledgeable about the product and very low pressure. He also went out of his way to let us know what items would be going on sale and when. I really appreciated his assistance since we have so much to get done in the house.

They got the good paints I like at a better price than the other premium brands. The old location was more convenient for me, but Ill do what I gotta do to get the good stuff. The accessories are reasonably priced and usually on sale too. If you need paint, SW is the place to go.

Great service. I originally stopped at another paint store down the street. I was there for 20 min and not one of the 6 employees said even a “Hello” to me. So I left, drove to this store, walked in and was greeted by Deb who then directed my to wher I needed to go, answered any (and ALL) questions I had and 15 min later I walked out, paint and tools in hand, knowing I should’ve just come here in the first place. EVERYONE in this store is friendly and they all walk you through products telling you what they know and have experienced. These guys are good, these guys are special. May they all get raises! And-my living room and bedroom look incredible that is to the product they sold me. Win/win!!!!
